My experience at State Road Animal Hospital is always amazing. The staff and facility are always friendly, welcoming, and professional. This small animal vet office is always my #1 recommendation to everyone. The entire staff makes sure all of my pets, canine and feline, have a safe and happy experience each and every time we visit. I could not ask for a better small animal vet office. I drive over forty minutes one way to come to this particular vet office and it is well worth the extra gas to know my pets are in such good care; peace of mind is worth a whole lot more.

State Road Animal Hospital is an amazing place. My kitty, Cotton, has been a long time patient here and they always take great care of him. They're equally compassionate as well. I recommend giving them consideration the next time your furry family member is in need of TLC!Attached are some pics of my sweetheart of a buddy for the past 16 years. I cannot say enough great things about State Road Animal Hospital.The staff is absolutely amazing and professional in every possible way. Each Doctor is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable.The office is immaculate well organized and always sanitized when I arrive.I moved my breeding business and personal pets a year ago, after moving from a very unprofessional office in the Yadkinville area. Moving to State Road Animal Hospital was the best thing I have done not only for my pets, but my staff and clients as well.Finally, to close, I recently had to let my male German Shepard go.The decision was stressful and terrible to go through. The staff and doctors were all so patient, supportive and kind. I felt informed and more at peace with the decision to let him go, as a direct result of their thoughtful support.Thank you so much State Road Staff, you are all absolutely amazing people.

Great atmosphere in this hospital. Staff is kind and knowledgeable.Couldn’t see my cat tonight since they were closing in an hour but they were super helpful in giving me the information on a few emergency hospitals they trust for my baby!

Dr Reeves and his staff are very thorough and professional in their treatment of our pet dog. They also showed kindness and a true interest in Denver and spent time in answering all of our questions. Recommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful and compassionate place for their pet care

As the Pandemic was raging, the two front desk girls refused to mask and always had less than professional demeanors, although Dr. Reeves would mask for me. Dr. Reeves also knew the high regard my family had for him in the way he cared for our animals. I found Dr. Brown to be gruff and scary, and have heard others say the same. Because of their attitude about Covid and mask wearing, I switched my animals to Animal Ark. At SRAH, I had been a regular customer, bringing three dogs and two cats to them. Do the math on what that contributed to their income. Found out today, after inquiring about their turnover at the front desk, because even though I love Animal Ark, State Road is less than a two minute drive for me, that they actually flagged my account because of my prior bad review on Google. Ok. I’m convinced now. This is not a good place. Ego driven, they hold grudges, and most shocking of all, as a health facility, not concerned about doing their part to not spread disease. Shame on them. I got their message loud and clear. We’ll stay right where we are, with Animal Ark, and be grateful for a kind environment.

I have used State Road Animal Hospital for at least 20 years now. During that time, they have cared for multiple dogs of ours. Most of those were healthy their entire lives, however, some were a bit more complicated with chronic issues. No matter the situation, be it accidental injury or sickness, the doctors and their staff have always gone above and beyond to provide the very best of care for our pets.

This was my two Australian Shepherds first vet visit here and they were so at ease! Staff is very sweet and knowledgeable, and the veterinarian was great with my dogs. I am glad I found my animals their new vet! ❤️

My dog has been seen her since before he turned 1 and today I really need him seen as he has been passing blood and throwing up. I was told that he they couldn't see him until Monday! I will never take another animal here! Extremely uncaring and acted if it didn't matter! I would give zero stars if I could!!!!

I’ve been taking my pets (2 dogs/2 cats) to SRAH since 1990. The staff is extremely knowledgable, very caring, provides prompt service/treatment, and makes sure their patients stay healthy and are well taken care of. This is why I have continued to take my fur babies to SRAH. I wouldn’t think of taking them anywhere else!

We have been taking our pets to State Road for over 20 years, ever since we were breeding Yorkshire Terriers. Everyone there has always been extremely friendly and nice and have a very calming presence with our pets. We would never think of trusting the care of our precious little ones to anyone else !

Dr. Longstreet is wonderful. She treated Miles like the sweet baby he is at his last visit. She is also the one who helped me identify a food allergy in Tucker who was getting recurring ear infections.
