I shop Rose's frequently. I love their prices and the quality of the goods that are sold there. Their people are always willing to assist customers especially the wheelchair bound.

Some of the staff can be friendly. Price okay, some high, some low. Item quality not great, but you get what you pay for. Do not bother going to the restroom. Disgusting. The whole store needs a good cleaning (it is 20 or so years old, and looks like it has not been properly cleaned in that time). Looking for clothing can be frustrating as everything is jumbled together, like items not right next to each other. They did have a good selection of plants, though the cashier fussed at me for their pots leaving dirt in the checkout aisle. The shoe department desperately needed to be stocked. Many items all over the store needed to be tidied.

Only 1 aisle open any time of day. The cashier is the same one who never says the price total nor says thank you. Other employees and managers will be standing around and see the line is long and will not open a new lane. There is a lot of variety in the store and the prices are very reasonable, but for lack of friendliness and employees not being available and having a nonchalant attitude I gave it one star. The one in Elizabeth City has friendlier employees.

Terrible management. Oatmeal come with extra protein, MITES. The only fringe benefit offered in the bathroom is maybe cold water, toilet paper and paper towels too expensive for roses. Some people do not wash hand after even dropping some logs, then they will handle the door handle you will have to use to get out... I asked the "district manager" to place something on the door to prevent us, the customers, from touching the door handle with our hands or provide some paper towels to prevent cross contamination, she said, people throw them in toilet, so, paper towels are out of the question. Foot door opener? forget about it. Don't even try bringing anything up to the store manager, she looks sad and will look at you as if your're speaking Greek, she has a personality of a 2x4.I try to minimize my visit to roses as much as I can.

Staff is VERY unfriendly. I do not believe that I have been to a Roses store in many years that had good customer service. I guess it is not a priority for this chain of stores any longer. The one thing I like is they have decent prices on what the carry in stock.

working for them was not pleasant, the managers were very rude and disrespectful, my training was never completed I had to learn on my own, they were very sneaky about everything, following you through out the store to the rest room and on your break, pay was low, and they talked to customers and employees any kind of way, and there was a lack of communication and work ability.. Never again will I work for them!

I enjoyed my visit to the store I always find a deal. I have 5 kids that I shop for when I'm in there as well as myself and we always are able to come up with something that we need. Thanks Ross you rock!

Not much selection at all. Almost no employees around to assist with anything. Place is always a mess littered with junk. Dont bother going here if you want anything of quality. Honestly how this place remains open is a mystery to me.

I like Roses because some items are cheaper than Walmart. You can go in there and grab what you need and be check out quick. Customer service is great.
