We took our boys there for the first time earlier this month, so of course I was nervous. The waiting kennels are visible when you walk in so you know they’re always within sight, and when we took them it wasn’t busy (there was just one other dog there). Bonnie groomed the boys and I was very impressed with how short she was able to get their ear hair (our boys seriously don’t like to hold still!). It’s been about 3 weeks since they were groomed but they still look like they’re sporting a fresh new cut! It’s also really cute how they refer to your pets as “kids”

I started taking my two little dogs to Beth at “Beth’s Barks N Bubbles” this Spring. I am so happy that I found her! She is very kind and loving with my dogs and they love to go and see her. She tries to make sure that she is doing their hair the way I have asked and does a beautiful job. They look adorable and come bouncing out of her spa happy as can be every time. :)

I have a long haired Jack Russell Terrier puppy who desperately needed grooming and Beth did an awesome job using her experience and knowledge to give him just the cut I was looking for. She was also so patient with him since he spent a good bit of time wiggling :-)I've known Beth as a groomer and a performance dog trainer and handler for over 30 years. There isn't a more skilled, conscientious and professional groomer in the Triangle. If you're looking for someone you can trust with your dog, you can't do better than Beth. I just wish I could give her 10 stars instead of 5.

I find Beth to provide great service at a good price. She handles my miniature poodle professionally and has a full understanding of how he may react and what to do in that situation. As a new dog owner, she put me at ease even though I was unfamiliar with the process.

I had good expectations based on reviews but when I went in they told me they would not book a grooming session for my dog!!I newly live in the area and brought my dog in, explaining that his grooming at daycare wasn’t going well, since it was not getting out his undercoat because they had stopped using the dryer on him as the noise made him anxious. I was keen to try somewhere new and asked if they could feel his undercoat and let me know if they thought they could help. I explained it wasn’t matted but had gotten thick.The staff member was reluctant to feel his coat, but did after several requests. She touched it but did not run her hands through it, then said his coat was “too far gone” and he should be shaved. I knew this was false because the furminator and rake at home were working fine on him but I did not have the time or expertise. She observed he was anxious and said that grooming did not work well with anxious dogs. I was disappointed.Later that week I found Elliotte’s Pet Spa online and booked him in there instead. Elliotte’s Pet Spa got his coat groomed in under 4 hours perfectly and were highly welcoming and professional.I’m sure others have excellent experiences, perhaps it was a bad day that I got them on. This is my story and I wanted to share.

I’ve been taking my older (very furry) Chow mix to Beth’s Barks and Bubbles for 4 years now and they do a wonderful job with her despite her thick coat and her underfur. They list to me and do what I ask each time. Two years ago I adopted a disabled Siberian husky (can’t straighten her back legs) and they’ve taken wonderful care of her. Through her heart worm treatments and other procedures, Beth has personally made sure that she has received excellent care and grooming. I don’t worry about my babies when they’re at Beth’s because I know she and her crew will take care of them as if they were her own. And as far as customer service goes - they’re the best! The Triangle is a big place and the girls only get groomed every couple of months, but they remember everything about us as if we were neighbors/clients in a small town. Can’t recommend them enough!!

Beth has always readily worked with me on any requests for our boys' haircuts. Most importantly, I trust that my dogs are in good hands when I drop them off.

I have been visiting Beth's for over 4 years and think that this is one of the best grooming businesses in the area. The staff do amazing haircuts and they treat the animals really well. Dogs love to come here and I feel comfortable leaving my fur baby here. What I like best though, is their knowledge about dogs. From haircuts, to diet to training advice they take the time to explain things to me and I trust their advice. I know they care about me and my dog. I highly recommend them!

My dog’s haircut was horribly done by one of the big box pet stores. I immediately called Beth’s Barks n Bubbles in the hopes that she could fix it. I was able to get an appointment in 2 days. Beth took my dog who was understandably shaken after having had been through the entire grooming process just two days earlier. She did snap a few times at Beth...who could have concluded the grooming, but kept going because she knew that I really wanted to have my dog’s haircut fixed...(for that I am genuinely appreciative), I wanted the teddy bear look and she delivered! It looks great and both Bella and I are happy. I trust Beth and I hope that she could assist us again when Bella needs grooming.

We took our dog for the first time this week to Beth's. We could not be happier with our experience! Our pup tends to be a little nervous with new situations but between Beth, her staff and Beth's dog Ernie, he felt very welcomed and did great. He looked fabulous with his summer cut! The shop is just lovely and I look forward to many years of taking our boy there for grooming! So grateful we found this wonderful place!

I have been using Beth's Barks N Bubbles for two years now and am super happy with their service. My three year old poodle, Rooney, used to hate coming to the groomer and would behave oddly for days afterwards. Beth and her staff make him feel so comfortable that going to the groomer is now a non-event, and he seems really happy after his haircuts. His coat is a challenge, especially when he plays in puddles and gets matted, but they always do a great job. I would recommend Beth's Barks and Bubbles to anyone due to their grooming skills, their excellent customer service, and their ability to make dogs feel comfortable.

