Large Dollar Tree store and has more variety and quantity of items than other Dollar Tree stores in the area. However, this store can be quite disorganized and messy depending on when you shop there. Almost all items priced at $1.25 and some up to $5 (special items). Plenty of parking available.

Yes, it’s difficult to navigate (signs don’t match aisle contents), but this is a MASSIVE store with tons of brand name items for just $1.25. Great variety although very low stock (just 3 or 4 for cool items). Today I found amazing Burt’s Bees lipsticks ($8 at any other retailer), hydrogel face masks, and some kind of electric hair curling too (didn’t understand how to use it so I didn’t buy).The staff here is also very nice and helpful! Plenty of staff members working in the store.

Terrible. Rude and angry cashier. Rude employees arguing in front of customers and with customers. Said store was closing in two minutes, as if it was known information they’d be closing early. Closed the store weirdly at an arbitrary minute more than fifteen minutes before the listed closing time. Listed time said 9, they were closing at something like 8:38.

Cashier was very helpful and friendly. I had a return and needed to shop for other items. I left the return up from with her. After I finished shopping I went up front she was not there initially because she was helping with balloons. But when she saw me she promptly came back and continued to assist me without me having to ask. Great customer service.

The staff is always so friendly & helpful! The store is always clean, neat & well stocked. They have such a great variety of items! Every week you just never know what you may find! I love this $ Tree! Definitely check it out if you get a chance! God Bless All!

I walked in with recently purchased items from the store next-door... I asked the cashier if I needed to check them she said no she can watch them. I get back to the register with my items I need to purchase and my bag is missing no one knows where it is. The cashier says she doesn’t know what happened to my belongings, she looks bewildered. The supervisor who comes over is rude and couldn’t care less about my items. She say said they aren’t responsible for any lost or stolen items and I asked her why wasn’t that relayed to to your employee before she accepted responsibility for watching over my stuff. I say hey I need my money or my items...no one knows anything. The supervisor insists on me contacting the manager. I tried to contact the store manager by phone multiple times got no answer from him so I proceeded to email corporate... still have yet to receive an answer. This happened in September..

I love the store. It has more items than other Dollar Trees in the area HOWEVER the assistant manager named TAMISHIA is unprofessional, ill-mannered, and always has a poor disposition. She's not customer service centered and lacks interpersonal communication skills

I needed a few things before the store closed and I wasn't sure if they closed at 8 or 9 due to the coronavirus. I literally called 6 times with no progress. The 1st call, I heard static and no voice and then someone hung up. After that, the phone would ring busy and on my last attempt, I heard the same thing I did on the first call. Even though it's close to my home, I don't like shopping there because of the atmosphere and the attitudes.

This store contains great gifts, home decor items, party accessories, food, & home accessories (kitchen, living room, bathroom, etc). The store is always tidy. The friendly cashiers work incredibly fast in getting clients on to their next destination.

Not all Dollar Trees are created equal. This one in Durham has a large selection and you can find almost anything you can find in a smaller Walmart or Roses. Very spacious and well kept. The workers there are also polite and helpful. Ironically, this is in a more impoverished area of Durham. And these are the areas of cities where they should put more good stores. You wanna eradicate poverty, this would be an effective way.

Although this store had a larger variety than most Dollar Trees, it was a trainwreck. Nothing was organized. Someone had sprayed shaving cream all over the shelves in the beauty section and you can tell it had been there for a while. Unbelievable amount of product on the floor

Charmaine Scott manager was dead pan, no smile, and extremely unfriendly. I asked for number for corporate due to her attitude, and she expressed that my mom and I offended her by not reacting positively to her being rude. Did not give number when requested, just said it's on the receipt. Made a point to say her full name as we left the store. Will never give my business there again. I have to give a rating but it was zero stars for me

Durham Bike Co-op is the place to go if you need your bike repaired. Everybody is very friendly and professional. I enjoyed the hand on repair. I must admit that this is the place to go if you want your bike repaired correctly. Please help Durham Bike Co-op with any donations would be appreciated. They provide bike for the community but you must earn it by building your bike. Check it out for yourself, you will be amazed. Thank you

Four stars because dollar tree has everything... and I mean everything... went in there to get a few items came out with four bags, smh. But if you have an updated store, you can't go wrong. But this store is well stocked... lines are long but it's the village dollar store... nuff said..

The store had just what I needed, just not enough. It was so messy I felt like I was at a rummage sale. Out of 5 Dollar Tree's store in my area family dollar is still better at finding what you need and have the quantity.

Largest Dollar Tree location in Durham...usually the best stocked, too. Anti-theft measures (e.g., shopping carts that can't be taken out of the store) can be a little inconvenient, though.

this location is always tore up and under stocked.Edit Jan 2020:So they have been doing a lot of work to improve this location, but now they have shut down the public restrooms so I still can't recommend this location.

Its Dollar Tree, not expected to be anything terribly clean or nice. That being said this particular one is horribly understaffed and you WILL wait 10-15 minutes to check out. Always.

16 people in line, 1 cashier, when I talk to manager, he didn't seem to care, I left my shopping basket in the line and walked out.Additionally, there was no shopping cart available.
