I unfortunately use this pharmacy out of convenience but would caution anyone looking for reasonable service or medicines in stock to use another pharmacy. This location is consistently understaffed, 1-2 techs at most and 1 pharmacist leading to slow fill times. It’s not out of the ordinary to be asked to come back multiple times before your prescription is actually filled. We use a locally owned pharmacy with excellent service whenever possible but CVS is open longer hours. Avoid at all costs.

Good luck trying to get a hold of their pharmacists. We’ve repeatedly not been able to get past hold music despite staying on the phone forever and our provider can’t get through either to give information and approval for prescription and refills. Find another pharmacy.

They will not fill your orders unless you call and ask them to expedite them after sending them in, have had prescriptions sitting for 24+ hours waiting to be filled, but right after I call they are filled IMMEDIATELY. But you have to stay on hold for 20 minutes first. ridiculous.

Bad experience trying to use a 25% off coupon on $90 purchase. Their system took coupon but didn’t calculate the 25% off my purchase which I didn’t notice until home and checking the receipt. I called and I was told to come back to store and they would give me the 25%. The manager then just wanted to give me my coupon back. I purchased extra items because of the 25% off so I just wanted a credit. I was told I would get the 25% off when I called. She wanted me to come back with items to return and repurchase them to get the 25%. I was not going to make a 3rd trip. I just wanted her to credit my credit card. CVS needs to train mgrs how to deal with customers and how to handle these situations since their systems are flawed. This mgr definitely didn’t want to please the customer. I will move my prescriptions and shop another drugstore. Been a customer since they opened CVS Latta Rd.

It is no longer a 24-hour pharmacy, which is not a problem for me. However they have finally allowed Pharmacy staff to take a break and the last three times I've gone at my convenience it's been during the strange schedule that they allow the pharmacy break and I've had to come back later. It's great Pharmacy and I support Pharmacy breaks- however I don't seem to get there at my convenience when they are there.

Cvs pharmacy is absolutely horrible!!!1. Forget trying to call. Many times I've called and been on hold for 20+ mins! Once I had time to drive up there while on hold. I was livid when I arrived and they weren't busy at all. While asking to fill a prescription (my dr had already sent over) I could repeatedly hear the speaker telling pharmacy they had 2 calls on hold..no one even trying to answer. I also had to wait for my prescription or come back. (Basically wasting my time and money)2. I get the same prescriptions every month for the past 3+ years. My dr sends 3 months in advance. They either don't have the full amount, or don't have any. Today, none of the cvs stores within 20 miles has it. Find out after calling several times today and no answer.3. The staff is hit or miss. I don't know the lady's name, but she's pharmacist with blonde hair. She's AMAZING!! The rest of the staff...I've let this slide in the past. But we are officially done with cvs. With everyone I'm my family that 10+ prescriptions a month. Might not be much to cvs but I'd rather my money go to a company that can fill my prescriptions...and at the very least pick up the phone!!!!

Something is really wrong at the pharmacy. Always a long wait, always chaotic. Today my wife went in for an RX, they told her 15 min, she said she’d come back. An half hour later, I came in — they told me they were out of the medication and that I would need to wait while they mixed up a partial dose. Picking up a prescription shouldn’t require three trips and shouldn’t be a half hour ordeal.

I’m in from out of town, needed important meds I forgot. Prescription called in just after noon. Almost 6:30om, no help from staff.Multiple calls, conversation with manager who was going to have pharmacy call me. That was 45 minutes ago and still no call. Sad place. Get your prescriptions elsewhere.Select a local pharmacy over a big chain. That’s the only way to go and get real service.

The staff at this location have been consistently professional and upbeat during the whole pandemic. We've been in for vaccination several times. The store is always clean and the staff is always on top of their game.

Had a vaccine appointment rushed over at my lunch break to be told the appointment was on hold due to my ins not covering it. Why wasn't there an email sent to me to let me know so I did not have to drive 25 min

They do not care about customer experience here. Not one bit.Entire pharmacy staff of 4-6 ppl take lunch all at the same time every day rather than stagger them so the pharmacy can stay open. Need your meds during lunch? Pound sand.

With everyone pushing the vaccine it should be expected that when you show up for your shot they should be prepared, not this place. I'm happy to say that I'm glad after today I'll have no need to ever enter this store. The pharmacy is full of rude people. Dont even think about calling here, I spent 20 minutes on hold the day before my appointment, no one picked up the phone. Glad to be done with this place.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would. Scheduled an COVID Rapid Results test with a date and confirmation number. 2-Days prior to the appointment I received a cancellation notice of the appointment without any detail of why. Called the store and waited for half an hour to get someone on the line. When asked why my appointment was cancelled they said it could be a "glitch in the system". So then I asked to use my confirmation number to see if my appointment was actually cancelled or still active and they agent said they couldn't look it up or confirm the appointment. I then asked to speak to the manager, was put on hold for another 10 minutes and then hung up on. The absolute worst customer service and it's shocking that an established business like CVS is so disorganized and unprofessional.

The actual pharmacy manager Susan is phenomenal, and I love working with her! However, her other staff leave a lot to be desired. There are a few techs who are respectful and kind, but some of the other techs are childish, disrespectful, and just plain unhelpful. Kevin, one of the other pharmacists is the absolute WORST pharmacist I’ve ever dealt with in my life. He was rude, disrespectful, and threatened to make me leave without providing me my prescriptions. It’s absolutely ludicrous when I’m going through a dosage change that he would not fill my medication because it was at “his discretion” as he claims. If I cannot get a resolution to this issue by talking with Susan, I will be moving my business elsewhere.

