I have used this kennel for several years and I have meant to do a review for quite a while. I love this kennel. They do a great job of keeping my babies and grooming them also. I am extremely picky of where I keep my babies and I would put Man’s Best Friend at the top of the list of the kennels I have used in this area.

Mans Best Friend has to be the best groomer we've ever used. The family there is extremely personable. They keep up with and are involved with us as clients. They're even some of our dog, Gingers favorite people! She recognizes where we are going when we take her there and gets excited in advance.

It’s hard to find someone who cares for your pets the way that Mary Ellen & her team do. They are truly treated as if they were their own! I think this speaks as to why her volume is at a place where she cannot take on new pets - This is not a bad problem to have & speaks to how much people trust her with their pets and value her services!Thank you for always taking the best care of Chloe, Harley & Kimber! ☺️

I called and the costumer service was terrible. She was very rude and I ask if they were taking any appointments for dog grooming and she said they were not taking any appointments. After asking that, I then asked if they were taking any new costumers in the future she then proceeded to smart off and say “well there are three different groomers in town if you need one.”

Took my dog here while my family and I were out of town for a few days and he had a great experience. Got a bath and nails trimmed as well! The staff is very professional and courteous. Will be taking him back next vacation!

BEWARE!!Sadly I was very disappointed in our experience with this kennel. We just moved to the area and was hoping this would be a good and safe place to board our doggies since it’s nearby our home. BUT I WAS WRONG!I made arrangements over the phone for my two dogs to stay the weekend and was told that it was $15 dollars per dog per night and that the earliest drop off time was 7:45am for Friday morning. Dropped them off around 8am Friday morning and was told that I would have to pick them up by 6pm on Sunday, at the very latest.Fast forward to Sunday, we go to pick them up a little after 5pm. Upon arrival she has me sign them out and while signing proceeds to tell me my dogs will not be allowed to stay at her kennel anymore due to them having 5 poop accidents and also one of my dogs was trying to escape the small fenced in area outside. She then ask me in a rude manner if my dogs are inside or outside dogs?!? I told her that my dogs are inside dogs and never have accidents at home. Mind you my dogs are not puppies they are 7 and 8 years old and are trained to go outside, so I can’t possibly understand them having 5 accidents in the matter of 2 days. We always kennel our dogs while out of town and have never had one complaint about our dogs behavior and not one has told us that they had accidents in their kennel. She said that due to her sickness her white blood count is very low and she cannot be handling poop. Don’t get me wrong I get that, but your job is to take care of peoples animals while they are away and i would think that would be something that could be a possibility of happening in that line of work. But honestly I know my dogs and if they were being let out and taken care of like they should of been I do not believe there would be an issue. Also somehow the dog she said wasn’t trying to escape the fence has a gash on his snout and she doesn’t know how he got it. She asked if my dogs fight bc they was in the same kennel. Obviously the answer is no considering I kenneled them together.To top things off she told me my total was $90 for the weekend. My dogs were there for a total of 57 hours. My understanding while making the arrangements was $60 for the 2 nights since I had to be back by 6pm Sunday to pick them up. I would even somewhat understand paying for half a day for Sunday even though 6pm was a time given by HER NOT ME. But to charge $90 for 57 hours when it’s supposed to be $30 a night for the both of them sharing a kennel is ridiculous. I’ve never had a kennel charge me full price for the pick up day.After arriving home both my dogs peed for a min straight and both pooped right away like they hadn't even been let out in a while or even all day. It’s strange they haven’t had any “accidents” since being back home but had so many this weekend.It was a very dissatisfying encounter and I feel like i’ve let my pups down letting them stay at this place for as long as they did. 😢BEWARE!!

I had been looking and looking for places to take my yorkie to get a beautiful cut and i found this place they did an awesome job i will definitely continue to go there very nice people and it seems like they are very serious about the work they do i was highly pleased to say the least thanks to all the staff. Oh and what put the cherry on top was a beautiful Christmas card i received with a very beautiful picture inside that was extra points absolutely loved it keep up the good work guys.

I've been bringing my furbabies to her for years now, for grooming and boarding. I don't trust anyone else around. Everyone really cares here and it shows. She always goes above and beyond. It's like your furbaby and yourself are a part of her family.
