I have and will continue to recommend Westside Animal to anyone who needs a great vet practice, as I have for years. Our recent experience of caring for our 13-year old cat after a diagnosis of aggressive cancer was made far easier by the everyone at Westside. We were informed honestly, guided compassionately, and understood at each stage. It will take time for our hearts to mend, but we are so grateful to the vets, techs, receptionists - everyone at Westside. Attached is a drawing my son made the evening before our Mr. Bean was scheduled to be "let go." I think he was able to fully experience the impending loss because he had the support of Westside.

Just moved to the area and had to get my pet Charlie in for a quick update before going to the groomers. They were able to fit me in right away, spoiled my pup and made sure he had a good experience at the vet. They were very thorough and you can tell that they really care about your pet. My DJ had a lump. I called and was given an appointment the next morning. I'm in NJ, so I asked my sister to take him. Long story short she was late and they still accommodated him because he was their patient. DJ is my child, not by blood but by love. I forgot to mention that's he's never been in a cage. They did everything to accommodate him (plush flooring, snacks and water). The vet called me, she was very compassionate and understanding. They will never know how much I truly appreciate everyone here.

The compassion for us as we had to say goodbye to our cat, was beyond appreciated. We weren’t rushed, they let us take our time, and treated our sick cat (who is no fan of strangers) as if he was their own. It was an extremely hard day, but the compassion shown by the tech and vet were amazing. Can’t thank them enough for being there for us.

The vet themselves had fantastic “bedside manner”, was thorough in their explanation, answered a ton of questions, and was super patient with my questions. Garrett and the reception staff were likewise very accommodating and kind. I appreciate every person I met here today.

So friendly and kind, Dr Grossi and his wonderful assistant took their time with each of my beloved kitties. Their gentle touch and appreciation of my cats’ unique personalities was special. Also considerate of my budget for their meds, they helped me get the best price for everything. A breath of fresh air, yet old school!

Everyone at Westside was truly amazing. I was referred by a friend after my dog become really sick suddenly and we were in between veterinarians. I was afraid we wouldn’t get an appointment on short notice, but we did. They let me bring my dog in that day and treated her well, explaining every step of her treatment plan. Crisis averted, and she is doing really well. This will now be my vet. It’s so nice to know your pet is being well cared for and treated with the same love and respect the staff would have for their own animals. Vet bills can be expensive, so it was also appreciated how transparent they were about the true cost of care. I’m just really grateful for their help and professionalism.

After years of being a customer, I never thought I had to write this review. I always had good experiences with the care of this animal hospital. I don't know if management has changed; but they have become extremely greedy, appointments are not about the pet or the customer anymore, they have became focused in just the money they can get out of you. I won't be supporting a clinic that cares more about how much can they get out of your pockets than the well being of their customers and animals.

Westside Animal Hospital's staff and trio of DVMs are some of the absolute best in the Triangle. Caring, compassionate, and extremely knowledgable, from their treatment of the bumps and scrapes of everyday life to regular, routine maintenance care and beyond is second to none. My five year old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Trajan, has been going to Westside for his entire life and has a wonderful relationship with the veterinarians and they know him well. This team really goes the extra mile to take care of the animals they see, listen to their human family members' concerns, and recommend the best course(s) of action for any given situation. I cannot recommend Westside Animal Hospital highly enough to anyone in the area looking for a vet!

The doctor was kind, concerned, sympathetic, knowledgeable, classy and caring to my cat and me. He didn't rush me and answered all questions. The assistant was just as caring , and knowledgeable to my cat and me. The front desk are kind and answer all questions , and the whole staff also made me feel welcome. My family started with Westside AnimalHospital 40 years ago when we got out first family dog. When I moved back to Durham and got my first dog, I knew exactly where I was going for his care. My Labrador Retriever absolutely LOVES going to Westside Animal Hospital - all of the staff are wonderful with him, know him on sight and have been amazing with their information, options and care. I find them extremely reasonably priced, also make sure to offer rebates, etc. and are respectful of my decisions on options for his care. I recommend them to anyone looking for pet care!

I trust Westside Animal Hospital explicitly with the care of my dogs. No matter what I need to help my animals the staff and especially Dr.Williams are always there to help me. Even when urgent situations arise I can always get my dog help. The price of care is very reasonable and always transparent so I can make treatment decisions easily. The techs and admin staff are always pleasant and helpful. Denise can handle my difficult Yorkie-Poo with ease and compassion. I have been a dog owner for over 45 years and feel Westside is the best animal practice around. Hands down!My first visit to Westside. Dr. Mayer and Allison helped evaluate my Yorkie-poo. What a tremendous team. Genuine, thoughtful professionals who really take interest in your pet. They gave my dog an extensive evaluation and then talked to me at length about planning, treatment and costs. Very reasonable prices too. I’ve had dogs for 57 years and been to a number of vet offices but this practice is hands down the best. The professionals here really take pride in their practice.Ongoing comments: Westside is the best veterinarian practice I’ve taken my animals in 50 years. Very caring veterinarians and technicians and thoughtful of clients pocketbooks. They work with the client on treatment plans and staging so it is good for our pets and us as paying consumers. They are always happy to help work sick animals in which saves us from going to emergency vet. Can’t say enough good about Westside.

My dog, Sadie, was having diarrhea for 5 days and my vet could not get her in to see them. I called Westside Animal Hospital, they had an appointment the next day. We went in for the visit. walked into the treatment room and there was a couch! Which Sadie promptly made herself comfortable on! Sadie is a very nervous dog and the vet techs and doctor were absolutely wonderful with her. I’m very glad we made the switch to Westside Animal Hospital.

Meeting Dr. Jessica, and her assistant Kaitlin, at Westside Animal Hospital was a genuinely positive experience, both for me and my cat. I needed a second opinion for Jagger, and I am so happy that I choose WAH, which right away became my pets’ primary care givers. Dr. Jessica and Kaitlin took such great care of my cat, and gave him a thorough examination, which they then explained and documented in detail. Jagger loved them, and I highly recommend them :-)

A small, local NW vet clinic that has been so good to us and our two dogs. They are always excited and loving towards our animals, and jump to action in an emergency. They have even made very last minute arrangements for early morning visits when our dogs have been very sick. They are aware of and actively take measurements to clean and sanitize their offices, especially during the height of the recent dog flu wave that hit the area this last summer. Highly recommend if you live in the N-NW Durham/Hillsborough area!

Rescued a stray kitten while visiting Durham and they were extremely helpful and also affordable. Baby Eno would not have made it without them. I love this vet and I wish we were local so we could be regulars.
