Siara… as a manager you should know better. Let’s coach and train the employees in a better way than lecturing them ON THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF EVERY CUSTOMER WALKING IN AND CHECKING OUT! That poor kid must have been so embarrassed, for probably only $12 an hour not worth it. Siara, you were not discreet, because I could still hear you all the way in the bathroom from where you were standing at self check out, lecturing your employee about leaving the self check out area. From what you were saying It sounded like he was trying to help other areas. Some advice would be have somebody cover the self check out area for 5 to 10 minutes go to an office and talk to him and explain what and why and how that position needs to handle… Do better Siara.This was approximately at 6:30 at night on January 28th

Horrible customer service. I didn't have any issues shopping until having to deal with the check out employees and managers. Employees working the rest of the store were great. I went from having a question, to having more questions and nothing but attitudes from the employees. I guess they expected a problem but instead of communicating an issue with a coupon they were unresponsive and took forever. Turned my great experience into an irritated one. I was going to just put back from issues with coupons (and go back to the harris teeter that I never have an issue with) but then I just returned the whole $196 cart. Ridiculous attitudes. I'll accept I wasted time. Go shopping somewhere else and not returne. Ridiculous attitudes. I really didn't care about coupons.

If you were looking for some of the best pizza in this area, Ramona has got you covered... She makes some awesome pizza and we'll totally hook you up... I like mine thick crust cuz I work hard and burn it off quick... She opens at 11, you can't get a juicier pizza for the price around...

This store is racist and will have police follow you around the store until you swipe your card. It's absurd to be racially profiled and extensively followed as a single black man. The white male police officer with a shaven head is regularly on duty in the evening, and he has followed me three times that I've noticed. When shopping without my fiancée, yes, we look different.During my last solo trip, I could no longer dismiss the prejudiced police officer's eerie presence as mere coincidence. It was evident that he deliberately followed me from the back of the store to the wine section. He didn't even try to be discreet, unlike my past experiences at this store. Instead, he pretended to be busy while I walked down the aisle, reaching for wines at his eye level without actually performing any task. It was a strange and uncomfortable situation. I have never seen police officers on duty in uniform handling merchandise, as if he were a stock clerk for the store.As I moved further away from him, I noticed he was lurking again and getting even closer to where I was browsing produce. I couldn't believe he was following me once more. When I attempted to leave that area, I spotted him again, this time near the flowers. It was clear he was still watching me. I thought maybe it was over when I passed in front of him, but unfortunately, it was not. As I approached the self-checkout, I could feel his presence behind me. He was right there as I chose a register, and he refused to leave until I swiped my card for every item. He just stood there, waiting for me, while on his normal post, he usually did nothing while on the clock.Conversely, my fiancée, who has shopped at this location regularly, has never seen him leave his post. Her experiences have been entirely different from mine. It's disheartening to realize that we are treated so differently based on our appearances.I wish I could have the same positive experience at this store, but I can't bear the discrimination and harassment any longer. I won't be back again. Thankfully, there are other locations nearby that treat me like everyone else, with respect and dignity. They don't let policemen terrorize shoppers who are simply trying to get groceries for their homes. It's time for change and for all stores to uphold principles of equality and fairness for every customer.

Lots of more items that can't be found in Food Lion. I use to do my grocery shopping at Kroger's before Harris Teeters bought them out. Pretty much the same store as Krogers was. I plan on doing more shopping at Harris Teeters now. The check out yourself has more than they should and more cashier. When we are doing the self checkouts, the shoppers are doing a Job for the store and people are losing Jobs. please give more people jobs over checkouts.

Great environment you shop...I actually saw my favorite Champaign there☺️ well, the prices are okay 👍 and customer service was top notch and I liked the discount as per member or whatever it was that reduced my price at check out point. Am just happy 😊

Great place to shop but bought a pizza at their kiosk that they hand make in the store and sell. Pizza look great until I took a piece out of the box and the dough had not been cooked enough and it was all a sloppy mess

All employees I spoke to were helpful and friendly. My cashier Loretta was friendly and courteous. And manager Justin was helpful at the service desk he is great at customer service. I would recommend this Harris teeter to others.

This supermarket is nice and staff are customer-friendly. I really enjoyed doing shopping here. I heard this place is bit expensive than others. But, the items quality is good.

I went in looking for Beyond Meat burgers and gluten free beer (Glutenberg or Green's preferably). Unfortunately, they had neither of those. I was able to walk away with the Impossible Burger and Omission gluten free beer though, so at least I wasn't completely empty-handed.The store was clean and well laid out. And the staff was very helpful, which helped make the experience better, even though they didn't have what I really wanted.

Easy to find things, but still some items are hit-or-miss probably due to CV-19 supply chain issues. One of the biggies that they seem to never have is frozen, raw chicken tenderloins. Staff are friendly and are on a first name basis with some of them. Good customer service.

Love shopping here for unique items I can't find at other grocery stores. They have a wonderful selection of coffee and sometimes I find good deals when I am looking for specific coffee.

The bakery decided not to follow my instructions for a birthday cake for my child. I usually order my birthday cakes at Erwin Mill store, but I decided to give this store a try. Instead of following my instructions, they gave me a basic cake. If you have a vision in mind for your cake order, and you want it done right. Please visit Lisa at the Erwin Mill store location. She is the G.O.A.T! I will never go to another location again!

The Harris Teeter staff was great this morning. So nice and cheerful. Too bad it could not be said for the guy in the Starbucks. Was so rude I just left my iced coffee paid for, but not retrieved.

I was not impressed with this location. All staff seemed lazy and called each other to assist me. Very unprofessional. I've always enjoyed the Harris Teeter in Hampstead due to their professionalism and helpfulness. This is my first time writing a review because I let things go. But, there needs some corporate intervention.

This place seems to have issues with customer service. The pharmacy has very poor customer service skills the very disrespectful and rude. The seafood department representative had the nerve to tell go buy the frozen product even though they had fresh product in case and did not sale it to me. So i went to front cuatomer service desk and ask if they could good get my order and she ( manager)

I will say as a former employee of the Starbucks that the management, team leads and so on are disrespectful and under qualified. For example starbucks managers don't even know how to make a single drink. 10/10 go somewhere else

It's a cute grocery store, but it doesn't have as many options as Publix or Walmart. Good to check it out though.
