I want to support this store, but multiple times I have visited and they fail to honor their own sale prices. I can understand once, but it happens weekly due to expired signs, computer errors, etc. I’ve taken to photographing sales signs, and showing them to cashiers at the register. Otherwise, I am left standing at customer service, which is often closed, to receive the money that the store inappropriately charged.Like I said, I want to be supportive of this store. People work hard, the renovation looks great, and pricing needs to be accurate.

I haven't been to a Food Lion that I didn't like , or had a bad experience. Clean and ready. Staff is always friendly. Produce is fresh and crisp. Always deals to be had as well

This food lion is a hidden gem. Everyone in the store was friendly and they had everything I wanted in stock. Have you ever gone into a store for one thing and left with a bunch of other things and forgot the thing you went there for? That happened this time except the nice lady ran out to my truck and handed me the Scotts toilet paper that I had paid for and left at the register. My quality of life this week is going to be much better to say the least.

I love this store! The employees are wonderful.Might be a little long but they deserve it. Before the pandemic I had to wear masks for medical reasons and they never made mi feel uncomfortable. I am so thankful. To this day they have always been kind and since I can’t bend over they never make mi feel like I am asking to much. Helping mi to the car and loading groceries for mi is sweet. If you want a store that is clean, products aren’t hidden but well front faced, proper polite employees and kind managers (Ms Karen) and more go here! Like come on. I a stranger whom you never met Dares you to go. Be well all

First time shopping at this location. This Food Lion was one I've never seen before. No junk in the isles, no empty carts laying around, plenty of people working the check out lines, the floor was spotless where you could eat off the floor, the people were extremely friendly and helpful. It was an awesome experience and even though it is a bit out of my way I will definitely go back. The staff and management should be proud of this store.

Update 11/9/18: Nasty, rotten meat being displayed here and not checked by employees before tossing out on the shelf.Staff is good. Bathrooms are clean and the aisles aren't clogged with boxes and shelf items like you find they are at Kroger. I wish the deli here made more food readily available to eat. I always find like 2 or 3 fried chicken platters that had been cooked at more than 5 or 6 hours before - still sitting out. No thanks.

The store associates are generally not friendly, some of them are even rude.I've recently began noticing that products are removed from their boxes and thrown on the floor before put on shelves. Seriously, I've witnessed this several times and can't figure out why the stockers think that customers want to touch packaging that's been on a dirty floor.

Update: 2024: Hard to shop in. Too much daytime stocking being done. Pallets of freight on floor. Two visits within the last week I could not get down an aisle because it was completely blocked. I’ve stopped doing regular shopping there, was just running in for a quick few items. Now I’m not so sure that’s even worth the hassle any longer.Great employees. Produce has gone downhill lately; specifically: baby-cut food lion brand carrots became slimy and rotted before 'best by' date, bag of tangerines went bad not long after purchase, and bananas typically have gone brown within a week of purchase (the entire shelf of bananas being sold today were completely brown spotted).

A great shopping experience. Easy in and out. This establishment is nestled on the outskirts of Durham, close to the Hillsborough county line.I would suggest this location to my mother because of the low crime area and the people's demeanor. Laid back and happy.y

This isn't my usual go to store I just happened to be passing bye and needed a few things for dinner they are going through a remodel so they were out of a lot of the items I needed even the water selection was very scarce I will try them again once the remodel is done

I mistakenly left the one thing I came into the store. I bagged my own grocery and left it at the check out. One of the ladies came out to my car in the rain to give me my items. I so appreciate her kindness. This was superb customer service.

Good employees and management. Great for a non busy stop if you pick your time right. Avoid coming at 5pm because traffic will be difficult. And there are some other shops like Dollar General and Del Rancho (restaurant).

Always bare shelves in different departments, employees blocking aisles with huge flatbed carts loaded with inventory. Courtesy towards customers should be reviewed with employees. And please hire some cashiers with a personality!No. It has not changed. Management needs to be changed, only then will the store change

The service at Food Lion is great and the prices are good. But inflation is killing my wallet and I'm having to buy less food to stay in my budget. Now I'm eating two meals a day instead of three. I've shopped at Food Lion all my life and they are the best grocery store in Durham. The employees always have a smile on their face and are very helpful.

Bad cashier. Threw our food and produce while scanning. never told us our total and got upset when given MVP card and cash. Good products and variety but this particular cashier made this the worst trip ever.

First time visiting this particular Food Lion. It is a hidden treasure. I enjoyed shopping here. All the staff spoke as I walked past them. All the items I needed were there. Store was clean and wasn't crowded. Aisles weren't cluttered. I'll be back.

This store has more customers than other grocery, so the meat turn over is quick. Price is attractive and they recently improved management to reduce error rate. The choice of fresh vegetable is limited, though.

Really like how compact the store is and well-laid out. You can get in and get out really fast. There are some specialty items they don't have, but seem to have most grocery items you typically are looking for during your weekly grocery runs. Prices are noticeably lower than Harris-Teeter.

Some employees are great, while others are lazy, rude and down right animalistic. Yelling at customers across the street, demanding to be spoken to, smoking cigarettes outside the door with their friends. All the while, the hard working employees are inside struggling to get lines down. Teamwork would make a world of difference. I'm sure I'm not the only parent who would also love to see a non smoking policy. I shouldn't have to inhale your cancer right at the entrance.

It was quite busy and they had lines. I thought the cashier I had was quite slow, but there may be a good reason why she was slow. Overall the store was clean and organized with few products out of place from what I saw.

I visit this store because it is the closest to my home, but I only when running out to buy one or two items. I wouldn't shop here regularly. Prices are good, but I just don't think it compares to Harris Teeter or Kroger as far as quality. I don't like the organization of the story. And, it definitely doesn't have the same level of service as Harris Teeter.

Our Neighborhood Food Lion. The full time employees are great. They run a tight ship for the available goods they have. Would love a prettier store but the staff are professional. That is... if they don't start moving them around. Went in yesterday and new check out guy could not look at you or speak so you could hear him. I figure miss Sherri will get him right soon enough.

Friendly. Rarely crowded so check out is fast. Good prices. Store is dated but very clean. Can always park near the door. It's my go to store.
