Staff are friendly and take great care of my Boykin Spaniels.They smelled so good after their baths , and their paw pads were so soft .. Their neck bandanas were too cute .. It was obvious to us they had a great time .. Happy , well taken care of .. Can’t say enough about the staff .

I took my sweet baby, Chloe to the barking lot for a puppy trim & bath! She looks beautiful! Everything I asked for was done and looks excellent. Such sweet staff. She was so happy and looked to have had a great day!

Took very good care of our dog while we we were in town visiting the water park. Sweet staff and you could tell our dog was super happy when we picked him up! Plus, they even brought him out in a cute bandana. If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely be using them again for pet care!

Awesome place to bring your pups for boarding! My rescue American bully doesn't do well with strangers and takes a while to warm up to others. They had no problems with him. He even started to enjoy himself and get used to everyone❤️ Of course, my other dog (a social butterfly) absolutely loved it there. They gave the dogs a bath on, I think, Thursday and they still smelled great when we picked them up on Sunday.

I recently visited the Barking Lot for a scheduled appointment for my puppy. This was the second visit, as the first one was most pleasant. However, this visit took a turn on the wrong direction. I gave clear instructions for the cutting style for my puppy. I assumed my instructions would be carried out without any issues.I received a text message stating my puppy was “dressed and ready to go”. Once I arrived I handed my card payment to the young lady who met me at the door, as guests are not permitted inside the establishment. A few moments later, the young lady return with my card, receipt and puppy. The charge was $92.29 for services but I paid without hesitation considered my styling request was honored. Moreover, I paid without seeing her or inspecting her cut because I trusted them and assumed this experience would be similar to the previous one.At first glance, I was shocked at how low Khloe’s cut was.I waited a few minutes before calling to discuss my displeasure. During the call, the young lady stated there was a notation that Khloe had mats. I found this to be untrue because I both comb and brush her regularly. Additionally, I was offended that Khloe’s hair style changed without so much as a courtesy call or explanation prior to the change. I genuinely think the groomer failed to review my request and delivered a style of his/her choosing without my consultation or permission.I remained calm during the call. The young lady did not offer an apology. Needless to say I moved forward with the cancellation of future appointment for her.I do want to mention that the groomer reserves the right to charge for no show appointments and cancellations. However, during my first visit, I was called an hour before her appointment with notification the appointment needed to be rescheduled for later in the week due to an emergency. I was understanding however it warranted me to change my schedule without consideration. Lastly, my puppy experienced diarrhea immediately following her appointment. She hails to be treated by a Vet to address the issue. I’m not too sure what she was feed during her visit but her stomach didn’t agree. Now I’m on the hunt for a new groomer with better communication and operational practices.

We took our boy Trumpet there last Wednesday- dropping him off at the door at 8am for a grooming- they met me at the door and would not let me come in - they just took my dog and told me they would call when he was ready to be picked up. 6 hours later YES 6 HOURS later they called - upon arrival I was told they could not trim his nails. When asked why they said he was stressed? What? The dog has had his nails cut more times than I can count- anyway paid the bill and left- noticing immediately after hat Trumpet practically dragged us by the leash to get to the car- The next day Trumpet was lethargic- wasn’t eating- the following day he was running a fever- The following day after we hat he was taken to the ER where he was diagnosed with pneumonia. A week later knowing our boy was fine- absolutely fine before we dropped him off and now watching our 3 year and led boy suffer I will never bring him back there. I want to know what took place while he was there - This is not the first time Trumpet has been to a groomer- and want to know what he was too stressed to have his nails cut? I want to know why he is now fighting for his life? I will never ever again trust a groomer with my boy.

My baby had such an amazing time at Barking Lot! Never before has he come home so happy and content. Karen and everyone else there give your fur baby the same amount of love they would their own. I cannot recommend this place enough! We don’t live in the area (we travel for work) and our circumstances were unique and they handled every bit of it extremely well.

Excellent staff...my furkids boarded for a week and I received pics and videos while I was away as the staff knows how much I missed them...wouldn't board anywhere else! Had 3 happy campers with smiling faces the whole visit.

This has to be the best dog grooming and boarding location around. The staff is always friendly and the place has tons of business. I have never heard of a single complaint against this place in all the years I have been going here. The owner is normally on-site also and is extremely friendly and willing to work with her customers' unique needs.When you first enter this place you'll notice that it is clean. I mean spotless. I have watched the staff, owner included, take shelves and everything down to dust and clean. I do not know how often they do this, but the place is spotless.The next thing you'll notice is the staff. The staff is always friendly, even when things are hectic during check-in and check-out times. I have never once seen an outburst from a staff member here, even when their computers are down and they're working from paper! Very good staff.The business has a bunch of kennels in the back which are indoors and air-conditioned. There are a lot of smaller kennels as well as large suites for dogs that need some space. No matter what canine companion you have, there is a place for him or her here!Outside they have a huge, fenced-in area where the staff walk the dogs multiple times per day. You puppy will not be locked up in some cage while here. That pup will get plenty of love and attention from the staff as well as plenty of walkies!Finally, the owner is generally on-site and she takes part in everything. Whether it is trimming a dog, walking them, bathing them, grooming, cleaning, or helping customers, she's around. She is very friendly and willing to work with special needs customers. She offers great customer service, which is probably why she has such a busy business!

Great grooming and boarding place. Have been using for 10+ years and our dogs have loved the barking lot. Great groomers and staff. Have been a life saver for boarding and also for day care. Not sure what we'd do with out them!!

Took two farm dogs,Happy and Kato, who's coats were dirty, matted and I consider them long haired. My babies came out of there happy and looking like they wanted to go to a show.We are new to the area and so blessed to have found them. Thank you and we WILL be back❣️

Barking Lot, Inc. is a top notch facility with a top notch staff. As a dog trainer, having a nice facility and staff can make or break my business. I started offering training out of their facility about 6 months ago and have had nothing but positive reviews from my clients on the level of customer service and care they received for their dogs while boarding. I am new to town and I figured I would stop by to get information so I could start bording my 2 dogs coco and Volvo the staff was so welcoming and it felt just like home. But I did not like how the owner acted and talked to the employees like they was dogs it made me sick to see that I could tell she is a money hungry troll I hope for the best for all the workers y'all don't deserve that guys and girls y'all should all quit and leave her standing there with no help
