We took a trip to the coast on a whim and everything was sold out around us. Mary at the front desk had 1 room left and took care of us! She was kind, professional and alleviated the stress we had from the previous hotels we tried to check into. This hotel looks brand new - we haven't stayed at a best western in over 15 years but it was nicer than some of the Hiltons we've stayed it! You won't be disappointed at the Lighthouse Suites!Rooms: Honeymoon suite is plenty of room and has a really nice shower tub area

We stayed for just an overnight quick visit. Like checked in at 10pm and left at 9am. The lady checking us in was super friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and our room was nice. Lots of space, super clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The place was quiet and we felt secure. We were about 4 blocks from the beach where there is a nice public access. The place had a great selection for breakfast including fresh fruit, bagels, yogurt, waffles and more. The lady checking us out was also super friendly. Overall a great place to stay.

We stayed for a girls weekend at the end of the island off season. This is a smaller hotel, but immaculately clean and updated. Every single person from the front desk to the cleaning crew were friendly, helpful and personable! I travel frequently and was hesitant to book outside of my normal chains, but this was a great choice. Public beach access is within walking distance. Highly recommend this facility.

Where do I begin? It seems like a nice place because it’s a newer build but man oh man are the walls thin as paper. You can hear everything in everyone’s room. We checked in late - maybe around 11pm and the manager had already left for the night- they made us wait for the manager to arrive to let us into our room 45 minutes after a long drive from out of town- that wouldn’t have been as much of a problem if they would have been accommodating to a later check out at the end of our stay but they said no to a 30 minute late check out. Hypocritical much? Then when walking to the bathroom in the lobby they asked me if I was a guest there. It was so unprofessional. Yes, I paid you all money to stay at your hotel - you do not ask someone that. It was so uncomfortable and rude. I understand they may have people from the outside come in but to be harassed by 3 employees standing in a circle to use the restroom made me very upset. The 2 good things about this place are its location and it is clean but don’t expect management to treat you with respect or be able to get a good nights sleep with the thin walls. Pick another hotel.

We booked our stay at the Lighthouse Suites last minute to attend the Dueling Pianos at 77West this past weekend (which by the way was a BLAST and highly recommend!!). From making our reservations to checking out, Diana and Mary were so accommodating and welcoming! The room was clean, cozy, fresh, and well appointed. The continental breakfast area was very clean and had plenty of delicious offerings. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay and all the laughs!! Thank you and in the words of the Terminator.... "We will be back"!! :)

This Hotel was the best we stayed her 3 weeks ago and the front desk staff was amazing, friendly, professional and made sure we had everything we needed. They even had good on the go breakfast options. I told them this would be my go to place to stay not even minutes from the beach. And how clean it was was beyond impressive! That's is what would bring me back every time. I didn't see any dust Not any other perspns hair on bedding aa I have see in other hotels. Just outstanding! Grocery store and food nearby. Not too far from Camp Lejune.Rooms: Very spacious and CLEAN!Nearby activities: Cute waterpark next door and I saw go karts as well. Beach super close

The Lighthouse Suites is a small, quaint, very clean, comfortable and welcoming place. This place is in the middle of the tourist section of Emerald Isle with many different venues and restaurants near by that are within walking distance. The staff was polite, friendly, professional and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we are happy with our stay.I would recommend staying here when you are looking for a place to stay.

Best Stay in Emerald IsleThis has become our home away from home. The rooms are light, airy and comfortable. Located steps away from the beach and shops! Now about the service - this is one of the the best is southern hospitality. Diana and Mary will take very good care of you - trust me! They are very friendly and really strive to make your stay perfect. They are simply good people ❤️ Yes, there are plenty of things to do and great restaurants, food trucks, beach concerts, etc. but the best is to just relax and enjoy your stay. Kindness goes a long way!

The rooms are nice, clean, pretty new with good beds and showers (two of the most important items in a hotel for me).Bur i am really impressed with the service. People is super helpful and willing to do the extra mile to make sure our stay was pleasant. The only thing i miss is a laundry (not any laundry room in the area) and perhaps a Gym but if you like jogging/running there is a nice walk and bike lane to do so.With breakfast included, there are many dinner options to choose from in the area and so far all of them were delicious.

Room was clean and very modern. No real complaints. I did wish they had a gym/workout area but we went walking on the beach for exercise. And if you need an iron/ironing board (I always use one) they have one up front but not in the rooms. No biggy. Overall is was a very quiet clean nice place. We went in late September.

