Brought a rabbit here a few months ago it ended up diying if ur buying a rabbit don’t go here rabbits be sick without u even knowing.

Appalled at how the live animals were being "cared" for and will never shop here again. Ended up buying a $40 bearded dragon because the other one in the tank was attacking it and biting its toes off... offered to pay half just to get it out of there and the girl said corporate wouldn't let them discount live animals. I think that girl was embarrassed and I am in no way upset with her, I just cannot believe that is their policy. All while this is happening I turn around to notice the grooming dept has a large dog on a table with NO ONE standing next to them; not very good practice since that is beyond dangerous!

You know I’m not really one to advocate how people handle things but to have dead fish sitting on your shelf is something to be spoken for yes I get it’s a fish but at the same time you have this fish living in a tiny container for months and they’re dying they all looked like they were on their final stretch I thought we went thru this years ago to take betas out of those containers but anyways I told the people working there they chuckled and said oops like I don’t think that’s an appropriate reaction anything living needs care for no matter how small do better

April is a first rate groomer! Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Danielle, absolutely loves to see April. Dannie comes out happy and beautiful after each groom. We just love April!

It's more of a pet supply store. Not a large selection of live animals. They have a very small supply of fish and some reptiles. That's about it on the living things. Otherwise the store is full of a little bit of everything. It's a very clean and organized high dollar store.

We brought in a full grown very thick haired Elkhound/Shepherd mix who was a rescue. We are very sure she has never been to a groomer. She was shedding tremendously! The groomer was very patient and kind to our big baby. She did a de-shedding shampoo treatment. Our baby came out so beautiful, fluffy and clean!! Also her shedding is almost completely gone!!!! Thank you to our groomer Hailey!!! We will be bringing her back when she needs another grooming!!!

I heard someone greet me when I entered, but never saw any employees. The store was neat, clean, & organized. I only gave 3 stars because one of the cats up for adoption appeared weak & ill, & with the absence of employee presence, they're leaving themselves more susceptible to theft.

Google value horrible service. They stand around talking, won't move out of the way for you to shop and you have to ask them to check out. I ordered online for curbside pickup and then they said they didn't do that. I pull up and there is a sign offering curbside pickup.

I recently moved to Edenton-nc, and was having a hard time finding a groomer to meet my dogs' needs!I have never used a commercial/retail groomer before, so I was nervous. Danielle eased mine and my dogs' anxieties! She did an amazing job and I could tell my dogs liked her, because they came out so excited and happy!I will be back! Thank you Danielle! Rufus and Gizmo look great!

My first time here and everyone was very friendly. This store didn't have the specific cat accessory I was looking for, but Jessica went above and beyond and helped me find exactly what I needed at a competitors location. This store will be my first stop for pet supplies because of the high level of customer service I received.

The Kitties are adorable and sweet. The employees are nice and the store is clean. The selection is limited. It's not a big store. And they don't carry Fresh Step litter, but they do carry lots of grain free cat and dog food, treats, toys, beds and litter boxes.Please adopt and never shop! They always have lovable adorable kitties up for adoption from the local shelters. They are spayed/ neutered and ready for their furever loving home.😊

We called to see if they had any bunnies available. We were told yes but that it wasn’t available until the next day and you could not place a hold on it. We drove 30 minutes to check out the bunny and decided we did want to come back for it the next day. I asked when the store opened and they said 9. Arrived 15 minutes before opening to make sure that we would be the first ones there to get it, and upon entering the store the bunny had a sticker on the window stating it was on hold. I asked how that was possible, since no holds were being taken. We were told that somebody called that morning and placed a hold around 8:30. If the policy is that holds can’t be placed, that policy should stand for everyone. If the policy is that you can place a hold the day the bunny becomes available, before the store opens, everyone who inquires should be made aware of that policy. We left highly disappointed and frustrated that we wasted our time.

I love this place. Such friendly, knowledgeable staff who really care about animals and really know their stuff. I recently adopted a sweet old cat (hey guys! It's Gandalf's mom!) here and the two women working lit up and cheered when I said that I was giving him a forever home. They remember our dog Jake by name and they're always excited to see him and remember things we've discussed previously. They make us feel like family.

