I can not express my gratitude towards this absolutely lovely place. I have special needs dogs and they really delivered the extra care for them. Each person I have met there has bent over backwards to make sure our dogs were taken care of and had the best experience. I would highly recommend if you have not tried them out for your boarding needs, then do so! My dogs stayed in large suite and they really were the happiest I have seen them when I picked them up. It was so much better than traveling with them. I will be using their services again. So impressed by the expert care here! Kudos Eastern Pet Company! You guys deliver the quality service of a home away from home! Thank you so much! I think Charlie, Baby Girl and Little Man actually miss these guys today after I picked them up yesterday. They have been pouting a bit. I’ll be getting rid of my Chewy subscription to support this facility from here on out. Elizabeth City needs these guys to stay in service for the long haul!

I love how much Clay and the girls love my Pungo (aka Turkey Man). I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving my baby while I’m away than with this crew. Wonderful place! Our English Bulldog, Ollie and our cat, PhoebeAnne stayed for 5 days. The facility is immaculate. The staff is so nice. I highly recommend Eastern Pet! We picked up two happy and stress free fur babies!! ❤❤❤

They are the only pet store around that has high quality toys that my dog doesn't destroy in five minutes. They are also the only place I could find that has waterproof leashes. They have so many treats and dog food to choose from. I wish I knew about this store sooner!

Service is always personable; the staff are knowledgeable and exceedingly friendly. The owner is the son of the great Dr. Cooper who imparted his love of animals to his sons. First time boarding my dog here. I called about availability last minute; the young lady who answered the phone was knowledgeable and invited me in to look at the rooms which were nice sized. I was able to view the outdoor fenced in play/bathroom area. The inside of the building was neat, clean, and smelled like potpourri. You couldnt even tell there were animals in that building. Then she contacted the vet I use to verify the vaccinations and my baby was boarded Thur thru Mon. They said my baby did good. I will use them again!

We needed prescription food for our dog. I walked in and was immediately taken care of. The associate was so kind and helpful. As a sweet bonus they gave us a sample of the treats corresponding with the prescription line we were picking up. They had a variety of harness types, treats, foods, and toys.

This review is for the grooming team. I was under the impression this was a reputable groomer. Unfortunately I learned otherwise the hard way. Took my Labradoodle in for grooming, it had been awhile since she had been to the groomer and she had a few area with some matting, but nothing a good groomer couldn’t handle. When my daughter showed up to pick up our dog it was totally shaved. It’s October!! It gets better the groomer, Alley, took the area between the dogs eyes to bare skin. Who does this? When the dog got home she tracked blood through the house. After further investigation all of our dogs back nails had been trimmed into the quick and two of them started bleeding again. I went back to discuss why my dog was groomed the way she was and it was excuse after excuse. A good groomer would have tried to do everything but shave a dog going into winter, not here. This experience suggests they just do the fastest/easiest thing possible and move on with no remorse for there actions or what they do to your dog. This is unfortunate because I like the retail side and the staff that runs the retail are great. I will be using a different groomer for sure. With regards to shopping on the retail side, we’ll see

The young lady in grooming (Allied I think) did such an amazing job with Brutus. He gets really upset but she handled him with such care & put him at ease. Wish I could find more groomers like her. She really cares & it shows. Stop in & see her, Brutus & Rosie both love her & we were only here for a few months