My husband and I recently spent a 3-night stay at this hotel to celebrate my birthday. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were all very friendly. The bathrooms are very nice compared to some other hotels we have stayed at. We enjoyed having a separate sitting area in our room where we could watch TV at night. Since I am a light sleeper I appreciated that the bedroom was further from the hallway which made it quiet. The included breakfast was just enough to get us through our morning without having to purchase a separate meal. The location is great - close to the beach, bridge, stores and restaurants. We went to some excellent restaurants for lunch and dinner which were all a short drive away. This was our first stay in Emerald Isle and when we find ourselves back in the area, we will gladly stay here again!Rooms: Clean and comfortable rooms.Walkability: Beach, restaurants and stores within walking distance.

This hotel is fantastic. The hotel is extremely clean and the rooms were very spacious for the price. Our room also had a walk in shower rather than a tub so we really liked that. They have a free breakfast in the morning and there was just enough options that I think you could please 99% of people. The staff is also AMAZING! The gentleman that checked us in was very calm and explained everything well. The following morning we met Dianna and she is just the sweetest person you could ever meet. It was my daughter's 8th birthday and when Dianna found out, she went above and beyond to make her feel special. She put a birthday song on the speakers so everyone could sing to her and even gave her a special gift in a hand decorated bag. Her pure generosity brought me to tears and I would never have expect someone to care so much. I highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. For the price, I cannot imagine a better hotel.Rooms: The rooms are a great size and were very clean. Our room had a little sitting room area and then a separate bedroom.Nearby activities: There is a little water park nextdoor and a shopping for beach needs across the street. There is also a little strip of stores and coffee in walking distance.Noteworthy details: The staff is fantastic and will go above and beyond to meet your needs.

The only name brand all suites hotel in Emerald Isle. Hotel is small and in a great location. Short walk to the beach and short drive to restaurants and shopping. Hotel manager Mary takes great care of the property and shes very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection is ok but limited to the waffle maker, microwave egg items and some packaged baked goods. The rooms are nice but somewhat minimalist in decor. They need to add a desk and some other chairs to the rooms.Overall, I would stay there again.

So it is about a 5 minute walk to the public beach. There are showers and bathrooms there as well. This is a very new hotel. It only has about 36 rooms. The room was excellent and had a separate living room with refrigerator and microwave. The bed was good. The only negative we had was the lack of shower water pressure. Everyone we encountered at the front desk had a great attitude as well. The continental breakfast included fresh fruit, cereals, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches and omelettes, bagels, muffins, etc. We would definitely stay here again. Best two restaraunts in the area are Rucker Johns and Fish Hut. Beware Fish Hut has no AC and is open air and stays crowded.

The guest room 201 was so unclean. There was hair everywhere, on the beds, on the pillows, and in the “clean” towels. There was a mysterious pink splatter of something in the bedroom along the wall and on the light switch that was also on the ceiling in two places. I notified the front desk when I checked in and saw it. The phone didn’t work either. The front desk attendant came and took pictures of it and said he would let the manager know. We stayed the night and the pink stain was not cleaned up nor did a manager contact me. I let the front desk attendant know about the weird unclean stain in our room when we checked out and she assured me she would look into it and would let a manager know. It’s now a day later and I have yet to hear from a manager.I’m very disappointed in our stay. The room was disgusting and as a women with health concerns, I felt like my health was not taken seriously. I would have been satisfied with the stain being cleaned up immediately as soon as I notified the front desk about it the FIRST time.I can no longer recommend this hotel and will just stick to Marriott and Hilton hotels when I come visit the Crystal Coast.Edit: I find it hard to believe that pink splatter was paint. I wiped off the light switch fixture when I was wiping down high touch areas on my own and it easily came off…not like paint that has dried. Also, I did not see anything in the room that was painted light pink. I am most disappointed in the lack of response to my concern until I posted a review and pictures. I did get late check out honored but left early. Did not care to stay later.

Stayed here for most of the week. I'll start with the good; Location is great for walking to stores and restaurants. Got the room I requested when I got there. It has a small hotel vibe, which I liked a lot. I liked that they had breakfast. The Bad; It was kind of a long walk to the beach. The vent in the room was full of dust, which caused my mother and I have to allergy issues. Someone got stuck on the elevator when we were there. The gentleman who works the night shift isn't very friendly. He wasn't friendly to the guests who were checking in before us either. Part of the $5.00 per/day resort fee is getting BEACH towels. It is on the website when you press the resort fee hyperlink. He said, " We do not have beach towels, we have pool towels, that are only meant for the pool." The website says differently, and first shift had no issue giving us beach towels upon request. Was close to giving 5 stars but I wanted to leave an honest review. Other than that, everything was great. Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful.

