This is absolutely DISGUSTING!!!!! The produce department even smells from the rotten food!!!! The quality of produce in the "URBAN" Food Lions are disgusting compared to other locations. These tomatoes are MOLDED!!!!!!! I just wanted some Romaine lettuce for a salad. Very Very disappointed! The only reason I gave it a one star is because of the awesome cashier named Steve. He is always willing to help and has a great personality.

I generally like going to Food Lions. I went early, shortly after open. Store was clean and in order. Shelves looked more bare than normal for this chain. Could be any number of reasons. Not that it bothers me, I didn't get one greeting while I was there.

I love this Food Lion but tonight not so much. It is 8:00 and I came in and stood at customer service for over 20 mins to return some defective PopTarts. Noone came over or even spoke to me and said Hey I will be right with you. Do Better Food Lion! I have a life and yes I left the PopTarts on the counter!

Staff likes to watch ppl of color. I saw security following me until I looked at her, and she walked away. So, I guess you have to dress a certain way for grocery stores now.

Nothing but terrible memories. This place has Management sleeping with other Married employees and destroying homes. I still wish them all beautiful sunrises and sunsets. But has destroyed children's lives.

So many expired tags so it made pricing confusing. Price tags were different from the app. But it was clean, easy to find things and easy to checkout. App is just confusing and typing in phone number at checkout never works

I will never visit this location again. I visited this location often because its close to my kids school. But yesterday was it for me. The cashier informed me that my card had no money on it. But my card did have money. Long story short they charged my first card and second card. Its something wrong with the cash register and or the key pad. The same thing happened to a lady in front of me. She also had the same issue as I did. I talked to the manager but she was no help. I refuse to shop at any store willing to steal my money. And for the cashier that tried to embarrasse me nice try buddy.

The young cashiers are not happy. They don’t smile. The shelf stockers are really nice and helpful. The prices are higher at Food Lion. A lot of poor people shop at this location. Armed security doesn’t make me feel safe knowing there are needed.

The manager, Mike is a super person. He works hard. Pleasant and professional and takes time out to listen to the customers. He sets the tone for his staff. He sets a fine example. I've shopped there for six (6) years and he's the best manager thus far. Sending out compliments to Stephanie, Mr. White, I don't see Mr Bailey as much but I miss seeing his face too. Another manager, black female, who's been wearing a leg brace deserves a compliment too. Happy holidays! I want to acknowledge an elderly white Caucasian man who works produce he's a hard worker. And lastly but not least, a latino female who does the stocking she's a hard worker and so is James whenever I see him. As I said the manager sets the tone. He works hard right there with his workers and that's impressive.

Happy this store is in the community. (On the way home) Shelves are stocked well. Clean store and the Staff are pleasant enough 😷. I couldn't hear a smile in their voices if they did speak.

Some people don't like Food Lion I really do cuz they always have what I need whether it's a light bulb or whether it's fruit or whether it's you know evaporated milk or sirloin steak You know they always have whatever I need I've never gone in there I needed oh the only thing they did not have was Manuka honey but I found a local honey that was like molasses honey It was delicious and it wasn't quite as expensive as minooka but it was delicious I appreciate Food Lion.

I always had done my shopping elsewhere but have recently gained a new respect for Food Lion. The 27705 store is clean and the employees are unusually warm, respectful and eager to help. Recently I forgot an item and after returning to the store the cashier approached me, before my asking ,remembered I had left it. It's hard to show kindness behind a mask but somehow I envisioned it anyways with the employees; Just nice people.

I had to adapt when all our local Kroger stores went down for awhile, so I found this Food Lion near my local post office. It's a big store, layed out in that familiar fashion most others of its kind are. This one has a bit more space than some of the others, as I've been able to find some products here that I couldn't at other locations. Anyway, I haven't always been a Food Lion fan. It's probably just being used to Kroger and Harris Teeter. I gotta say, though, they've made some improvements from what I remember. The prices were pretty awesome.When I talk about a store in particular though, its usually that stores uniqueness that even makes a post worth making, so what I'll say is: the staff is cool, helpful, and friendly every single time I've been there at every hour of the day. It's got a good environment. The one thing that stopped it getting 5 stars in terms of Food Lions is the terrible parking lot. The spaces are cramped and no one ever seems to be able to drive correctly over there. That usually tells me its the parking lot layout more than the drivers. The craggy parking lot will definitely shake up your sodas as you push your cart back to the car.

Quick trip to this food lion to pic up a few items, I like this store because I'm familiar with it and I always can find what I need. Inspite of all the rain on today, there were plenty of carts available, and not too much traffic. All grocer items were displayed n an easy to find matter, all they always have specials.

Hadn't been shopping N awhile was supposed 2 pick-up a few things 4 the night did half my list but upon checking out notice the wing bar maybe reopen people I spoke too where charismatic N funny very helpful so I waited just a few minutes very happy 2 see it open unhappy about new price won't get as often as I did B4
