I've been past this location dozens and dozens of times for the past 15 years or so. And I am now wishing I would've ate here sooner. Everything was Amazing from the staff that talks to you like you are family, the cleanliness or everything, and the food was way better than I could've ever imagined. Thank You to all those that work at Michaelangelo's, Please keep up the Amazing food, and experience.Vegetarian options: Salads, different pizza options, and vegetarian sub options as well.

We are always trying new places when we visit Emerald Isle. The service was good. They were friendly and attentive. We ordered pizza and hot wings. The pizza was freshly cooked and delicious! The hot wings were great, the kids ate them all up. The pizza was a large size and lasted a couple days which is a plus.. This was well worth the visit. Will definitely return.

We ordered a few pizzas from this place and one of the pizzas had a quarter size half inch piece of dirt baked into the slide that I bit into. We were disgusted and called the store to explain the situation and ask them to rectify the situation. The manager was extremely aggressive and confrontational and told us to take it up with our credit card company if we wanted to dispute the charge because he was sure it wasn’t dirt. I drove to the store to show them that it was in fact a chunk of dirt and then he agreed it wasn’t just a piece of crust and it was dirt but that I had placed it in the pizza. He continued to berate me in the store saying they had 50 years of experience and to show him some dirt in his kitchen. It’s absurd to even have this situation occur but then to treat a customer like that and say I wanted a free $15 pizza is beyond craziness. Wouldn’t recommend anybody ever go here or order from here - you don’t want globs or dirt in your pizza which you can see in the pictures below, much less to be treated like that from a restaurant that you’re doing business at. Awful food, worse customer service.

I ordered a large pizza right before closing and had it delivered right at 9 PM. It was about 9:05 PM when I went to get me a slice only to find out it wasn’t what I ordered. I tried calling but no one answered so I waited till the morning to let the staff know I didn’t receive what I ordered only to be told that there was nothing they could do because I had to tell them within 2 hours of receiving it in order for them to help me. I said I tried calling but no one answered the phone. I even took the pizza that was delivered to me back (I went there the next morning as soon as they opened. They said sorry but I had to abide by the rules. $30 pizza and a $10 tip to the driver.I was like how am I supposed to know what their policy is when they don’t even tell you.Yea, what sorry food and service.

Middle of the pizza is a soup-fest, dough/crust has a decent flavor, overloaded with cheese. 4.4/10 everybody knows the rules.People were nice, service was good, pizza was done quickly, wasn't busy at all.

Been eating this pizza for over two decades (and in both on and off season) and it’s consistently wonderful. I love the fresh sauce. I don’t get the complaints on long wait times during the summer - it’s packed, of course it’s going to take a long time. Staff are always polite and my order has always been hot and ready at the promised time.

We have been coming to this location in Emerald Isle for over 15 years. We have recommended this place to our rental clients also. We will no longer come here nor recommend based on our last 3 experiences. The food has become subpar, the restaurant is dirty and bathrooms have a horrible smell all the time. Lastly the service is horrible; the cashier is rude and acts like she cannot be othered to help and they yell at people who try and use their bathroom. The manger was actually yelling through the restaurant and at people walking outside. We will never come to this restaurant again.

We ordered a ham calzone, and this is what was delivered — no ricotta or mozzarella cheese, only ham and the crust. When we called to let them know of the error, they said “sorry!” No offer to refund the cost, or deliver another calzone. Avoid this Michaelangelo’s at all cost. Other locations have much better customer service

Good pizza joint in Emerald Isle. SUPER FAST!We ordered take out, they said 30 minutes, it took almost 20 and the place was packed.Parking can be challenging in that shopping center.The pizza was good. Typical NY style pies, big slices, light sauce, chewy crust. I like a little more topping, they were light on the sausage and pepperoni.

The staff wasn't overly friendly. I couldn't custom-order my stromboli since they already prepare them in the morning. The calzone had like four pieces of ham and tons of ricotta cheese.

We stopped by to try this place out. Not a great experience. We waited over an hour for a 16" pizza and two individual slices. When we received the two topping pizza the crust wasn't done all the way through. 45 minutes I asked about our food, they offered me a refund, I should have taken their offer.

I ordered a single slice of pepperoni. It was a fairly small portion.It was barely heated through. The cheese topping was not melted.The sauce, what little of it there was, was bland and lacked flavor.Don't think I will return

Just went to Michaelangelo’s pizza and subs and got 2 cheeseburgers that was very raw and not cooked you can tell they just cooked the outside a little then asked for a refined but was told I wasn’t allowed to get one this place needs to be shut down and inspected

The Pizzeria is very clean & the food is delicious! When I bring the family, to our yearly trip to the area,we eat lunch at this location; before we get to strolling on the beach.Enjoy talking to all the tourists that visit,many of them arriving from nearby States,a few from the Northeast or the the West coast.Bring the family & enjoy yourselves...

Very cute place. Standard beach decor. Well lit with an upbeat vibe. Reggae playing is always welcome. I got a cheeseburger, fries, and a (large!) slice of pizza; plenty for two adults. Portions are generous, food was fresh. Really hit the spot. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good place for people watching.

Waaaaaay overpriced for ‘okay’ food. Ordered two half subs which were extremely small. Ordered black olives on one that had a $1 charge. Counted 4 olives. Total was 24 dollars. Pizza is way overpriced. This place thrives because it’s the only pizza place around. Please please go to Lazzara’s . Always great costumer service and the food is great.

Ordered a pizza at 548 - didn't receive it until 642. Almost 1 hour to cook a pizza! I understand you cook items in order they are received but let the customer know you are backed up & how long the wait will be - we were going to be late for our movie. That being said, tables were clean & TV'S throughout the restaurant. Free refills on drinks. Once we finally got our pizza - it was tasty, toppings were correct (we had 1/2 pizza with different toppings) & I liked the crust. I wish there was more cheese on it.

Manager wouldn't let me charge phone so I canceled my order and walked around the corner to shark den, when I asked if I could charge my phone at that restaurant ,a sweet lady said sure thing , and I got a beer and some awesome seafood. Pizza is your average greasy shredded cheese on whatever tomatoe sauce and the service is well below average sooo.

Pizza's are huge and good! But they can get pretty busy on the weekend and there wasn't much order when it got super busy. Note: pizza is very large. One slice is maybe double the size of an average sized one.
