I go to Ellerbe NC every Sunday. For the past 3 Sundays when I have stopped the entire wall of coolers is broken. It is full of hot drinks. This past Sunday when I stopped there was 1 free standing smaller cooler working. There was 1 soft drink of the brand I wanted in the working cooler. When I went to get it the clerk told me that it was an employee's drink. For real?? How about when your employee puts 1 drink in the working cooler for themselves maybe they could stock it with a variety of drinks so there is a chance of getting a cold one.

Used to be a great place and employees treating customers great. Now, going through a new company and some employees now, are just not great to work with. No coffee, no soda machine, yet, and the cooler was supposed to be fixed a month ago, and drinks and beer are still hot. I just left from that job, tonight and I'm going to tell you. It's not worth the headache, now

The staff at Quik Chek are so helpful and courteous that I hate to complain about other factors so this review is in no way a reflection on them. I do not know who owns the business. I have had Multiple poor experiences with this gas station . The pumps are broken on a regular basis...daily. Some pumps will be working some days but you never know which ones. Often people have to try to pump gas only to have to move their vehicle to another pump. The pumps are never filled with receipt paper, and when they are they often read "error" or "see clerk inside". The pump displays are often not readable. Since this is the only modern ( and I use "modern " loosely) gas station in our small town I feel that the owners don't care about these issues as they have been ongoing for 2+ years. I give this 2 stars simply because of the nice clerks. Otherwise it would be a 1.
