Marcus and Ian were both helpful in finding different things that I needed. Friendly customer service, and the checkout line moved quickly. A+ service today and while they were the only 2 employees there, they efficiently took care of their customers and handled a truck delivery. I was impressed!

This location it shows online that the hours are from 8:00am to 8:00pm, so I drove here the time is 8:36am but the store still is closed.

Friendliest cashier I have ever seen working their, can't remember her name but was getting off the register around 2 or 230 on 9/8/22. Give her a raise and have her train everybody else on customer service.

Lack of care for customers. Female manager is not professional and not equipped to handle issues within the store. This may or may not be her fault. It could be lack of training on upper Management's part. Never had a problem with this location in the past but the atmosphere has definitely changed.

I have visited this store on 4-5 different occasions, all evenings, and both same staff members working, 2 females. Have never been greeted in return despite my saying hello when entering, have never gotten so much as a response when I’ve asked how are you or even a welcome when I’ve said thank you when leaving. Needless to say, I’ve never gotten no where near a thank you. I like the store itself and the products, but there are too many other stores I can shop at and not have to put up with this level of rudeness. I normally don’t even do reviews but after repeatedly experiencing this at every visit I made it a point to do this one.

It's sad to say i will not visit or shop at any Family Dollars moving forward due to the rude customer service I just received at this location. I was at this location this morning on one of my work breaks and had a great experience picking up a few things. I returned when I got off from work to pick up some more items. Passing a few other Family Dollar location through out the Durham area; I decided I will travel to the same location i visit earlier because of the friendly customer service. To enter this location again this evening, wasn't greeted then I asked the female and male staff that was present could I use there public restroom before i wanted to continue shopping on my second list of items, which I have used once before in the past. The female cashier didn't answer as if she didn't know what to say but pointed and looked to a male staff member standing in front of the cash register whom stated "We don't have one". I said, "excuse me; since when" puzzled. With an attitude and very rudely, he said "since now!" rolling his eyes. I stated again, so you telling me you don't have a public restroom when I have used the restroom here once before. He repeated his self again; "Yelp, since now." I asked for his name he said Marcus walking away from me being so unprofessional. I have never experienced such rude, unprofessional service at any Family Dollar location until today. I left the store so disappointed. Before exiting the store, the female cashier said previous customers have left the restroom dirty multiple times and management gets in trouble due to it not staying clean. I informed her as a manager or staff of most businesses, cleaning is a daily task. You shouldn't refuse a customer to use the bathroom just because you don't want to maintain a clean public restroom or so you won't have to reclean it. The store manager wasn't present or they might have lied to me. I'm not sure with the behavior they expressed, how would I know but I called back and got his name. Mr. Chad, I think you might want to have a word with your staff regarding this type of unprofessional conduct. Your staff represent the company, and having individuals as such acting in this matter doesn't look good for your store location or the brand of Family Dollar. I will call to speak with the store manager tomorrow if he is available regarding my visit. I'm a manager myself and have been for sometime now in the retail/customer service industry and will express my concerns. I will also make a call to the Corporate office as well. Evening staff at this location, you must to do better. I will pick to do my shopping else where. Family Dollar you lost a customer.

I worked for this location 4 days part time. The last day I worked was a Saturday for 4 hours. I got another job offer and I texted the manager and let her know. I was expecting to be paid and the payday came and went. I checked my payroll account and it said my account had been deleted. When I texted manager she told me to contact HR. I tried to call the 800 number but was on hold for a long time and never was able to talk to anyone. When I tried to talk to the manager she just kept saying I need to call HR. The fact is the manager deleted my hours for my last day and didn't submit the time I worked. That is stealing pure and simple. Family Dollar owes me $36.

This particular Family Dollar location has an excellent staff, that has never been less than pleasant and cheerful every time that I've gone to this store.The ailse are clean and the merchandise is easy to find. They have a good selection of several different products, which I find to be generally cheaper and price than a pharmacy or box store. The groceries are competitive with local grocery stores with the exception of discounts offered by large chains. Some items I've only ever seen at the Family Dollar. All in all it is an excellent retail experience, especially if you're trying to save a buck.

IT'S well stocked and not junk like most FD. Employees are always Excellent. I hope that this STORE stays this way. It helps with the presents of police officers in the area since the murder at the BP,next door. I'm Glad to Have this Fd to shop.

called to ask a question about radios and just because I asked the guy's name who answered because I didn't hear when he said it, he hung up on me and now won't answer the phone when I call. Dollar general is better. I can't believe that he just hung up on a customer! So rude!

The prices were good with the coupons. Customer service was also great. Employee showed me the app for Family Dollar so I could scan to look for pricing and discounts. Ty😊

Had a bunch of stuff on the cheap for me to stock my new apartment cost effectively. One of the $1 set of ice trays cracked, but overall everything seems good!

Store appears to be in complete disarray. Most of the employees seemed arrogant except for one or two of them. Chad, a cashier, was very courteous and respectful.

Their Apple Pay does not work and all of the employees are super unprofessional, they have no respect for their customers, and after I was trying to check out they kept letting people go in front of me because THEIR Apple Pay was not working, I asked to remove some items from my cart and they refused and just told me to wait until they can fix the problem, the problem was never fixed or soft, and they were arguing back-and-forth with each other and me, do not come here go to a different family dollar or go to Walmart
