I have been taking my dog to PetSmart grooming for almost a year! Not only does he come home looking wonderful, but the staff have done such a wonderful job helping him feel less anxious. Over the last few appointments, they have been slowly working with him to help him feel more comfortable with the dryer and clippers. I highly recommend Stephanie and all of the groomers at PetSmart.

This was Rozies 1st visit to the dog salon in this pet smart location. Rozie is a 12 yr old blind Yorkie, and I could tell by her behavior she was comfortable with her new groomer Owen. She is very picky and anxious in new places, especially places that have other animals she can smell, but not see. We've made our next appointment!! Owen is a very good with her sensitive needs. Its a 10/10 win with us.

First time visiting a Pet Smart. Purchased a gift card for a friend who adopted a brand new adorable puppy. Store was well stocked. Staff answered all my questions. Plenty of free parking. Handicapped parking available. Took my time walking around. No one bothered me, no one asked if I needed help.

Justina did an amazing job grooming Maya. This was my first time visiting a grooming salon in Petsmart, as I walked in the staff was very welcoming and helpful. I loved that I can select the services in the app. The check in and check out process was very smooth, loved that I could also go ahead and pay in the app instead of waiting in line at the register. I would definitely visit this location again.

Really, if you want to take your dog for a haircut, I wouldn't advise you to take my dog ​​and they made a mistake in the cut, they left him completely shaved and the best excuse they gave me was that the dog had not obeyed what I told them. I have always taken him to get a haircut and they just said we won't charge you, really don't take your dog to this store

I went to petsmart yesterday and interacted with two extremely helpful and nice employees. Thank you, Jordan, and Lilli for all of your help! I named the bird Mango and he has a great home now! If I could post a picture of him and his new condo, I would. But, the website will not allow me to do so!! Awesome asset to your business, Jordan and Lili. Thanks!And, Brittany is the best part of Petsmart! She goes above and beyond for her customers and has gone out of her way time and time again to help me! Cameron in the grooming department is one of the most nicest groomers at this location. He allowed my dog to come in and get a quick nail trim. He was super gentle with my dog Maui! Thank you Cameron, you’re thee best! Maui was super happy with his nail trim!

I brought my foster, who I will be adopting, up to get a few things of his own and a new harness. I loved that he was able to pick out his own toys and that the staff was wonderful in meeting him. One of the trainers, Ezra, got down on the floor with him and played. Such a wonderful staff!

PetSmart in Durham NC is a terrible place to take your fur buddy to, they turn me away on such a small issue, my german shepherd is the most lovable and gentle a person could want, very disappointed on the person in charge of the grooming department, won't ever go there for any of my pet needs again....

My husband and i brought our dogs in for nail trims. I requested one of our dogs to be brushed but the lady told me no, that we should just blow her out instead with a blow dryer at our own home.....I asked for them to use the furminator brush because my dog has a double coat and she was shedding. I have brought my dogs in multiple times to this grooming place and have never been told no for my dog to be brushed. So unfortunate but I will probably not be coming back. 😕

Very disappointed today when bringing my collie in for a bath & brush. I was told because my dog had some mats I would need to reschedule for a bath and haircut but of course nothing available today. Apparently their staff is not allowed to handle mats. Two things, most dogs coming in for a groom have a few mats- at least long hair dogs do and secondly no where on their grooming site do they specifically say if your dog has mats please sign up for a haircut. Had I known I would not have wasted my time. The reviews I’ve seen don’t speak well of their haircuts which is of concern since collies’ outer coats are permanent and should not be cut or shaved. I genuinely did not feel comfortable scheduling a haircut for my dog at Petsmart and will seek a true professional groomer elsewhere. (which I have already found!).

Brought my dog Nova in for a walk in nail/face trim (I had to schedule day before anyway cause of staffing). Nova was getting snappy with one of the nice gents there, so he called for someome else to try before a bite could occur and Nova would be denied. The lady he called (may have been his supervisor) was wonderful. She got right down on the floor with Nova and started talking to her sweetly and petting her. Nova relented after a few minutes, didn't snap or growl, and the groom was a success. Ive never had Nova act up at a private groomers place but for some reason most PetSmarts make her nervous and unsure. FYI Nova will NOT let strangers pet her otherwise, she was a stray from the streets with an unknown past.I added a pic to show how nice the face trim brought out her beautiful eyes :) lhasa apso/mystery terrier mix maybe.

They advertise walk-in nail trimming services. We showed up and they said they do take walk-ins, “but only if you make an appointment several days in advance,” which is literally the opposite of walk-in services.One star for false advertising.

Picked up an online pre-order for something like fifty Fancy Feasts (not my cat, not usually my problem).Sales associate required a manager to release the cans, and he wanted a picture of ID. Though I can appreciate why the extra measures may exist, it seemed like a bit of a production number for tins of wet meat.Also, for future or unfamiliar visitors, like me, they are all the way at the end of a shopping plaza anchored by a Home Depot. You just gotta trust the address.Nearby: DSW Shoes, Kohl's, a Total Wine (with no "More" section, because it's NC). I also hit the Bed, Bath & Beyond, where there were no other people...until the five seconds before I moved to check out.

I went to the store looking for an specific kind of food to my dog. I couldn't find it in the shelf and Jessica immediately solved my problem she went several times to the back of the store until she found what I was looking for. In my opinion this what costumer services is about. It's clear that Petsmart is committed to providing top-notch service to its customers. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help, and the store is well-stocked with all the supplies you need to keep your furry friends healthy and happy.Overall, I would highly recommend Petsmart to anyone looking for a great pet store experience, and to finish it and a special thank you to Jessica and the rest of the Petsmart team for their exceptional service.

These employees were so helpful, Just got a 2lb puppy and they went out of there way to help, We now have a Vet for our new lil angel, Thanks ESPECIALLY TO Ms. Elia She went above& beyond to help us, I was extremely upset, crying, so worried about my new puppy and she made sure my lil angel (our puppy)was ok and I was ok also before we left, IM EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH ALL EMPLOYEES THEY ARE SO HELPFUL AND CARING , We will be back for absolutely everything, THANKS SO MUCH 🌹

BEWARE of the inexperienced groomers here!!! I had never taken my dog to the groomers his whole 6 years of life but boy did I regret it. My dog (Boston Terrier) received a basic Bath & Brush and it was the worse experience. When I arrived to pick him up from the groomers, I immediately noticed a blood spot on his chest area (size of a 50 cent piece). I asked what happened to my dog and the groomer could not explain why my dog was bleeding. Being that my dog is a short-haired dog there’s nothing to shave especially when the service was a basic Bath and Brush. In addition, my dog nails were barely trimmed and that was the main reason for the appointment. I was highly upset and will NEVER return again!

Rude staff upon arriving. Groomer was upset the breed of my dog was incorrect in their system. Then they refused to cut my dogs hair because he had a couple mats. He’s a dog… and I took him to a groomer because he needed groomed. Have taken same dog with same mats to different pet smarts before and they groomed him. These groomers at this location are incompetent and incapable of doing their job.
