First and foremost, the staff here is always friendly and helpful. Secondly, the store generally clean and clothing racked nicely. That being said, my issue is more TJ themselves vs any issue with this store. I do not know if it is just me but finding any clothing for 30's-40's is impossible. This goes for any of the retail stores in Elizabeth City. I have also noticed that most of the clothing has gotten cheaper in its fabric when I do find anything. That is also a corporate issue. Finding shoes in my shoe size is a pain as well. Other than that, things are good.

I was very surprised. Even with the Christmas rush the store was still pretty neat. There were so many people shopping that i hardly had room to walk. Prices were decent.

Tried on so many different clothes and every item fit weird. And the shoe section for a size 10, there were only three pair and of course nothing I'd wear. Went over to Cato two stores down and within 15 minutes tried on two outfits and bought both. I'm sure this store has other things to offer other then clothing, however my review is based on that.Updated review: cashier's were quick, efficient and friendly. I didn't look through the clothes, however I did find a few things on my list and then some.

Never know what I am going to walk out with when I go here, but it's always interesting. Today it was a 12" griddle to replace a warped one that no longer cooked evenly on our flat top stove. Next time it may be new throw pillows or a pair of jeans. If you're willing to hunt for things you will love, you'll find something here that you never knew you needed, but can't live without.

Rarely find clothes here. I do find home gifts in the back wall often. It has a better selection than Ross. Prices for the most part are reasonable.

What's not to love about TJM? I usually head in with one thing in mind and can never leave without picking up something cute. Great prices, friendly service, always clean.

Had a good selection. It was strange to see aisles and end caps with valentine's day and not Christmas. Pajama selection was thin and no fuzzy w pockets left. Still managed to spend $100 on other items.

Great, low prices. But there could be more than 1 register open. After 30 minutes of waiting in line, 3 people finally opened up other registers. With all the short staffing everywhere however, i am sure they were doing the best they could. My cashier was a young man and very nice. The makeup area is a mess. There are makeup prints all over boxes, from where people just use the stuff and put it back, very unsanitary, got home and had a half full bottle of foundation. Basically bought used foundation.

Great options for clothes, purses, home decor, children's toys, bath and body products, linens, food, kitchen items, shoes, etc.Friendly staff. Clean store. Prices are good as well. Fast moving checkout line. I usually just buy something from the non-clothes areas. I have never walked out empty-handed. I always find something I like here.

They have a nice variety of durable dog toys and accessories. The home decor has really expanded. They had a variety of chairs, stools and tables like never before.

Went shopping in Elizabeth city with my sister. Didn't realize they had built up so much. We went to several stores and I bought a few things. It was very nice and alot of fun spending time with "Sissy". Love ya

This TJMAXX is very popular in local community in compare with Ross which is next door.I can find there nice purse 👜, nice winter jackets, doggy food, teas, honey, oils, kitchen staff (those are my favorite) and of course lots of clothes. Recently I purchased very nice chain with a cross.Always neat and clean and busy. Thank you.

The prices are amazing and the employees are extremely helpful and kind. However, the quality of the clothes is horrendous and the beauty/skin care items are out of date. The clothes are made to fall apart. Sometimes you'll find a decent shirt or a pair of shoes but that's rare. Other items in the store are fine but I would stay away from some of the clothes and beauty/skin care products.

Nice selection of things. Just wish it was a bit more organized. I like finding random goodies, but the downside is that it's not consistent as to if they will have it again at a later date. Most things are nicely priced.

I was extremely happy that they allowed my dog in the store. I am a small business owner and was in need of a backpack. Time is a hot commodity for me.Why this is such a big deal is that I have a 195# Great Dane and he is NOT a service animal. He doesn't fit well in a shopping cart.Thank you so much T.J.MAXX!! I was able to get everything done on my "to do list" and not have to leave my "people person" furbaby in the car! We will be shopping there more often.
