I love this place and the staff, but we've had to take multiple items back from being out of date. We bought a pack of Oscar Mayer ham that was a month out of date! Yuck! Enjoy the savings just be careful and check the date.

Store has mostly everyday items. Convenient location, friendly cashiers. Clean and organized. Family dollar also have refrigerated and frozon foods ,Fresh bread, pet food, garden etc. Easy access from the road. Budget friendly.

Please see the above photos of the mold growing the the bottom of the milk cooler at family dollar on hwy 87 in elon,nc store 8588 I believe. This is absolutely disgusting not only can you obviously see the mold you can smell it before you even approach the cooler. I have already spoken with the usfda and the Alamance county health department. Your employees should have to clean out every cooler, freezer, storage case and all to clean this crap up. I will be leaving this review on fb, yelp, and google.
