Before the pandemic I ran in for gift wrap, school supplies, and small garden and hardware items. Clerks have always been nice.Post pandemic they were one of the first stores to have mask and shield protection at check out for employees. Stockers wear mask and step aside to help with distancing.We had 'mandatory mask' for a while and a lady went into store ahead of me without a mask. Clerk was nice about telling her she needed a mask in the store. Said she could not afford one. The black clerk gave the white lady a mask from box behind the counter. Some folks know how to get it right.The whole look of the store has changed. Many people like me make brief trips for essentials. The food cases have more than tripled. Shelf food is everywhere.Someone is thinking. Protection for customers and staff. Stock meets current needs. Staff is there to help.I would like to give a 5 star rating, but store is too small to meet all needs so I have to resort to a bigger store and more time spent, every few weeks.

The customer service at the store sucks every time I come to the store at around five 530 dear always close always close and then if I am lucky to get it there’s nothing stopped on the shelf the customer service has a nasty nasty attitude this place needs to be closed if they’re not going to service the community I don’t understand I’ve never seen a stone says the open from 8 to 9 PM never open

I am always looking for Monster Mean Beans at a good price and they have them for $2.15!!! With that said most locations don't have them in stock, I had already been to multiple stores that didn't have any but this store had more than I wanted to buy. I purchased 10 and their were still plenty left. Thank you Dollar General 😊

Love this place. I always try to come to this one, even if it's out of the way of where I'm going. The staff is excellent and the store is always stocked and clean. The people are always working, doing SOMETHING, when I come in. It's fantastic

Of all the dollar stores in the area, this is my favorite. Why? Because of the staff. They're actually very upbeat, and they know what's in their store. They are as attentive to the register as they can be. If I have to go to a dollar store, this is the one I choose.

The store was a wreck. It was hard to maneuver through the aisles for all the clutter. I was unable to find items that I could normally find. The employee was constantly on her cell phone. I will NOT go back to this store to shop.

Easily accessable. Safe area. I know born and raised in Durham. Conveniently located beside food Lion accessible to gas stations and restaurants very close great atmosphere.

I quite going here a few weeks back I went and the notice the old store manager was not there . I ment the new store manager Brian and I must say definitely will start going back he has that place stocked cleaned and him and the crew are truly grate thank you

I love this place got some killer deals from the app but when i got in store i loaded up on some things for home because of a 3 day sale highly recommend coming in checking the flyers and sale stickers on the shelf who doesn't like saving cash
