Angelo's is great. Everyone there is super nice, and Angelo is very helpful and knowledgeable. They have a great selection, and the prices beat everyone around. We've been twice now including their grand opening, and are planning on being frequent customers. We've been to multiple local and chain stores, and don't plan on shopping anywhere else. Pic is a cherry shrimp, we picked up four and they're very healthy.

What an awesome surprise! I recently moved to the area and had trouble finding a good shop that was close by. Ended up stumbling across this place and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. Angelo has a great selection of healthy and exotic fish at very reasonable prices. Needless to say, I’ll be back!

Owner is super nice and friendly to talk to, very knowledgeable aswell. After Triangle Tropical Fish closed years ago I'm very happy to see Durham have another dedicated aquarium store. I recommend going here before Petsmart or Petco, you wont be disappointed.

I am getting back into the hobby and I was glad to see that this store had opened. Owner is very knowledgable and helpful. I strongly recommend going here first before anywhere else for your aquarium needs.

I was driving to PetSmart not looking forward to waiting on staff who aren’t familiar with the hobby. When I saw a sign for Tropical Fish World’s grand opening, I figured I’d give them a shot, and I’m glad I did. Angelo clearly knows his stuff and couldn’t have been more helpful. It’ll also be nice to not need to drive all the way to Raleigh or Alamance when I finally have the time to get a salt water aquarium going. Glad that all these years after Triangle Tropical Fish closed Durham has a tropical fish store again.

I was really excited to discover this place had just opened. They already have a huge selection of potted aquarium plants and a bunch of nice looking fish. Prices are fair!
