We have been taking our dog to this Woof Gang location for about a year and a half now, and every two weeks for the last 8 months as a diet change caused him to develop extremely dry skin (we have since reverted his diet back to his original food, but have kept the biweekly grooms per vet recommendation). This means our dog has been groomed here almost 30 times. We bring our own oatmeal shampoo and almost always add on a tooth brushing. He is an 80-lb golden retriever and excitable, despite technically being a senior at this point.In summary, this is an XL double-coated dog, with skin issues, who is rather high-energy and goes to the groomer very often. His grooms can take up to 4 hours.Even with all that, over the last 1.5 years, we have been completely satisfied with how Woof Gang has taken care of him. Beth has groomed him from day 1 and at this point, he probably loves her more than anyone else in the world. She always takes the time after appointments to give any relevant updates on his skin, ears, and behavior, and her outline trims are just gorgeous. It truly means the world to us that she goes that extra mile. Jason at the front desk has handled our many and varied requests like a pro, and he also has our deepest gratitude for always checking with us about our next appointment, and calling when it's time for pickup. He, too, has demonstrated real care for us and has made us feel welcomed and valued.And, naturally, we've never had major issues with fleas, nicks, opaque pricing, etc. with Woof Gang Durham. They have treated us and our dog with utmost care, at an extremely fair price point for the area. Beth's grooming skills are top-notch and we consider ourselves lucky to be her clients. Jason is not only super friendly and warm, but also very on top of scheduling and clarifying grooming options.We have become regulars for a reason. We have only good things to say about this salon and have happily recommended them to many of our friends & neighbors. Photos are of our dog fresh after a full groom & outline trim.One last point: a vast majority of the one- and two-star reviews are for customer service from the front desk. The main question at a dog grooming salon is whether they properly groomed your dog. It is misleading to deduct four stars from a dog grooming salon for not receiving a "hello" upon walk-in.

We could not have had a better experience! Received the absolute best customer service upon entering the store, our groomer excitedly greeted our pup and made us feel very comfortable leaving him with her, and the pricing was reasonable especially for the high quality of the groom. Highly recommend!

I patronized this business with my dog. There was no other patrons in store, the clerk barely looked up from their computer to greet me. As we perused the store, the clerk continued her intent computer gazing. I had to ask about the grooming services, even then I'm handed a laminated sheet with pricing...again no conversation. I asked about the treats for sale, again minimal response. Against my better judgement I purchased a few treats. The clerk never once acknowledged my dog, even as my dog tried to be friendly. Usually businesses that cater to pets are more welcoming. I won't patronize this shop again.

Did I come at a bad time? (took a visit at 1pm) As much as they try to hide the poor reviews in regards to their customer service how hard is it to greet with a warm hello “if you need anything don’t be afraid to ask questions” and “have a great evening” You enter the shop and you’d think they closed the store with the lights on with the way it’s dead inside. Receptionist/retail associate doesn’t even look like they want to be there. I don’t understand why not, pretty pink walls with aesthetics that are there, but the attitude of the associate is another story. News flash job applications are always available but will Woof Gang Durham be if they keep this up? Too many other grooming stores and places where AFFORDABLE dog treats exist in this economy to bypass this nightmare. Save yourself the trouble! Employees leaving false reviews to revive the hope just shameful!

website says dogs take 2 hours when it actually takes 4-5. they also just guess a dogs weight for their prices to upcharge instead of weighing them to find out. when we dropped our dog off, he was scared and didn’t want to go. instead of letting me help encourage him into the salon they just dragged him back whining. cut is mediocre at best with a number of hack jobs.

Took my roommate's pom-chi in for a walk-in nail trim. Only $15 for the dremel, friendly service and we were in and out in about 7 minutes! 10/10, will be back again

I was very satisfied with their service. They did such a good job with my pet. Haley was so sweet, kind and humble with my pet. It is so hard to find a good grooming place where you can trust your pet with someone but when haley came to pick my pet up to take her for grooming she had already made that trust that she will take care of my pet like it’s is her baby. I would recommend to go to only this place than any other grooming place. They are very booked and busy but it is worth it to wait.

Went here to grab some treats with my dog and the girl behind the counter didn’t even look up the entire time we were in the store. My dog walked right up to her to say hi and she looked at him but then went right back to staring at the computer. Left without buying anything, there’s plenty of pet stores in the area with friendly staff.

I was looking for treats that were recommended to me from a friend who loves the Woof Gang Durham store and had started grooming their dog there about two months ago. Always raving about their treats and toys, & friendly staff in person and over the phone. I didn’t even know they had a Durham store. Im aware of the Brier Creek shops so I decided to check this one out confident in my friend’s recommendation..Im not sure if I was a bother or nuisance but the lady at the front desk could care less to greet me or ask if I needed any help despite such a visually appealing store her demeanor was rather a contrast or sore thumb to it, and her nose was in a book not even acknowledging me the entire time I was there. The friendly staff my friend had encounters with for her appointments and shopping trips was clearly not the girl I saw a few days ago. Left such a bad taste in my mouth I did not even feel comfortable asking for help. Thankfully Brier Creek/Raleigh has multiple locations.

My dog Coco had an appointment today at 1030a and due to the thunderstorm and flood warnings I showed up at our appointment 17 minutes late. The groomer refused to still take her despite explaining how the extreme weather affected my arrival time. She was completely dismissive to the adverse weather that's currently occurring and I basically wasted my time driving tho this appointment.

It took us a long time to find a groomer we liked, who listened to what we were looking for and gave a great result. Thank God, we finally found them! Unsure of spelling, but Haley is fantastic! Give them a shot, and good selection of special treats while you wait.