Beth groomed my first dog for almost all of my poodle's life and now she has groomed my labradoodle for almost 8 years. We have followed Beth from her beginnings in Carrboro to her first shop in Durham and now to her expanded shop. Beth and her staff do an excellent job with Lulu Belle. They give great attention to detail and Beth always gives me a review of how the day went when I pick up Lulu Belle. Beth has noticed issues with Lulu Belle's skin and ears that I haven't seen. Beth is always looking for the best solutions for my dog's grooming and health. Sometimes I think Beth and her staff care about my dog even more than I do! I would recommend Beth's shop without hesitation.

Beth is so sweet and does great work!! I took my Yorkie Cody and he came out so cute and smelling amazing!! I love how she took a look at Cody and had a conversation with me about what he needed done most grooming places I would go to wouldn’t do that really loved bringing him in and I could also tell Cody had a great experience as well!

I've been taking my 8 year old Bichon to Beth for several years now after trying out 5 other shops/groomers where either my dog was terrified or upset post-grooming, the grooming was not done well, or the shop could not retain consistent staff. This has not been the case at Beth's. My dog always looks gorgeous after her "spa day" and this consistency, coupled with a genuine caring for my dog's comfort has led me to continue to bring Chloe to Beth and her team. This is the only shop where my dog has willingly walked in. I know she's not a fan of baths, being wet, or being brushed so the fact that she seems okay before and after her grooming means something has been done right.

Beth took amazing care of our last dog, who passed away two years ago. I am just back from my first visit with our new dog, who is generally timid and anxious in new environments. When I picked him up, not only did he look gorgeous, he was a serene, happy guy. We'll definitely be back!! FYI: Colleen was our groomer today - she did a fantastic job.

I took my husky, Willow, to get groomed and have a deshedding treatment. I really wish I had a before photo to show. She looks great! Everyone at Beth's Barks N Bubbles was extremely friendly. I will definitely bring her back and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great grooming team to work with a dog that's prone to anxiety.

We have been going to Beth's Barks N Bubbles since we moved to the area 6 months ago...they are fabulous! Super friendly, easy and quick to make an appointment, they do a great job grooming our poodle mix pup, and it is not an all day ordeal like most pet groomers...usually it takes them no longer than 4 hrs from drop off to pick up. They have morning and afternoon appointments which makes it super convenient for busy schedules! We highly recommend them!

Beth and her staff do a wonderful job grooming my 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Maggie (9 years old) and Bentley (2 years old). She has been grooming Bentley since he was 12 weeks old! She is professional, efficient and most importantly, loves dogs. I have recommended Beth's Barks N Bubbles to multiple friends. The folks at Beth's Barks N Bubbles are great! Not only did my senior cocker spaniel look great but they were sensitive to limitations brought on by her age and were always patients. Dixie was always calm and happy when I picked her up. They are always looking out for the dogs and point out health issues that you may not have seen.

We've been taking our havanese-poodle to Beth's since he was a puppy. The business was convenient location wise (their hours aren't but we made it work) and we wanted to support a local family business. We even made sure to continue to support the business during COVID closures.In March, Beth asked us to get our dog medicine for when he's groomed because he was snapping a lot. We went ahead and asked the vet to prescribe him some meds. We then made an appointment to get him groomed, but had to cancel last minute because of a family emergency. They have a two strike policy. This was our first time cancelling. When we tried to reschedule, we were told that they could no longer take dogs that were sedated because of insurance. However, I recently spoke to a neighbor who had JUST taken her poodle to Beth's... sedated.I'm extremely disappointed in the way we were treated after being loyal customers for over a year. I wish I had read reviews on here earlier. This business does not prioritize their customer satisfaction. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

I had an unpleasant experience. My golden retrievers were evidently too friendly and large for her to handle. After I tipped her generously, she asked me to not ever come back. The grooming was adequate but she should have help that is strong enough to handle an excited, 70 pound dog. I have received much better and less costly experience at other local dog grooming establishments. I'm glad others have had a good experience though.

Beth does an excellent job on my two goldendoodles. Her prices are extremely reasonable, particularly considering what a professional job that she does. Her shop is clean and there is minimal chaos (with my dogs involved this is a miracle). I would highly recommend her.

I have waited months to post a review of Beth's Barks N Bubbles. I did my research before taking my shih tzu puppy here, and because of all the good reviews I believed he was in good hands. AFTER I had paid, I received an apology because my dog's eyes were red. She told me that he did not understand the noose and would not cooperate so he got choked (This was his third time being groomed, and maybe it's true, but somehow my other groomer has no problems).I was so stunned that I did not know what to do other than to leave. I was already planning to go to the vet the next day or I would have made an appointment. His eyes stayed blood red for a week after his visit and he did not act like the same dog. This was much worse than after he was neutered. I have since returned to my original groomer and he has never had any problems. To Beth's credit, she did seem genuinely concerned about my dog and even called and emailed the next day. Unfortunately, I would never trust her with my dog again.