Second time staying at this hotel. Very clean, modern, attractive hotel. Parking lot is well lit at night. Definitely has that beach look. We have only been in the off season, so crowds and noise have not been a problem for us.We like the room with two queen beds and separate seating area for watching TV and visiting or having a snack. Microwave, Keurig coffee maker and refrigerator are great. Comfortable beds. Adequate toiletries and towels. Only problem is there were only 2 small trash cans and we had them overfilled after our 2 night stay.Free breakfast has all the options of a continental breakfast with frozen options as well. No waffle maker like some places have, but plenty of options to choose from. All staff are very nice and act like they want you to enjoy your stay and to let them know if you need anything.Good location on Emerald Isle. Short drive to beach. We will stay here again.

This is THE gem of Emerald Isle hotels. I am a stickler for cleanliness. Even in $400+/night hotels, I am often disappointed. Now that I am battling breast cancer, my standards are even higher. I can say, 100 percent, this is the cleanest, most thoughtfully attended hotel I have ever stayed in. (Including resorts outside of the states)Now, that is only one aspect of my happiness & gratitude with our stay. The owner/manager was truly a delight to interact with. So much so, that I looked much more deeply into this hotel after our encounter. What a heartfelt story! She was such a pleasure to me and my adult children, and absolutely amazing to my younger children... and she has no idea how badly my family needed this short little getaway. We had only 2 days between some major life events/changes that are coming on all too quickly. It is a very emotional time in our lives. The location is very ideal, and only a short, easy walk to the beach. (Even for me, straight out of surgery.) The lobby, room, and decor are absolutely perfect! So many genuinely wonderful touches throughout.Front desk staff was pleasant, and even offered an adorable beach cruiser for us to use. It was the perfect center focus of the lobby. The fact that it is there for guest use just solidifies my every opinion here. Maybe one day we will actually be able to utilize such a dreamy offer.Around the hotel has a very sophisticated beach vibe/theme. The AC worked exceptionally well, black out curtains were perfect, linens and toiletries were swanky. Rooms were spacious, well kept, and modern-cozy. Not cozy as in small. Cozy as in relaxing, peaceful, and welcoming.Breakfast was a very unexpected change from the normal hotel options, but still included all of the kids' go-to favorites... plus, some new bars have now been set!The beds were very comfortable, which I can rarely say when staying away from home. Again, the level of cleanliness still has me in awe. With two busy toddlers in tow, and being immunocompromised, the things I have to check are overly scrupulous. I did not have to take out a single cleaning product that I've become accustomed to traveling with. I was able to come in, inspect, and focus solely on family time and rest. What a blessing! We have come to Emerald Isle a handful of times in the last 1.5 years, but never overnight, as I had yet to find suitable accommodations.**This. Place. Is. It.**Our family will forever come back!!To the owner/manager, your kindness actually brought tears to my eyes, and your hotel exudes class and devotion. The thought, time, work, and finances you have poured into there with such love will forever be ingrained on my heart. Thank you. 💝Rooms: The room was very clean, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The AC worked exceptionally well, black out curtains were perfect, linens and toiletries were quite swanky. Rooms were spacious, well kept, and modern-cozy. Not cozy as in small. Cozy as in relaxing, peaceful, and welcoming.Nearby activities: A water park sits adjacent to the hotel. Beach access is a short walk awaySafety: We walked to the beach in the late evening, middle of the night, and midday. We felt very safe. It has a very hometowns feel.Walkability: It is a one minute walk to ice, food, and a water park. Less than 5 minutes to the beach.

Great, clean place, very conveniently located by the beach and all the fun in Emerald Isle. It is a simple, modern design for the rooms & has all the typical hotel amenities. I love how it was walking distance to pretty much everything. The staff was very friendly and we will definitely stay here again when we come back.

The walls are very very thin, that is our only dislike but it's very big dislike. Should not be able to hear other guest normal talking or music playing or tv that easily. I mean I would expect for $50 a night hotel but not for over 250 a night. Loved the woman we met Mrs Dianna at front desk earlier today.will let her know I'm the morning about our big dislike. Will not be staying in this hotel again though for the no privacy for ppl being able to hear everything.

We recently stayed here for our second time. All the staff we have encountered have been super friendly. We are always impressed with the cleanliness...even the pool. I hope this always stays the norm here. And while the breakfast options are prepacked items, I was still happy with the options... especially the addition of fresh fruit cups. The only complaint we have are the walls being SUPER thin. The first time we stayed it wasn't much of an issue, other than hearing the other rooms tv.... but this last time we were next to a room of a family with a toddler who enjoyed screaming, especially around bed time. That was frustrating....

