This is a hidden gem in Durham, pun intended. The staff are always so knowledgeable and helpful. They understand the strains they offer, and their prices are really good too. I'm not a huge edibles person, but - if I were - this place has a great selection!

My favorite place to buy Delta-8 and 9, hands down. Not even a contest. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The store is nicely laid out and it doesn't have any of that seedy vibe you get at most other stores of their type. Their rewards program is really nice too! I very strongly recommend this place!

I love this place! The staff are sooooo nice and knowledgeable. They were patient and answered all of my questions as I am new to using delta8/9. The shop is clean and organized, and no one pushes you to buy anything. I couldn’t ask for a more positive experience. There are plenty of vegan friendly options and a reward program so be sure to use a phone number to get a few bucks off your next purchase!❤️… To the staff if you read this… don’t change a thing, you guys are awesome!

Being a novice to this, I was made to feel not only welcomed, but educated in a way that was in no way intimidating. It is a rarity these days to find such an exemplary staff; andnot pushy at that. They took the time to listen to my questions and concerns and offered nothing but warmth and understanding to address anything I had to say. Emerald Medicine Company is hands down the best place to purchase hemp products in the entire region. I’ve been to dozens of places between Raleigh and Burlington and no others compare in product quality, prices and customer service. I’ve been helped by Chris, Conner and Trevor (I’m terrible with names, I might have got them all wrong! 😆) They have all been beyond helpful and knowledgeable. I drive almost an hour to purchase from Emerald (30 min past other shops) because they’re that much better. Enough said.Keep up the great work!!

I am a total novice when it comes to these products and Chris spent atleast 20 minutes finding out what I was looking for, explained in detail what I should expect and then led me to the exact experience I wanted. I felt so comfortable with my first visit I went in again today with all the typical novice questions and he spent more time this trip talking me through the different products and I left with 2 new things to try.If you are new to this world I will highly recommend letting Chris be your guide! Apparently, we've all gotten the wonderful Chris treatment. 🤣🤣🤣. All jokes aside, I've been meaning to pop into EMC for a while now and finally made it in yesterday. Though I'm familiar with Delta products, it was great to get a full explanation from someone knowledgeable in the field. Chris guided me through the selection process and made sure all my questions were answered. There's no doubt in my mind that EMC has made a loyal customer out of me. I'll definitely be in more regularly to shop with them.

This is hands-down the best cannabis shop in Durham, probably in the triangle. They stock the best products, including lots of local, small-scale, and organic stuff, and are super knowledgeable and informative about it all. Their selection is unrivaled in the area, their prices are good, and they have a great points reward program that adds up really quickly. Seriously, do yourself a favor and skip the vape and tobacco shop or gas station the next time you want anything cannabis-related, and hit this place up-- you'll end up with higher quality for the same or lower price, and will probably learn about the latest popular cannabinoid and find another fun little product to try. I don't bother going anywhere else anymore.

Coming here to HIGHLY highly recommend the Medterra Joint Support chews that EMC sells. I have a 13 year old baby who has pretty serious arthritis. He's maxed out on daily asprin and the vet said the next step would have to be opioids HOWEVER one of the staff here recommended I try these chews and y'all I wish I could show you the difference. He went from not getting out of his bed to greet me at the do to being able to climb back up on the couch in a matter of about 2-3 weeks on the chews. In a couple days on them he wasn't limping around as badly. If you have an old man or lady pup whose dealing with arthritis pain GET THEM ON THESE! It's made such a world of difference in my old man's quality of life and me and my vet believe it's added a little more time that I get to share with him. As far as the store itself it's clean, well organized, had a wide range of products and everyone in there has been kind and helpful on every visit.

Drove 3hours to check out Emerald Medicine and it couldn't have been more worth it!!! The staff were extremely helpful. After a hectic drive its was refreshing to meet such friendly and welcoming people. They immediately helped me relax and unwind. They were able to help me find the exact products to suit my needs (at a very reasonable price) and showed me how to properly use them. I will most definitely come back next time I'm in Durham.

Very nice store, well organized. The owner is friendly, helpful, and knowedgeable. The CBD products that he recommended have helped me mentally as well as physically in dealing with constant, chronic pain due to osteoarthritis. I feel much better without side effects or decreased functionality.

I have been a few times in the store and the employee (Ryan?) is so helpful in suggesting products to meet my needs. He knows his stuff! My dog is having fewer seizures being on the oil. I've gotten oil to help with my anxiety and it is working well so far.
