I am sitting in the parking lot of this store now and their sign says they close at 9pm. It is 8:14pm and they are CLOSED!! The woman that opened the door was really rude to me. Don’t shop here! If you can’t stay open to the time your sign and website says, close down for business.

Great and friendly owner and staff🤩❤️ One of my regular stores to shop as if it's a mini Walmart. Selling much more cool, nice house stuff if you're into mix of farmhouse and contemporary styles. Good discount sales with rewards if you have DG app.

I really like this specific Dollar General, because the staff is always incredibly friendly. Every time I've gone in here and had a question it was easily answered. No one is attached to your tail end trying to show you a special. It's just simple, great, Bodega style shopping when you're in a hurry with more options.You can find some great bargains here, especially if you sign up for their card/rewards/etc, but they have *plenty* of deals that don't require that. I think that's pretty cool, because you don't want everyone having to spend 10 minutes at the register when they're in a hurry to get your deals. Note: this is not a Dollar Tree, so items vary in price but they have more. They usually have enough supplemental deals for lunch box styles stuff, that you might consider making this your second grocery stop if you're being frugal. No fresh fruit and vegetables though, so you still need to go to the grocery store to find healthier options.Having these guys just down the street from me also sort of replaces Walmart, because typical everyday household items are pretty cheap. Walmart maybe one stop shopping but you also have to walk in entire football field a couple times. This store is the size of a pharmacy, so you can get in and out in no time. It can get congested around 5 p.m. for a little bit but I've never had to wait and much of a line otherwise.Hope this helps anybody reading it! Keep living Durham and have a good one.

I gave them a three star because store was bit of a mess. Even though the employees were stocking the shelves things were just all over the place. This is a small department store as it is but to have it look overcrowded with merchandise on the floor instead of the shelves was just a little messy. The overall service here was ok still an ok place for that quick in and out convenience.

The morning shift is super nice and very helpful!! The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the afternoon shift is very rude. They do not greet and smile . I want to say I feel discriminated because I see them greeting other few customers. One of the night shift guy seen him chill at his car and then when someone is at the register he comes out and help? But what kind of costumer service is that? No wonder there’s nobody at the register every time someone wants to pay! We shouldn’t have to wait so long and they should be at or near their register at all times

A few good employees, most just sit around on their phone or in the car smoking cigarettes. Not sure what changed in the last two months but it seems to be going downhill. More stuff on the floor then ever and only open 8 hours. I’ll switch to the family dollar across the street

Love DG especially the digital coupons you can collect on the website. Easy to use once at the register just type your phone number in there attached to website and viola! It automatically uses them. I also love shopping on Saturdays because they have $5 of 25 it's very useful 🙂

Great Store great people. When u ask for hwlp they get u what need. Always greet you. Clean store. Great parking. Even when lines get long they seem to get people out quick.

I can find so many things I wouldn't expect them to carry. Great place to go for a couple of pick up items rather than wait in long lines at the grocery.

I find more at this store than the larger one on N.Roxboro Rd. The employees always great you verse s the other one! Makes me feel welcomed!

There may be a scarcity of the products well going in looking for. Lines can be long but move quickly. My favorite about any store and especially this one is the kind and willful to help staff.

The layout is a bit different from other Dollar Generals I've been to so I have a harder time finding what I'm looking for. Staff is okay...they could stand to be nicer!