The service was ok and that's why they got 2 stars but I went in for a simple nail trimming for my pup, she told me to stay because it wouldn't take long and I hear her say oops and notice she nicked my pups back nail too far and She wiped it with something, but I didn't think anything of it. Well I get home and notice there is blood all over my back seat and not only did she nick his back paw's nail too far she cut the skin and fur off of his front paw. I think that I would have taken it way better if she had at least told me because I completely understand that it is not an easy task but to get home and see my puppy's paw bloody and blood all over my seats is not acceptable so long story short just be careful going here.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I got my dog groomed here a couple weeks ago and she came home with scratches ALL under her fur. Over the last couple weeks the wounds have been oozing and scabbed over and have finally just started to go away. She is afraid for me to brush her now. I can’t imagine how much she was hurting when they brushed her THAT hard. Neglectful.

Took our dog in for 3pm appointment for grooming ,came back at 7 because we hadn't heard anything from goomer, still hadn't done our dog, so we left and went to dinner returned at 8 and she still wasn't finished after another 20 minutes we were given our dog back with the worst grooming that we ever experienced. We will never let them touch one of our pets again. Going to try another groomer. Good luck if you go here!

Took our Dachshund there to have him groomed and they always do a great job. They treat your animal as if it were there's. Friendly staff and they make sure they groom your animal to high standards. They let you know of any concerns that might have aroused while your pet was being groomed. We have taken our dog to other places to be groomed and no one has done the outstanding job Pet Sense always does!!! It's an hour drive for us to Pet Sense but it's Absolutely worth the drive to there. I highly recommend Pet Sense for there Pet Grooming and other things needs that you may need for your animal

I love this store. My dogs are very spoiled and the folks there are always friendly. I was a little upset while watching a groomer hurting a dog one day however. She was using that nail file that spins to do the dogs nails. The dog behaved very well until she would hold the file on his nails for quite a long time, and as you and I both know, those things get really hot, but when the dog would start to cry out she didn't stop at all. She muzzled and kept torturing the poor thing. I couldn't understand why she didn't realize what she was doing. I did go in and talk to her a bit to see what was wrong but she didn't seem to think she was hurting the dog. I don't have my dogs groomed here but the store itself is awesome.

For its size this is a great store. Nice employees who are actually very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. (Unlike some places in town). Groomers here are friendly and easy to talk to. Quality place for pet accessories and pet grooming.

I'm from Richmond, and I was in the area yesterday visiting my aunt, and she wanted to come here to get an "itch spray" for her dog who suffers with allergies. She did not see the spray that she usually gets so she asked for help. The Assistant Manager was extremely rude towards us. We we were polite and respectful when asking for help. We are African American. There was a tremendous difference in her interaction with the Caucasian customers. When we checked out she didn't say "Thank you for coming, have a nice day"...nothing! She just looked the other way. I told my aunt to never again spend her money at this store! I hope the next time that this lady or one of her family members are in a store and asks for help that they recieve the same disgusting attitude that she gave us!

Most of the time they will have exactly what you need in stock, or close enough at least. They also now carry a broader variety of pets ranging from hamsters and guinea pigs to lizards and tarantulas. I also have to say since the renovations I think the arrangements of the cat cages are a lot more humane now that the litter boxes are separated from the beds by a little tunnel. The frequent buyer program offered on many brands is also extremely helpful if you're a consistent customer. One piece of advice however if your animals only eat one flavor of whatever brand it can sometimes be a good idea to call ahead of time to make sure it is in stock or you may have to buy the largest size available which can be a huge price gap.

Smaller than other chain pet stores but I like that. They had exactly what I was looking for. I had no difficulty using a coupon. We even found some unique birthday presents for our dogs.

Very disappointing experience today. Went in to look at the cats for adoption. There were two younger ones in one cage (a 5 month or so male and a 9 month or so female).. spoke to one employee and she was very nice. Told her I only wanted to get one and other than mentioning that they’d only charge one adoption fee IF I got both, she didn’t say anything about me only wanting ONE. She walked off while I thought about it and another employee in scrubs wandered over. I make a decision to get the little male and ask her about what I need to do and she starts talking about me getting BOTH. No, I can only get one. That’s when she tells me they don’t want to separate them. I’m sad, of course, because now I’m getting NONE. If you are only willing to adopt them out as a SET for some reason, that should be stated UP FRONT and maybe be stated on the cage as well? Sad I didn’t get to adopt today, but greatly annoyed by this. Won’t be returning or recommending this store to anyone.
