I actually wouldn’t have even had to have been involved in this transaction and subsequent complaint but here I am. After my husband was on hold for 25 minutes with no employee indication to get an ETA on his time-sensitive prescription, I ended up driving him to the location. I am currently standing in a line of more than 15 people trying to pick up prescriptions from the pharmacy. Not a single step forward has been taken in the last 30 minutes. This is absolutely insane. For a pharmacy closing at 7pm EST, they’re not staffed appropriately or have enough additional support to operate this pharmacy to provide adequate coverage to all patients and patrons. We will be moving all services over to Walgreens after this latest underachieving experience.

Understaffed. Last time I was here, doors were still locked half hour after opening time. Here's a photo of the line mid day on a weekday. Posted pharmacy hours in the store neglect to show lunch hours during which pharmacy is closed. Level of shoplifting at this location makes me think corporate just wants to let it die. Employees usually courteous. This store's failures are due to the larger CVS corporation.

The most unprofessional pharmacy I’ve ever been to. If I could give it a negative 5 stars I would. Didn’t deal with the front but the actual pharmacy is a mess. Everyone is rude to customers, misleading and false information is given by the techs. My Rx was suppose to be ready hours ago. And after waiting 20 minutes in line I was told it wasn’t going to be ready for another hour. They never answer the phone. And that girl with the glasses as the cashier has the nastiest attitude. A pharmacy is a health care facility and should not have people who do not have good customer skills working from them. Do better CVS!!!

They might as well not have a phone listed because they aren’t capable of answering it. I called because the app said I had to in order to my prescription filled. After sitting on hold for 45 minutes I gave up and will be going in person. Do not use this pharmacy! Drive a few more minutes and use one that is an actual functioning business

I don't agree with all the reviews for this pharmacy, but the general sentiment is absolutely on point. I have found the pharmacists to be nice albeit stressed and overworked. It seems like recently they've just got the short end of the stick being very understaffed and dealing with people who direct their frustration at the service they are able to provide at them directly instead of realizing that it isn't their fault.That all being said, CVS as a while has done a horrible job with this location and is really honestly leaving the people who work here out to dry. They deserve better and so does anyone who needs a prescription filled. If you can, avoid filling a prescription here at all costs.

Specifically the pharmacy. They send a notification that your order is ready. When you get there after a long wait in line they ask you to come back in 30 minutes. The attitude and energy is exhausting. I understand if you live close by. The workers look very over worked. I wouldn't send an enemy to them let alone a grandmother.

I've been coming here for years and never had a problem. The last 6 months has been ridiculous. We have an app to refill your prescription. They never get filled always processing. Call in prescription don't get filled. You have to come here wait in line and then they precess your order. They are short and rude. I made a vaccine appointment for my flu and covid buster. They canceled it 30 minutes before my appointment. Didn't realize it until I got there. It's time to transfer. I'm sure they will be happy when there aren't any customers left.

DO NOT GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS FILLED HERE! They used to actually quite good and I would be able to drive up and be on my way in 5 minutes. Then (from what I heard from the staff) two pharmacists quit in the same day about 2 months ago and they never recovered. Extremely understaffed all the time. I can only imagine what a horrible place CVS is to work at and has changed my view of the whole brand.

I am from out of town and had outpatient surgery at Davis and this CVS was a block away. Dr recommended picking up prescription in Durham as my local pharmacy would’ve been closed. Prescription was ready!! Thank you.

This pharmacy is not functional and should not be attempting to operate. They are severely understaffed and are not in a position to serve basic needs or deliver prescriptions within a reasonable time frame (ie less than one hour wait). Do not send prescriptions here.I sent over a prescription and arrived at 4 PM to a line of 20+ vehicles. After going inside to find the pharmacy closed to walk up customers /drive thru only (sorry bus riders and walkers), I waited over 30 minutes without moving. The pharmacy closes soon, so I have shifted my prescription to another pharmacy.CVS, this is harmful. It appears that at least a few dozen people expecting prescriptions from your pharmacy will not get them today - I waited longer than most, but gave up earlier. I feel for those in line who must really need whatever they are waiting for today. It's not ethical or responsible for you all to continue to accept prescriptions when you cannot deliver for your customers.

My mom takes care of my grandmother and was trying to remedy a situation where my grandma needs a medication the pharmacy says is not covered by insurance while the doctor said it should be. We were trying to figure out how many tablets of this costly medicine to purchase with our personal funds while we waited to sort out the insurance issue and trying to get support from the technician and pharmacist to make sure she has what she needed and they could not have been more rude. They would cut off my mom mid-sentence, placing her on hold without warning, and leaving her on hold for long periods of time. When my mom asked to speak to the pharmacist, he stated that all he could tell us was that the medicine was not covered by insurance and that was all he had time for before he walked off. It’s unfortunate that these are the kinds of obstacles that we have to navigate as we care for my elderly grandmother. We did not expect to get so much attitude and a lack of empathy while trying to get necessary medications for my grandmother.

They refuse to fill any orders sent by a hospital or doctor or even give any sort of update before you come in. The CVS app said waiting for two days straight. Finally on the third day we went up there to we why they aren’t doing their job. Their answer was that they aren’t doing their job since they are short staffed and don’t even bother to notify you that they won’t even begin to process your order unless you go in first. There are no signs I saw in the store stating this and it not was on their phone menu either. We called 5 times in 2 days and were waiting 30 minutes each time before handing up. They can’t even be bothered to answer the phone: I called corporate to complain and corporate couldn’t get them on the phone either. Avoid this place and company at all costs.

This pharmacy used to be great but recently it’s been horribly understaffed. It takes an excruciating amount of time to get anyone on the phone, and the drive-through or the inside pharmacy is frequently closed. The staff are doing their best but seem harried and overworked 100% of the time. I used this pharmacy exclusively for many years, but I’m now switching because of the horrible downturn in service.