Upon check in , everything was good. Rooms are clean , however the strong scent of Fabuloso killed my nose and eyes. That night, we got back to our room and we had no clean towels, no sign of any housekeeping , so I went downstairs to get shampoo , towels, coffee pods, etc. although we requested housekeeping services with our door sign when we left for the day. No apology, but the guy at the front desk was fairly pleasant. Later that night , I realized that the walls were super thin. Believe the other reviews on this. You can hear EVERY word in the next room and we were next to 2 very loud kids. There might as well be a curtain between the rooms. It was unreal. The next morning, the kitchen was out waffle batter, the main thing my husband wanted. This morning , checkout is 10 am, we were 11 minutes late getting out of the room. We took some stuff to the car, and were immediately locked out of our room. We went downstairs and the front desk lady seemed aggravated by this. She got the door unlocked and said “ be out in 10 minutes”. We realize we were 11 minutes late, but that comment pissed us off.( Up until then , we let all the other stuff go, because life is short) She could have said “ The doors will automatically lock in 10 minutes” in a pleasant tone. . I will say that the rooms were clean and they don’t use cheap toiletries. I was impressed by the fact that they use Pharmacology products. Breakfast was good but needs to be replenished , so that guests don’t have to ASK for it to be. In spite of everything, it’s an ok hotel if you don’t expect too much and are ok with hearing your neighbors every word.

We have not been pleased with the customer service we received from this hotel. We booked under a wedding block and we couldn't wait for the fun to begin. We trusted the hotel to have the right dates for the wedding block but it turns out they didn't because they charged us for an extra night. We brought it to their attention but they had no intentions of crediting the card.As you can see from other reviews here, the walls are thin! Very thin. They act like the hotel is a library. And that the guests should be extra quiet because their walls are so thin. That is not a good way to start a vacation. You can not have fun if you can't even talk in the lobby or your room for that matter. We came in late from the rehearsal dinner and we were told right away to be extra quiet. The lady at the front desk actually told us that we should have been spanked more as children and that way we could have followed THEIR directions better. I mean who says that to their hotel guests? The bride of the wedding worked well in advance to line up this wedding block. She was very upset about the extra night's charge and even called on our behalf. Again, there was zero response for the manager. There is a brand new hotel being built in the area, so the Lighthouse will not have the monopoly any longer. That is wonderful news for vacationers, family reunions, girl's weekend getaways, and wedding parties. When the Lighthouse starts losing business they will be more responsive to their paying guests and take things like an overcharge into consideration. I have a feeling that the new hotel won't have walls so thin that guests complain about hearing others snore!

This is a beautiful hotel with clean comfortable rooms and a friendly, accommodating staff. We needed a quick place to stay after a tree fell onto our home, and the staff was very quick to find us a room and offer their lobby for my husband to work for the day, even after checking out. They offer a self serve breakfast with many choices which was very good. They are just a quick walk to the beach and right beside the bike path, if you enjoy biking.Prices were a tad high, but not when compared to other beach hotels n the middle of summer. The facility and staff more than make up for that. Would highly recommend this place to others. 😊

Upon arrival we were met at the front desk by Destiny. She was so helpful in getting us acclimated to the island. She told us the best restaurants and told us about this park in swansboro where we could go crabbing. She really knows her stuff!! It turns out this was the perfect location for us to stay in on the island!! Not too far from anything!! The Inn had plenty of parking, a pool that is just the right temperature, breakfast in the morning and coffee when you stay up late just to have a nice chat with your new friend Donna!! Donna works over night and she does it all with a great attitude and a kind heart!! She brought us towels so we could use the pool, she made us coffee, and this is all while doing all the other tasks required of her. And she did it all with such ease. These two women shaped our entire trip!! We looked forward to seeing them every time we came through and by the end of our stay we felt like we had made two new friends!! The rooms were very clean and everything felt right. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!! We will definitely be back!!

Excellent place, staff phenomenal and personable. Rooms awesome, housekeeping very good. Breakfast good, only comment: we were there 16 days of which the first 12 days had fresh brewed coffee, then they switched to Nescafé machine, not a fan. Coffee weak and did not care for. All and all, thanks for a great stay and recommend better coffee.

After being on a 5 day weekend trip lol In Emerald Isle, at a pre scheduled beach house rental, We ended up having to stay an extra night Due to Unforeseen hazardous driving conditions. The front desk clerk was knowledgeable and Answered all of our questions, and very very friendly. We checked in at 5:30 and didn't check back out until it was time to leave the next morning. The room was Spacious, clean, cozy And reasonably price. They had a wonderful selection of frozen Jimmy Dean Breakfast products , packaged danishes, and fresh fruit cups for their continental breakfast. It was a great stay everything we needed it to be.