My girlfriend and I stopped by this location this evening, just before closing. We went in the store and proceeded to shop around. We did not know the store was about to close. No announcement was made about closing. All of a sudden we heard a door roll down, saw lights go off and the alarm went off as soon as I moved. We called 911, they told us to wait and someone would be there. We finally got out with the assistance of the local police department. Thankful for them. But my question is, why didn’t staff check the store for customers remaining inside?? Why didn’t staff check the parking lot when they saw my vehicle and then start the think, is someone still inside?? Why didn’t they hear us talking when we were inside joking loudly with each other??? No.. It seems that this employee was too impatient to get home.. But instead, they left two customers locked inside who were also waiting to get home..

The woman working the check-in desk for Covid-19 vaccine appointments is exceptionally rude and behaved badly at both our first and second shot appointments. At both, she was needlessly imperious, and refused to answer basic questions. After she insisted that everyone MUST check in via mobile phone. I asked how a person could check in if they did not have access to a mobile phone since it's an obvious accessibility issue. (My husband's phone is old and unreliable.) The answer, I am sure, is simple. She has no technology at her table and her job is clearly just to fill out a vaccine card with a pen (despite bad penmanship) and, ostensibly, to answer questions. All she needed to say is that any person could walk to the pharmacy to check in manually -- this information was confirmed by the person (a PA, I believe) at the second check-in point). Instead of answering, the woman at the first table implied that it was none of my business since I myself had a mobile phone. Again, I'd already had checked in. I was asking a question. Eventually, she implied that a person with no mobile phone access would be turned away. This is obviously untrue, and shockingly unethical to suggest, but the falseness would perhaps not be clear to all. To my mind, her goal seemed to be to confuse and worry those arriving to receive vaccines, perhaps even to the point where some would leave without receiving the doses to which they are legally entitled, regardless of status, access to mobile devices, or anything else. This little passive-aggressive display could have real consequences for less informed visitors and was completely inappropriate. Furthermore, on both occasions, she was fraternizing with other workers at her little table (she beckoned over a friend to complain about our family and our annoying question, for example) and they were certainly not maintaining six feet of distance while they gossiped about us. Refusing customers access to information, and creating these various little roadblocks to vaccine access is egregiously problematic behaviour. I certainly wouldn't visit this CVS location again by choice.

Minimum 20 minutes on hold every time, 20 minutes on line most times. That includes drive thru. They can't get prescriptions ready when promised. Shelves consistently bare. Run short on drug stock more frequently than competitors. OTC items frequently more expensive than competitors. Understaffed. Not the cleanest place. One positive thing I can say: the employees are nice.

My prescription is on automatic refill and the last 3 or 4 visits - they have not had my prescription in stock when I was due for it. I never received a call stating they wouldn't have my medicine. Rather, I showed up to pick it up when it's typically ready for them to tell me they don't have it and I need to HUNT it down at another CVS in the area. They are never sympathetic and could care less that their customer service is poor. They told me to order my prescription from the warehouse will take a week, but another CVS can get it in a day!

The customer service at this CVS is atrocious. I tried to get rapid results covid testing completed and the minuteclinic person said I'd get results within an hour. It's been over 24 hours at this point and still no results. I am scheduled for chemo so I need to know asap what my results are. I called to see if they can help me and the pharmacist gave me a really bad attitude when I asked for help and only offered me the hotline number. Do not go here if possible. Find somewhere else to go get tested!!!!

Spent a frustrating Friday afternoon waiting for my prescription to be filled. The Pharmacist assistants where unable to help me with a prescription mix-up between the Duke Clinic and CVS, They appeared to be uninterested in addressing the issue with my prescription. I had to wait for the pharmacist to get the issue resolved. It took too long to get a simple prescription filled.

I was very disappointed with the service I received at the pharmacy. Despite having called in a prescription on the automated line and receiving confirmation that it would be ready the previous day, when I went to pick up the prescription today, I was informed by the technician that they were still awaiting confirmation from a physician regarding refill authorization. At that point, I informed her that the scrip had been approved yesterday, that there was a remaining refill, and that the refill was ready for pick up. The pharmacy tech realized that somehow the scrip had NOT been filled as promised. At this point, she indicated that she would have it filled and that I could have it filled in 5 minutes and advised me to step aside and wait. About 15 minutes later, I was still waiting and I went to inquire about the scrip. I had to ask another technician what happened to it and I was informed that it had been sitting in their box THE ENTIRE TIME. I asked why they did not inform me it was ready when I had been standing there the entire time waiting for it. She said “they do normally try to page you when the prescription is ready.” Needless to say, I will no longer been obtaining prescriptions at CVS pharmacy.

Poor service, especially in the pharmacy. I have started moving my prescriptions to a different establishment. There used to be an awesome man that was usually at the front counter but I haven't seen him in a long time. Photos are not the same quality as they used to be last year. Don't know what has changed, maybe management, but this place has gone down hill in the last year!

Shopping here is good. The cashiers are very friendly and will help you find what you need. The pharmacy is has a few issues. The staff is friendly but getting rX transferred is a serious pain, even from one CVS to this one. Lots of issues if the rX wasnt initially filled at this CVS but after being here for a few months it has gotten better.

Not good customer service at all. Very rude not friendly or helpful. Because this CVS is so close to me I have to use in emergencies and every time I do I am reminded why I continue to go to Walmart for most of my needs. They are polite and helpful.

Horrible customer service. Miscommunication. Clerk who is so condescending with her tone (and there has been more than one). Automatic refills not refilled automatically. Gave them chance after chance after chance to be better but today was the last straw. I’m done. Take your business elsewhere.
