We took half of our dinner home in containers to save room for dessert and when I asked Yelp for "frozen custard" in the area, it brought us here on a rainy evening.I had a small vanilla and Mrs. got a small chocolate. "Small" is anything but. I think next time I get the "kiddie" size because this was a lot of custard.Delicious, creamy, perfectly smooth. I should have had a mix-in of some sort to give it some texture but even without, it was a great dessert that we each enjoyed.

Oh my goodness, Goodberry’s!I just had to reach out and tell you how much I absolutely adore your store in Durham! Seriously, you have the most incredible employees ever. Val and Michael are just the best. Val is literally always beaming with a smile and her customer service is out of this world. But the best part? She makes the most divine vanilla concrete I have ever tasted! And get this, she even knows my order without me having to say a word. It’s like she reads my mind!And then there’s Michael. He always has me in stitches with his hilarious jokes. He teases me about having "blinders" on whenever Val is around, but trust me, I notice how amazing the entire team is. This store is hands down the greatest in my book. I’ve worked in customer service for over a decade and have managed teams myself, so I know a good employee when I see one. Val and Michael deserve some serious recognition for their outstanding service, as does your store for setting such high customer service standards.I just had to share how awesome my experience at Goodberry’s has been. Keep up the fantastic work!

First time overall like the flavor very creamy very rich, they have three main flavors chocolate strawberry vanilla but they can mix and fruit that gives it an additional kicked with that kind of dances in your mouth so definitely would recommend

A nice tasty treat and good atmosphere at this location. It is a walk up window with a cute seating area with a fountain. Although they don’t have a broad selection of custard flavors (only chocolate, vanilla, and the flavor of the day) they at least have lots of different toppings for you to make a custom creation.

The “ Vanilla/ Cookies & Cream custard cake” is delicious! I requested a brownie base and a simple whipped cream outline so I could complete the decoration with fresh berries at home. I’d also like to recommend their cookies & cream custard pie which is smaller and equally scrumptious.

Surprisingly delish. But definitely not cheap. We each got a sundae. The pecans were phenomenal and came out to $8+. They have a rotating flavor of the day plus the standards of vanilla and chocolate.

I've been going to Goodberry's in Cary, Raleigh, and Durham for over 20 years and not once have I been disappointed. Their frozen custard is smooth and impossibly creamy. Every day they have vanilla, chocolate, plus one special flavor. Check their website to see what that flavor of the day is. My favorite is pistachio, chock full of salted nuts.You can get cake cones, waffle cones, cups, sundaes, and also a concrete, which is custard blended with toppings. They have all the toppings you'd expect and can recommend combinations.Most times I get chocolate custard in a cake cone, and every time I do I'm surprised by rich, chocolate flavor combined with the amazing texture. Bring the kids, bring your friends, bring your enemies.

This place is very expensive considering what you get. We got ice cream cones, and the serving size was so small. It's been a few years since we had been here, and it'll be a long time before we come back. You get a better deal at Chick-fil-A next door with a milkshake.

Custard was great as always, and the manager made a cooler for me out of plastic bags and ice to bring a couple of quarts home (2.5 hr drive away). Yes, Goodberrys is worth the drive!

Goodberrys is one of my favorite places! I dont live in North Carolina and whenever I come to visit I have to come here. Their frozen custard is like love in a cup, it's so delicious. I really love the vanilla custard with tart cherries. Its creamy and gives it a little zing. I love how you can walk right up and I am able to bring my dog with me. Their flavors of the day are fun and they will give you a sample.

Goodberry's is always a great spot to get some delicious custards. I always get The Truffle sundae and my husband gets a chocolate shake. The custards are always so rich and creamy and any topping you get always compliments it. Can never go wrong getting yourself a cup.

Over all the frozen custard at Goodberrys is great! Though I wouldn't say its hugely different than soft-serve ice cream at them end of the day. If you haven't been everyone should try it at least once in my opinion.

I stopped at the store at 2325 Davis in Cary, NC, both Saturday AND Sunday this weekend. Both times, I ordered a butterscotch malted milk. At the time I placed this order on Saturday, I explained to the employee that I had "long covid" and was still very slow in recovering my senses of taste and smell for 2-1/2 years now. I asked if they could add more than the normal amount of butterscotch. I was VERY pleasantly surprised that the amount they added made the item actually taste VERY delicious to me. They repeated this on my Sunday order, and I was, again, very happy with it. The two employees on both of those days were Mike Judd and LeeCar Garner. I wanted to write to express KUDOS to these two employees. They made my experience an exceptional one. Thank you very much!

Absolutely a delicious treat. I love this place. My favorite is chocolate chip cookie dough and it is the best I have ever had. It's a little pricey but so worth it. There are so many varieties of frozen custard mix-ins you could have a different treat everyday of the month.

Goodberry’s is my all time favorite ice cream/custard place in all of the US. They have some of the most flavorful, fresh ice cream available. They also have a “flavor of the day” which is fun and gives you an excuse to go get ice cream and try something new & different.That said, this specific location leaves a lot to be desired. The staff is typically quite unfriendly and sometimes straight up rude. Additionally, you know those flavors of the day mentioned above? Yeah, well, I’m convinced this location never actually makes those flavors. More times than I care to count, I’ve gone specifically for the flavor listed on the website (very early in the day) only to be told they’re out. It happens more times than to simply consider it a coincidence. Why bother offering a flavor of the day if you’re never going to actually have it available? Finally, be sure to keep an eye on the sanitation rating. It floats anywhere from the upper 80s (GROSS!) to mid 90s depending upon the time of year.Overall, Goodberry’s is the GOAT but like most Durham establishments, this one could use some corporate attention.EDIT: Unfortunately, dropping this location down to 2 stars. Went tonight and was told they were out of vanilla custard??! That’s the main flavor that is included in literally every single one of their sundaes, concretes, etc. that is what they’re know for! That’s like going to McDonalds and them being out of hamburgers. Additionally, they have now hidden their sanitation rating. This has me concerned it continues to be a low rating. I’m also pretty sure it’s illegal to hide your sanitation grade so good job Goodberries. This location continues to fall lower and lower sadly.
