This Petco is generally fine - the usual stock, friendly employees - but I would never under any circumstances buy fish from here. The average big box store isn’t great, but twice now, months apart, we’ve been here and had to step over dead dried (or not yet dry) fish around the tank section. There are long-dead fish in many tanks being cannibalized and the large goldfish tanks need cleaned severely. This seems to be an ongoing pattern here. I might not even risk buying aquatic plants from here with the hygiene levels. Just an FYI. I’m sure the dog food etc is still fine.

As much as I love shopping here and the majority of the staff are amazing! But recently since there’s been a change in management the animals all look so sad. They had 2 pythons in each small cage. The chameleons looked so ill and the guinea pigs don’t have hay at all! Sure it looks clean but the animals don’t look happy and the humidity on most of the reptiles is always so low!

I really appreciated the groomer's attentiveness when I was bringing both of my dogs here. However, for the past year I have been unable to schedule appointments online (despite days being highlighted green indicating availability) and when I've called I can't reach anyone and don't receive call backs from messages left. I've also called general customer service can't get a response either.

This petco is ok if you are looking to buy pet food, bedding, fish etc or if you have a general question such as "how much does this cost" or "do you have this in stock" but if you are looking for anything more detailed than what is written on the packaging then this isn't the place to ask. I asked about turtle care and was given advice that was not only wrong but potentially harmful to a turtle. I asked for a comparison of two different tank filters and the girl said she didn't know. I asked about products to help me train my dog and she wanted to sale me a class but she didn't know of anything in store that would help. Recommended I go to barnes and nobles because they probably have a book on that. It's not a bad place but does not seem to have a very knowledgeable staff.

We brought our dogs in for a routine exam to establish care. The veterinary staff was excellent and took great care of our pups. We are happy with our decision to choose Petco's Vetco Total Care as our veterinary provider. We were so impressed with the staff at Petco that we chose to sign up for private training lessons with the trainer (Jessika) on staff.Update: We have been working with Jessika for a few weeks of training. Jessika is fantastic! She is very helpful and understanding. Our Miniature Schnauzer's behavior has improved so much. We as pet parents have also learned how to train our dogs properly. We highly recommend Jessika for dog training lessons.

Victoria is the best. I am always glad to see her. She helped me clean up a mess my dog made. Dr. Heinz was kind as always and the tech Hailey also took good care of our dog.

Clean well stocked store - wonderful new and unique products at great prices. Super associates - friendly and knowledgeable. AND a dynamite grooming salon (we come EVERY month!) Theo is the best groomer; but everyone in that salon is wonderful. Big Ren LOVES coming to PetCo . All we have to say is "Let's go see Theo" and he's to the car like a shot. Such a great experience for everyone!

Staff is very nice and are always willing to help...when you can find someone. Unfortunately, I think this store has had some staffing issues. There is almost always products left in the walkway for stocking. It would be nice if Petco had a bit 10 dogfood deal like many of the other stores in the area have.

The vet services are aggressive to customers. My family member came in for a $20 procedure for our dog, they pressured her into $400 of unnecessary services. If you are an agreeable person they will take advantage of you.

We take our dog here for grooming. They do a great job!! 😁 Patient, kind, and cheerful groomers. Whether morning or evening or afternoon.Our dog actually enjoys going. She gets so excited and comes out smiling every time.

BEWARE if you are a person of color! The manager threatened to call the police when I remarked that the cashier was taking more time to deal with issues with Employees than actual customers. I will never visit this location again due to the danger of having the police arrive upon check out. Jessica and Nicole are liabilities to the organization and dangers to the community.

If you want to make a return, please note that this is not easy to do. With a large amount you simply will not get your money back. They won’t be able to give cash because they don’t have that amount, but on the card they also can’t give it only in 2 weeks

The 1 star is because I came in this morning to bring my dog to her groomers appointment but the doors weren’t opening, so I saw that there was someone at the front desk of the vet office and so I opened the side door to ask her how I could get inside and she was automatically very rude, she didn’t even give me a chance to ask. I don’t know why people apply at places they don’t enjoy working at.

Plan accordingly: Petco decided that they no longer bathe pets that take anti depressants. I was told not to give the medication the day of grooming and followed those instructions. They still would not bathe my dog.Before this, I recommended them to everyone and anyone - if your dogs don’t take any medication.

Very nice and caring staff, my puppy definitely enjoys Miss Jessika's obedience classes! She's very knowledgeable and has a firm, but loving demeanor when handling the puppies in her class!

This review is specifically for the grooming department. We normally take our dog here and have for years even though they do a mediocre job at best - my dog always comes out traumatized (although she is admittedly a nervous dog), and half the time her haircut is uneven and I have to fix it at home. Still, we kept coming because the location is so convenient to our house. However, now we are unable to make appointments online for some reason, and every time we call, I can't get anyone on the phone to schedule. I left messages with no return call. That's the last straw: I called PetSmart and immediately got someone on the phone and was able to book her appointment with no problems.

