My family and I are getting a baby cockatiel from Feathers 'N Fur. We visited my birdie and got to love on her. We can call and get updates anytime we want to and visit with her throughout the waiting period. Extremely nice and knowledgeable staff. We got the best bird food and snacks at great prices! Absolutely LOVE the store! Can't wait to bring our baby home in a few weeks!!!!

Came in with my daughter to get a fish. Explained what we wanted, how much we wanted to spend. They were very knowledgeable, they had a good selection, and they set me up with what we needed. I will be shopping there again and would highly recommend it to others.

I went in looking for live feeders for my bearded dragon and I was pleasantly surprised. They have everything I need to care for my beardie. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Happy to find a place like this so close to home.

We drove past and my boys saw a bird in the window and wanted to go in. Before the door even opened, the smell was strong and the boys were asking why it smelled so bad. The birds were very entertaining but most were missing the majority of their feathers. Yes, I do know molting is normal. The amount of animal feces everywhere was unbearable. Looked to have been weeks since there was a good cleaning. Food and water dishes were even filthy. Could barely see the fish through the algae in the tanks. Had to explain to my boys why it was so nasty. As a pet owner, I am appalled. I don’t care how nice the owners may be, they are in way over their heads. I am not a germ phobe but sanitized my entire family’s hands upon leaving despite not really touching anything.

Very great locally owned and run business to shop at. They will not hesitate to assist you in any way, shape, or form and do not treat you like some number, but care about your furry and feathery friends needs just as much as you do

I wouldn't recommend stepping into this depressing place. The (I presume) owner refused to wear a mask. So, if you want to contract Covid-19, maybe this is the place for you. The store is dark, cramped, and filthy. The owner has as much of an aversion to cleanliness as she does to wearing a mask. The animals there are stressed and clearly suffering. It seems exactly like one of those places that started as a rehabilitation center for birds, but has sadly drifted into being an excuse for animal hoarding. The cages have been neglected so long that the grime is probably older than every animal in the store. It is an embarrassment that a pet store can be this horrible, but I doubt we saw everything that is wrong there. Only the lovebirds were for sale, while the other 15+ were obviously victims of hoarding. The bird we got felt less like adopting a pet, and more like a rescue mission. I have no doubt he would have died filthy, stressed, and miserable if we hadn't gotten him out when we did. Places like this shouldn't legally exist.

They are a little high on some prices, but they have alot of stuff that you can't get anywhere else in Eden, NC. They have fish, rabbits, birds, mice, all types of critters. & They also have very beautiful odds and in's.. It's a very awesome pet store, & I'm so grateful to have a pet store in Eden! My husband and I always had to go to Danville just to get filters for our fish aquarium! & are very appreciative to be able to get what we need without having to go out of town!

What an amazing place. Full of wonderful birds that have been rescued from abusive or neglected situations. Some are shyer than others but for the most part. They are energetic and are healthy despite where they came from.

Everyone here is so sweet and friendly and the animals I've gotten have always been healthy and happy. Always do your research on a pet before buying one, of course, but they can help with the basic information you'll need and have so much to help you out.Edit: Last time I visited there were quite a few co-habitated enclosures for bearded dragons and they had lost parts of their tails, from which I can only assume from fighting since beardies can get aggressive with others (which is why it is not reccomended to co-hab them) other than that they seemed in a healthy condition but that is definitely not the best thing in the world. I'm not deducting more than 1 star as for all I know they could be past injuries from before they had them since I don't know how they acquire their animals, but definitely something that caught my attention quite quickly.

We met Jennifer up here in oak level Virginia..... Have not had a chance to get down to her "new " shop......sure wish she hadn't moves so far away!!! We got all of our gerbils... Food....toys....houses....you name it...she has it! And if she doesn't.....she will do her very best to find whatever you need!! I'd like to give back some of these aquariums we aren't using anymore.... I'm sure she would make some child happy....many parents can afford the pet....and food....but cages/houses are expensive!!! Hope to get down to see Jennifer....oh....and also her beautiful birds!!!

They have a great attitude and great prices considering they could charge more because their competition is so far away. The Chamber fish, "Fred" is from there. He is healthy, happy and gets all of his supplies from Feathers 'N Fur. We are lucky to have them in Eden.

You can smell a really bad odor from the nasty bird cages. Most of the birds are losing their feathers due to stress and nasty cages. I have been in this store many time and it was not like it was this time. I had to leave due to the odor. I just couldnt belive how much it has gone down. It will be a long while before I go back.
