I have a toy poodle I had groomed. The coat was not smooth and the top of the head was rough and still curly. I love this store but, questionable about grooming services.

Great service. Friendly. They have several new brands than they did when they first opened for cats so I buy part of my cat's food here now versus online or in Virginia. I am happy we got a Pet Supplies Plus in ECity!

We were in desperate need of some special food for our sweet boy cat. We looked EVERYWHERE when I saw this Pet Supplies Plus had the item in stock and called immediately. The employee who answered the phone was so kind and verified she had it in stock. I placed an online order yesterday and picked it up tonight. The store is very clean, the employees are nice, knowledgeable and super helpful. There was even a super cute Thank You card attached to our bag! This place is fantastic!

I love Pet Supplies Plus!! They send regular coupons and give me rewards for purchases. They always have the food/treats that I’m looking for in stock and great customer service. As a bonus, every time I pick up a curbside order they leave me a customized note thanking me for my purchase!

Do not take your dog to pet supply n Elizabeth city! I had to rudest experience withmy dog today. I normally take her there every few months to get her nails done and they’ve always been so nice but today I showed up and the girl was super rude!!! She was disrespectful to me when I was confused about my dogs profile in their system. So I ended up taking her to the vet to get her nails clipped and while I was there, somebody was coming FROM Petsense for emergency vet appointment. I don’t know what that was about but I’m pretty sure we can put the pieces together. ✂️

I love shopping at this store. The employees are so helpful and pleasant to talk to. But I have to give a special plug to Amber, the store manager. She is knowledgeable and so willing to spend time answering questions and helping you. But what makes her even more special is that she hands out Thank You cards to her customers to express appreciation for their business. YOU DON"T SEE THAT ANYWHERE! If you want impeccable customer service, shop with this store.

Some of the sales people make it very difficult to purchase fish. They question the size of your tank, the amount of time you have had it set up ect. It is almost like a fish adoption instead of purchase. They discourage you from making purchases. Most of the staff are friendly and they have a great selection of products. I just had a bad experience in the fish department The sales girl asked the size of my aquarium and I told her. She then asked me how long I had it set up. I had just set it up a week ago and intended to pick out fish today. She said it needed 2 weeks before I could add fish. I told her I would take my chances and she reluctantly agreed to sell me two fish. It took her about five minutes to catch them. I suppose she was hoping they would escape? I told her I would like to purchase some plants and she said I could not because the tank was being treated for ick. It was like she really didn't want to sell me anything. It definitely wasn't a pleasant experience but I do have to say, the next time I go in, if she is in the fish section I will ask for someone else. I am sure it was her and not the store. She would make a great employee for the spca. She did everything but ask for references and request a home visit.

We have a dog and pet rats and Pet Supplies Plus always has something for them all. I have yet to have any issues with any services they provide that I have tried or signed up for. I do wish they carried some smaller sized bags of certain dog foods as we only have the one dog and she's very small. Otherwise we always love shopping here.

Staff is friendly, helpful, and very informative. Store is clean and well stocked. Great prices, deals, and selections. Wide variety of pets covered at this store. Self service pet wash is clean and very nice to use. Staff also has helped me carry items to my vehicle during different visits. All live animals are very well taken care of. Great store and the perfect addition to Elizabeth City.

I took my fur baby here to help her build social skills and of course get food. The workers were so kind to my baby and were so helpful with any questions I had. My baby picked her own toy and had a blast meeting new people. She even showed off that she knew how to speak the workers loved that. They made sure to ask if they could pet her and other customers asked the same everyone was very kind and respectful.

I love going into that store! I take my poodle, Dallas to get groomed by April, who he adores. She also takes care of my grand pup, Teddy, and god dog, RJ, and we are always happy. The manager welcomes us by name and I love that. The staff is always so friendly! There are constant discounts and coupons that keep prices reasonable!

This is our go to place in Elizabeth City for our pets' needs. They carry national brands,like Blue Buffalo, for cats and dogs to treats and toys. Also they carry fish food for both aquarium and ponds. They also offer grooming as well as a self-serve grooming area which is not offered in alot of other pet supply stores. The only drawback is that it is smaller than some of their competitors in the Hampton Roads area which is why they got a 4 star. Otherwise the staff is always friendly whenever we come in for our pets.

We came to purchase a bird they had. The lady was obviously attached to this bird. When we asked about him, you could tell she became flustered. She told us point blank she wasn't letting him go with just anyone, that if we wanted him we had to buy the cage they had in the back for $600. We asked about the cage that was for sale on the shelf that even said it was ok for that type of bird and she told us no. If I'm willing to pay $750 for a bird, do you think im not going to take care of it? We ended up going to Pet paradise in VA. Highly recommend. Better attitudes and very helpful.

This is the best pet store we have in our small little part of Eastern North Carolina. The couple that runs it are amazingly helpful they get in what you need if they don't have it but most likely they do have it they actually sell real pets. We have some pet stores who don't. I like pet supplies plus this is always a smile waiting for me. And super extra clean. Being a small town area we lose a lot of businesses but I hope by rating this store they get lots of foot traffic they deserve it. Like I said if they don't have it they can get it in for you but they have an extremely large selection and the service was great. I hope they're here for a very very long time.