This is my first time using this pharmacy I typically use Walgreens. Walgreen’s is currently on back order with a prescription my baby absolutely needed so I was told to try CVS. They had the medicine but I had to reach out several times before they called Walgreens to have it transferred over. Today I receive a text saying it’s ready so I arrive to pick my child’s prescription up. The line is around the building I attempt to go in only to find the pharmacy is closed inside. So I get in line and after an hour up to the window only to be told I have to leave my sons Medicaid card with them so they can process it and get back in line. As soon as I pull off I receive another text saying it’s ready to be picked up because clearly she was done processing it. I am currently back in line which has gotten even longer with my son crying in the backseat because he isn’t feeling well and wants to get out but I can’t leave because he absolutely needs the medicine or will need to be hospitalized. This is unacceptable and I will not be using CVS again after this experience.

Lines are either empty or very crowded. The majority of my experiences in this CVS have gone pretty decent. The staff are good but seem a little over overwhelmed. I do not like nor hate this place.

This is the absolute worst cvs I have ever been to ESPECIALLY the pharmacy. I can never get in contact with the pharmacy department. I was on hold the other day for 45 minutes and still no one answered. Absolutely ridiculous and store is disgusting.

I do think this CVS as a whole is a bit under stock and messy, but I come here for the pharmacy. After using the other pharmacy down Roxboro road for 15 years, they became very snotty about my medications (ones I’ve been on for 15 years), purposely not ordering them for four days, as well as never having my pain meds, as well as many other meds I needed in stock. This pharmacy, it’s so easy to request refills online, and the medication I have to call about because they were put on hold, and everyone is very pleasant, and if something happens to be out of stock, they get it the next day, unless the are having trouble getting it, which they alert me to as well.

Also another staff in the pharmacy name lauren. they’re short staffed so they’re taking their anger out on the customers. i’ve been waiting for my medication since monday they filled one of the prescriptions out the same day but still didn’t do my important prescription. i’ve been calling since Monday but finally got a answer on the phone wednesday, she was rude on the phone when I asked to speak to her manager in the middle of asking to speak to her manager since I wasn’t done talking she hurry up and put me on hold I was on hold for 30mins because I decided to drive down there when I got there she was rude again and she wanted to fight. oh and the manager refused to do my prescription because I defended myself with my words and told him, him and his workers isn’t gonna talk to me like i’m a child I won’t gone sit and argue and go back and forth I ended up leaving. but DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS CVS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BAD. THE DRIVE THRU ISNT EVEN OPEN AND THE LINES IS VERY LONG. && THIER RUDE!

This pharmacy is understaffed and customers are taking it out on the employees. Y'all they are just trying to make a living show your anger at upper management and CVS. They don't treat their staff well at all. I support these employees unionizing tbh. I've since moved my profile over to another pharmacy because it's so bad. I still need my meds and I've been trying to get them for over a week now.

Terrible experience every time, one week it's drive through only, the next drive through is closed with a sign that says "come inside". Have been told multiple occasions that prescriptions are not ready yet to come back later. Staff seems overworked and uncaring (can't blame them).

I would downgrade to 1/2 star today if I could. Over that last few months, I have called in advance of picking up an Rx to make sure it is ready, and repeatedly been mis-informed; often now, when I get to CVS after these calls, either I must wait while they put together the Rx or even worse, it turns out that they are not allowed to dispense the Rx until a certain number of days must pass to run down the current Rx--surely they could have told me that over the phone?Two days ago I called to refill an Rx and was told it would be ready that afternoon at 2:00 and they would contact me when ready. Both untrue. When I called today to confirm the Rx was ready, the automatic system had no record of my Rx request of 2 days ago. I tried on 3 calls then to talk to an actual person in pharmacy about this situation, and was unable to get through, even after multiple attempts to navigate their robo-system.Yes, I know they're understaffed and the pharmacy lines are longer than they used to be, but this is endemic to pharmacies now. But I'm tired of being mis-informed and unable to clarify problems over the phone with a human being.******Written 7 months agoThe phone numbers for this CVS and at least 3 other nearby CVS's, have not been working at least since yesterday. They had the same problems for at least 2 days about 10 days ago. This prevents me from calling the pharmacy ahead to make sure they have a RX in stock or for asking for any other info or assistance by phone. Inexcusable!

Last time I was here the line of traffic was out into the busy street because it was drive thru only due to lack of proper staffing. I have been on hold for over 1 hour; guess they don't pick up the phone either. See screenshot of hold time!

The pharmacists are incredibly rude. Everytime I call to refill my dad's meds, halfway through the TOTALLY USELESS automated call system, it finally gives up and let's you speak to a human...too bad that's even worse. The man not only just sounds straight up angry at you for having to do his job, but he audibly sighs and groans throughout the entire call. His responses are all with an aggressive tone and it's completely unprofessional and unnecessary. Plus, 2 hrs to fill some meds? Funny how NONE of the other pharms in the area take that long. Good luck to all who dare call this pharmacy.

Pathetic. Really sad when this is the closest pharmacy to the hospital, and the pain relief section was in complete disarray. Tried to buy a bottle of Aleve only to find someone had opened the bottle to take some! And some woman had a basket of products in bags at the checkout and appeared to be returning it all? When I told my brother-in-law about this experience, he reminded me that his car window got bashed in at this very location. I’d avoid this CVS. They should close.

I shop here frequently! This store's ratings should be much higher. Every employee from the front end to the The Pharmacists & Pharmacy Technicians are friendly, helpful and consistently professional. The store is always stocked and the floors are merchandise free from laying on the floor. The Kodak Kiosk needs maintenance.
