Had a large order with a group of friends after a long day at the beach and the food! Got a ton of food for such a good price and everything tasted amazing. They accidentally made extra wings and decided to share them with all the customers in the restaurant. Their food was definitely worth the price! Everything tested great! The pizza slices were so huge we had to take some home. Cheese fries, wings, and cheese breads were all plentiful and tasted amazing! The cheesecake was a delicious dessert to end the feast. Wonderful and hidden spot that isn’t common. Definitely going back every time I’m around.

It was about an hour and twenty minute wait for two large pies but well worth it. The guy on the phone let me know ahead of time, plus I’m glad I knew to call ahead because I the order in before closing.I ordered a large loaded (supreme) and large house chicken bacon ranch. Both were delicious and well worth it! Good, thin NY style pizza. Would recommend.

March 6, 2024Last night I had a large pepperoni pizza with extra pepperonis and garlic knots. Hands down bar none the pizza and garlic knots were the best I’ve ever eaten. The only thing more impressive than the food was Lazzara’s manager a young man named Mike. He was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Truly one of the most impressive people I’ve met in a long time.I very seldom give perfect ratings but they deserve it. I didn’t rate the atmosphere because my order was to go.

Highly recommended!! First time trying this place and it did not disappoint. Amazing pizza and garlic knots, you can really taste the freshness, which I loved. Big slices! 🍕 Our family loved it, we can wait to try them again very soon! 10/10 👍🏻Edit: today we tried the calzone and lasagna, and they were both so delicious! You can tell that they are fresh, we are so impressed and so happy that we found this place, it’s hands down our favorite pizza place! If you haven’t stopped by, do yourself a favor and give them a try. You won’t regret it!

i LOVE this place. we visit NC every year as a family and Lazzara’s is always our go-to for pizza. We do the GodFather pizza and they are HUGE. definitely big portions, but can never complain about that. Everyone is complaining about the wait times… but honestly whatever. It’s a small joint. They get busy!! We always order online and expect a wait, but it’s so worth it. can’t complain about a good pizza place getting great business. they do carry out or dine in with a little outside area to eat. definitely give it a try!

We ordered on a Friday night so it was 1 1/2 hour wait- didn't bother us we were visiting the pier and enjoying the evening. Didn't serve the godfather this night, not a big deal. Large pep pizza and lasagna.Pizza was good. Was a typical good greasyish, cheesy pizza, crunchy crust.Lasagna was really good 👍 came a garlic knot. All in all it was a decent meal!

Lazzara’s Pizza & Subs was awesome! They did not disappoint. The pizza slices were huge and there is no skimping on the toppings. The toppings won me over because they are equally cut and spread all over the pizza. Some places just throw toppings on and you may or may not get a bite with toppings - not Lazzara’s. We also got the garlic knots and a steak & cheese sub. You must get the garlic knots….who doesn’t love baked bread, smeared with butter and garlic and then add in some marinara sauce to dip it in! The steak & cheese was good and tasty, and the quantity of meat and fillings was on point. It was a great way to end our wonderful stay in Emerald Isle with some good eats!!

Excellent experience at this local pizza spot. Our kids each got a slice and they were huge! The staff was friendly. We will definitely be back- maybe next time for "The Godfather"- a HUGE pizza everyone can share!

The Loaded Godfather is a monster of a pizza. Very good pizza if you’re looking for a NY style pizza. We ordered the Loaded without mushrooms and the Canadian Bacon and the other toppings matched the website except for the olives which were not mentioned. In their defense, we didn’t call and complain about the olives so my wife just picked them off and I ate them without issue. Just be warned, if you order a Loaded pizza and you don’t like olives, make a note on your web order or let them know on the phone that you don’t want them. Excellent pizza otherwise and we’ll worth the money as they don’t skimp on the toppings. The Bianca pizza was excellent and we ordered it with spinach and onions and it was spot on. Two thumbs up minus the olive incident 👍🏻👍🏻

I ordered two lasagnas, two calzones, and small pizza for a family dinner of 22 and it was a hit! Food was delicious and got rave reviews. The manager was very helpful with my order and figuring how much we would need to feed everyone. We will definitely do this again. Perfect Pre- Thanksgiving family dinner. We live locally and order pizza all the time and I’m so glad I thought of calling and asking if this is possible.

By far, the best pizza on the Crystal Coast and beyond. As a part-time resident, we order from here everytime we are in town (almost monthly). Unlike most places today, they use high quality ingredients, provide very generous toppings and cheese, and supply very large pies. Their sandwiches are also excellent! During peak times and peak seasons, be prepared for long waits and delivery times as this place is always busy.

Quiznos style conveyer oven. Maybe they turned up the speed of conveyor belt for night-before-Thanksgiving rush, but regardless… was super under-cooked. Not NOT worth the $35 per large pizza. And, as the highest rated [4.5] pizza joint on Emerald Isle, makes me seriously doubt Google ranking AND will definitely never choose Lazzara again. Incredibly low quality.

This pizza is delicious and not greasy!! We always order the biggest size and eat on it all week!! We noticed people complaining about the wait time but if you want the best you will order early!! We do not mind the wait because this pizza is excellent!!

Food is great, staff is friendly and cook very quickly. The only thing I think needs to be worked on is how big the restaurant is because my parents were struggling to get in the seat and get out.Dietary restrictions: They clean the oven before they make the gluten-free pizza

Order pizza delivery to our hotel the night UNC beat Duke in the Final Four for Coach K’s last game. The pizza and game were fantastic! This was one of the best pizza’s we have ever had. The delivery was actually faster than the expected time and the lady was very courteous. Pizza was fresh, hot and loaded with toppings. We will definitely be getting the pizza again on our next visit to Emerald Isle.

We were pleased with our experience. We ordered two small pizzas, a medium pizza, and some wings. They use quality ingredients. The pepperoni had great flavor and wasn't too fatty. The wings were cooked well and had good flavor. Some of the other reviews complained of soggy pizza. This is a NY style pizza, which always tends to be soggy in the middle. Order smaller size pizzas to minimize this. They do sell a huge pizza that must be close to 24", which I would expect to be quite soggy in the middle.We ordered just after 5 PM on Friday and they were already getting busy. Keep in mind the island traffic can be horrendous at times, which may explain the slow delivery times reported by some reviewers. Our order was ready in 30 minutes, but we did take out.

Just picked up a couple of calzones and they were amazing! I could only finish half of mine and I can put away some groceries. The crust was crispy and delicious and it was packed full of toppings. Keep doing what you’re doing!

Great choice for pizza on Emerald Isle. They're known for a massive sized pizza (the godfather). Topping choices were all as expected. Not my favorite pizza style, but very good for what it is. Garlic knots (ordered each individually) are massive and come with pizza sauce (one per person is sufficient). It is primarily a take-out pizza restaurant but there are a few tables inside and outside on the sidewalk. The line is always out the door. It's obviously beloved locally.

This place has become a money grift. I understand inflation and the prices of ingredients and labor have gone up but don't straight out mislead the customer on top of it. The prices of the pizza have risen like crazy the past year here but that is not the main issue here. The main advertisement shows $19 for the large pizza in reality you are billed $19.99. Then they now sneak a hidden "processing fee" and including tax your $19 large pizza quickly become $22. They don't tell you any of this until after you place your order and have to discover it yourself. Then they get upset with you for questioning why this is because businesses should be up front with these things not trying to sneak in extra charges and inflating the real price after the fact. No more Lazzara's for me, I can't support businesses that do these types of things.