We've been using this Petco for grooming needs for our dog for the past 4 years and love the groomers. I am a bit surprised to read some of the negative reviews, because we've had nothing but positive experiences. The staff is pleasant, does a fantastic job, and our dog wags his tail all the way over to the grooming station. The only con is sometimes it takes a bit to hear back from staff if you call and leave a voicemail (but lbh, everything is short staffed these days in retail and need to give these people some grace). Def recommend for all grooming needs!

The service we received was great. The groomer was very knowledgeable about the breed and understood his quirky behavior. She was able to even clean his ears which is something he hates.

Training here is phenomenal. Jessica is an amazing trainer and my dog loved coming here. I think she is one of the country’s top petco dog trainers and she told us she frequently runs national and regional trainings for other dog trainers at petco, which speaks to her level of expertise. This was such a great relief for me as dog training can be expensive and stressful. She helped things very easy and even remembered us when we can back to the store. Sadly I had to move and stopped doing classes with her, but I’d go back in a heartbeat if I could. I’ve also gotten my dog groomed here and felt they did a good job. This is generally a clean and well stocked petco store in a convenient location.

These photos show exactly how this location treats their fish. So many tanks full of dying fish. I was disgusted watching them suffocate. All of these tanks either had finrot, ich, or the cottony growth. Think twice before purchasing fish from this location. Go to a local fish enthusiast store instead of supporting these horrible chains.

After many years of loyalty to Petco grooming, I am taking my business elsewhere. I was just refused service for a dog I have been taking there for many years. The reason was because he has a prescription. That hasn’t changed and has never ever been a problem. We are talking about a bath and nail trim here…. Very strange. If it’s store policy that no dogs that take any medications can be groomed then so be it. But please make your customers aware before they take the time out of their day to drive in for an appointment booked weeks in advance. It would also be nice to be treated with respect and not told to just “skip” the meds on grooming day. I’m no lawyer, but that sounds a bit sketchy to me.

Big box store for pet supplies, great supplies for dog and cat owners. Decent prices, and overall very clean, with well layed out sections to find what you need. Thier exotic animal section is also decently stocked, which is a huge plus for me and my pet snake. On that note, as with everywhere these days with shipping delays, some items do take a while to come back into stock. However, the staff is very helpful in getting items ordered and as well as helping me find alternatives. They have all been friendly and professional in the couple of times I've been to this store. Will be returning here when I need pet supplies in the area.

I've been taking my two dogs to Petco for grooming over the past 7 years ... until yesterday. The grooming staff have routinely moved my appointments around, including changing days and times, and I accepted all changes to be accommodating and a good sport. However, on 7/10/22 I walked in this store with my dog at 12:15pm for my 12pm appt ... and incurred Natasha's wrath. She curtly informed me that I was late for my appointment & they'd have to "reschedule". The irony of their inflexibility not lost on me, I gently explained that I had been accommodating with their many changes, had been a customer for years, and was hoping for some grace. Nope. None. She spoke over the groomer, emasculating him in a demeaning manner and refused to budge.And, to make matters worse, she escalated. Having never seen her before (and hoping not to encounter her again), when I left she cancelled two months of appointments I had made with this particular groomer, with whom I had a 7-year relationship.Was I late for my appointment? Yes, by 15 minutes, however I tried to call them on the way to let them know ... but of course they didn't pick up. Nonetheless, I'm embarrassed for the grooming staff, this store and the Petco brand. This will be a "what not to do" customer-service gone wrong story that I'll repeat time and again in my courses at the business school.

If I could give this store a zero star I would. Horrible customer service. Their prices are double what PetSmart is and not worth it whatsoever ever. I went in for cat litter, the employee Jessica didn’t even tell me the price until right when I tapped my card and yes I should have waited to hear the price but lord was not expecting to pay double. So I ended up returning the cat littler, but when checking my bank account online noticed that the return was coming up as a second charge on my account. I called the store to insure that they actually returned it, but was met with an attitude for even asking. Jessica was the person who answered the phone she would not let me get a word in at all and had a horrible horrible personality. It got to the point that I had to ask her if she could stop talking long enough for me to ask my question and then asked to speak to the manager. At that point She asked for what reason because “the price is the price” and I told her to complain about your attitude at this point and she hung the phone up. NO ONE SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE THIS AT ALL! Needless to say I reported this store and that employee to their corporate office and refuse to ever spend money online or in one of their stores.

Staff at the Vetco clinic were efficient and very helpful. They were all extremely kind and knowledgeable and I'd recommend this clinic to anyone looking for good quality, affordable veterinary care.
