I really like this Aldi. Lots of organic and keto options, shelves generally well stocked, and of course the prices are unbeatable for most items. The only items that were not good were the eggs (more like medium than large) and the avocados in the bag. They never ripened. I like their bag policy of selling paper bags (no plastic) or bring your own. I wish all stores would do this. Also, don't forget your quarter if you need a cart. Keeps the parking lot free of carts since you get your quarter back if you return it.

I have been in here twice around the time they first opened months ago. I am not a fan having to put a quarter in the cart to get a cart concept or having to get it back ...nor a fan of having to bring my own bags to shop here or buy their bags. I do not like how they tend to put everything in the top when you checkout where children usually sit because most of the groceries fall into the big part of the cart - annoying. They had some decent things and I did buy some stuff to try out but I did not like this place nor its products enough to go back again and deal with the cart and checkout process. Some of their prices are cheaper than Wal-Mart, some are the same. I price checked stuff when I was walking around the store on my 2nd visit when I got bored when I drove a relative to the store.

This store Aldi has been in Elizabeth City for over a year and this is my first time shopping there.....Oh Boy!!...I am so amazed!! The vegetables, the fruits, the meats, the dairy, need I go on!! I'm hooked!❤❤ On my way to a healthier, ME!!

I have not expected to see an Aldi in EC. I grew up in Europe so i am used to this kind of store. Prices are good, so is the quality of their products. Most of them at least, the produce section sometimes winds up with some old stuff. The imported items are the best though, don't have to go to a specialty store to get real chocolate, rather then brown painted led with sugar or bread that feels and tastes like a wet sponge.

Best Aldi I’ve ever been to !!#1 customer service, I shop at all the grocery stores in EC and this store is by far the best not only with customer service but with prices!! The speedy check out make me choose Aldi over Walmart any day, even with one cashier. When the line gets backed up you see another associate come out to grab back up and the line is no longer backed up.The food is interesting you never know what you may find amd the food is pretty good compared to national brands or even better and I love that they take EBT. I use to buy my groceries from Walmart but now I go to Aldi I get more for my money especially having a big family. I enjoy my experience every time I shop in there !!! Thank you ! Also thank you for always having a clean store.

Parked and in 2 minutes my order was received. The associate was so friendly! Bless his heart there were 2 vehicles that were black and that's all they told him. Very quick & thorough. Only took an hour or so to get our order. Awesome service!

For most of their stuff they are cheaper than the regular grocery store they have all of seasonal stuff that I like to go down and look and see what they have for the most part it's a nice little store you do have to watch because sometimes you can get some of the things cheaper somewhere else

We love Aldi!! Shop there weekly and usually find everything we need. Some of their brand snacks and cereals aren't that great but so far everything else has been! Eggs are always cheap and fresh and the bread selection is great. Produce is hit or miss but usually just fine!

Their frozen foods are the best. Especially the seafood. Tasty salmon, large scallops, really good frozen crab cakes. I eat a plant based diet with seafood. So I appreciate the fair pricing of the seafood. The produce is an excellent value....If you cook it with a couple of days. You have to watch expiration dates. I don't eat dairy, bread or sweets. ... .but the pricing for those items can't be beat!Is the only grocery store I shop. Easy in, easy out. ....

Great prices. Almost everything is cheaper here with the same quality. Meat was comparable to other stores but everything else seemed to be a better deal. Will be going back alot!
