I love the way it is set up now. It's an adventure trying to learn where everything is again but worth it. I think the isles have a little more space, and check out is so much better. Some people don't like self check out, but I love it. I am not patient at all, so doing it myself with no wait is perfect. I also like the fact that the new system will let you know if an item is recalled. My Vienna's had been recalled, and the system would not allow me to even scan it alerted the store associate, who was also very nice and helpful. New Dollar General is a 5 for me.

I had the pleasure of being helped by a lady named Jessie . She was so very friendly, polite , respectful and knowledgeable of her store and products. I now shop at this specific dollar general because of the wonderful experience that Jessie made possible. I suggest going to see her and the other fine associates at Dollar General .

I love shopping here. I never know what I'll find for my grandkids- all 10 of them !! They have a variety of so much. Staff is usually very helpful & friendly. I just wish the store was bigger.

Always has crowded disorganized shelves. Seems like too much stock in a small space. Workers are always friendly and happy to help you find things. Prices are sometimes higher then your local walmart.

Nice people. Except one guy that I asked about a price of something they jad on special. His response was I don't know. I mean seriously??? Other than that the Elkin store needs to adjust its product so that they are not so crowded with items all over the place and DG needs to give them more room to work at check out so they have a place to store bags. The check out closest to groceries always has too much stuff on it. But, people are nice...for the most part.

It is a mess in this store.While I recognize that Dollar General stores are discount stores, many are often organized and neat inside, despite the bargain values. In this case, items were just in piles on some racks/isles, and the store just seemed in disarray.If you can see beyond that, then go get 'dem specials.

The manager at the Elkin North Carolina was very courteous, professional and helpful. She is awesome. Her aid number is a00000098040. Also if someone from corporate contact me as i forgot my password and all login info so i can utilize all my digital coupons. Thank you. CINDY F

Love everyone at the Rock Creek and Mountain View stores. Always greeted by my first name and they treat my disabled son so nicely.

Husband went in for lemon juice and the associate yelled "it might be on aisle 3 somewhere "...He looked high and low and couldn't find it. She was very unwilling to help us. Store was nasty, as usual.

Great little store freindly people and great prices on cleaning supplys and laundry detergent.they also have alot of lower cost dollar store brand name medicines which are about half price of the name brand stuff and work just as good .

Disappointed, only 1 cashier and no help.People needed help to locate items but couldn't find what they needed and the poor guy at the register was bombarded with customers and couldn't leave his register.

The Store in Elkin NC 28621 has locked the doors at 8:20 pm but the sign has 8am to 9pm is this a normal practice for this Store .
