Ingles is our go to store. The managers are so polite and friendly. The employees are very helpful. I wish our Ingles had more things like in bigger towns: pharmacy,, salad & soup bar, sandwich bar and fresh seafood.Though. I love our store.

I love shopping at the Ingles store in Elkin, N.C. I can find items that no other stores have. The store is clean and the employees are so very nice.

Very clean , some good prices there. I was only disappointed in the parsley and cilantro. They were rotting. Everything else was pristine. I have to say a big shout out to the bakery. The carrot cake was absolutely wonderful. Best I ever had. Please keep making it

Great bakery. Staff are always friendly. Good prices and sales. Look here first to find "hard to find" items. The tastiest apple fritters. Go early and get them fresh. Crispy on outside and soft and fluffy lol on the inside. Highly recommend the bakery here. 👍🏿

The best in our area. It's never crowded, but has a great selection, including some harder to find items. Meats are especially good. Great variety of specialty teas. Service is always friendly and they bag your groceries. They also always ask if you want assistance to carry out your groceries, too, which is special in today's self service world.

Great bakery! Ordered a red velvet bday cake and it is delicious. Made it exactly how I ordered. Very nice lady who took my order and gave me the cake. Lots if good baked goods. Will definitely be going back and recommend.

This supermarket is kind of out of the way from most other businesses in Elkin but it’s also the cleanest. Prices are always competitive.

I love Ingles, we come to this store often. Excellent customer service and the shelves are always stocked. When I can't find something I'm looking at another store in town, they always have it in stock.

I have always liked the muffins from the bakery, not sure what has changed, but the last 3 times I got the fresh baked muffins, they all baked out and over the muffin paper, burned, and dry. I needed a cake and decided to go elsewhere. My concerns are will the cake be overbaked or very dry. Hope the problem is fixed soon. We loved a half a muffin a day.

The produce is a lot better at Ingles than it is anywhere else in Elkin as far as a grocery store goes at least and they have some pretty tasty stuff in the deli/ Bakery they also carry a little bit of a different type of products then you can find anywhere else

I prefer Ingles greatly to Wal-Mart. The meat prices are much better. The store staff are personable. It's small enough to not be exhausting, and big enough to have everything I need. If it gets busy and people queue up, the store's management will jump in and open another register, or help bag at a register.

Generally, I will patronize local over chain. But for a chain, they are at least domestically owned. This particular store is great, however a couple of times when I wanted to get some sliced meat and cheese, the man (not gentleman) behind the counter clearly had something better to do than provide my cold cuts. The woman I had talked to before countless times was fabulous. However, due to the repeated disrespect this man has given me, if I need cold cuts mid week and he is the one on duty, I pass him by and wait until I can get back into Wilkesboro to get them. This place with within 5 miles of my house, but I would rather drive 25 minutes into Wilkesboro than patronize that rude man. The first time I encountered him I figured he was having a bad day. I let that go. But the second time, then a third? No thank you, mister. I don't need that attitude. I can get that from my teenagers.

One of my favorite grocery stores. Such a refreshing change from Food Lion. It offers a lot of things you don't find elsewhere easily. I wish it had a better organic produce section. Everything else though is GREAT!

Some very nice folks work here. Store looks dingy because of old lighting. Store needs a big remodel. Feels like it is barely holding on. Inventory is a little spotty at times. No milk out, all kept in the back. Out of lemons?! Friday afternoon only about 10 cantaloupes on stand and all needing to be discarded. Next Saturday before noon same ones still out. Out of onion rolls.

Older store but clean and well kept. We liked the selection of salads at the deli. Only issue has been finding out of date items. I overlooked several and they made it home with us.
