2024 update: still closing 7:30pm several times at random (especially on weekends)Figured id update reveiw since still keeps happening and add photo, BE AWARE THIS STORE RANDOMLY CLOSES ATLEAST TWICE A WEEK NO NOTICE, if you have any other places to go between where you are and there stop there instead and this store is highly unreliable and normally not stocked at all. Store used to be great but all the staff quit and the shelves have been empty for almost 8 months, ontop of that atleast once or twice a week store is just randomly closed with a piece of paper on the door, but again even when they are open shelves are empty.

Store is never stocked with the items it has listed on the app. For instance on the app it will list having 10 cases of spring water but once you get to the store there is absolutely no water at all. Plus the store isn’t open when Google shows that it is so it’s a hit or miss game anytime you plan to go here, makes me wonder if employees only work when they want to

It's hard to review a store that's never open, this is the second day in a row the store has been scheduled to be open and is closed. Management needs to step up and hire responsible employees or the general manager needs to hire a new store manager because someone is horrible at their job.

The door and the website both say they close at 10:00 pm! I have been to this store Multiple times and the door is locked at 9:45!!! If not sooner! This is Unacceptable!! The workers see you at the door and say sorry we are closed even after I say y’all close at 10:00PM! They say sorry we closed early! This is garbage! Hire better help!!!!

I was desperate to find seven beach towels for seven family members. Happy days, there they were. They held them for me until the following morning and they were really nice ones too. Thank you for going that extra mile for me Dollar General at Elk Park. Can't wait to see you again.

This was the dollar store in Elk Park North Carolina. The prices there were the same as everywhere else. The cashiers was very friendly and helped when I couldn't find what I was looking for. I Love All the dollar stores. You can't beat their prices any where. So if your looking to save money go find a dollar store near you and download their app. You can save even more with their digital Coupons. LOVE IT!!!!

Relatively unorganized and messy store. Every time I go in there are usually boxes and carts scattered around in the aisles, especially in the health and beauty section. Seems they can't keep half of their coolers stocked, either.They also apparently don't bother enforcing their mask policy, as not only were a couple employees not wearing one but half the customers don't either.

Great service paying with the cashier very polite everything in the store is easy to find and pretty cheap and great place to go food shopping and looking for Christmas decorations and things to help you around the house definitely recommend :)

They NEVER have more than one register open at one time even though there are several employees "on break".They just had a cart full of sugar setting there but my wasn't ALLOWED to get any because it has to be counted for inventory and they said no one had time to put it on the shelf.The parking lot was COVERED in ice...I would only mention this is I saw a grown man fall. He wasn't hurt but I heard him go straight in and tell them how slick it was and their responce was "we have someone come and scrape....that's not our responsibility"!!! When some elderly person gets hurt or a car slides over a kid...wonder who will be responsible for that???It's a real shame that a huge chain of stores with a huge new store can't keep employees at the register, product on the shelves or the parking lot safe to even walk in to the store.I'm sure this won't change anything but if you read it at least you will know what to expect. Don't judge the brand new store that looks very modern and nice...it's a let down and frustrating.

The GIRLS on the night shift are RUDE and make people feel ashamed if they have to pay with change....as my fiance had to one evening. Money spends the same and anyone who openly laughs at someone who is down on their luck... should NOT be working with the public.... PERIOD! Plus they ignore people waiting to check out. HORRIBLE employees.

I went in to pick up a loaf of bread there was a name brand bread for $2 I took it to the counter and the man promptly charge me $2.50 the price was keyed in by the clerk even though they were using a computer they reset them computer but it locked up I went to the next clerk over because it seem to be operating. The person in front of me wanted to use an electronic coupon but the coupon wasn't on the cash register so it took about 10 or 15 minutes to straighten that transaction out for that lady. After which the cash register lady there promptly charge me $2.50. I again told her them the loaf of bread was $2 she took her key turn them key in the cash register cancel the transaction and keyed in $2 and with tax it came to $2.04 it's a shame that North Carolina charges tax on food items. That cash register lady never needed to check if that loaf of bread was $2.50 or $2 she just rekeyed it and as $2 so she must have known it was $2 loaf of bread. But then I am just a foreigner so what do I know. If you buy things there you should notice what the price is so you can double check at the register. Just a suggestion.

Horrible customer service. Horrible selection. This is one of the worst store for this chain I have ever dealt with. I get better customer service at dollar tree. I will not be shopping here and will tell everyone I know not to shop here. Hopefully then you will straighten out your store and your staff.

I find this store sucks, they're always following u thinking u are shoplifting.So disrespectful.I work for a living I don't have to still.Embarrasses my granddaughters too.I spend at least 100 dollars a week in there but I'll never go back after Saturday afternoon.
