I have not been north on the I-95 since well before COVID and I was SOOOO HAPPY to see Sherry's Bakery had survived that disaster and was there bright and early to greet me with their hometown ambiance and utterly fabulous baking and cooking!!!I had a much-too-generous portion of biscuits (only one) and their delicious pork sausage gravy.A wonderful start to a long day's drive.

This is the BEST place to get your Birthday cakes made! My wife and I get all of our birthday cakes from Sherry’s Bakery. They also have those “old school “ hamburger that are absolutely delicious. Thank you Sherry’s bakery for being consistent with good food and desserts.

If you enjoy cold hotdogs and fries this is your place. Waited over 30 minutes for 3 hot dogs and fries. When our number was finally called the food was not warm at all. It wasnt busy they are just slow. Not the same restaurant as it once was. Staff is very slow and rude. If I had actually heard the lady at the counter smart off and say we should have gone somewhere else you can bet I would have. Such a shame for such a longstanding business to go downhill because of simple things like this.

After being in the location for about 10 minutes I was not happy. The fact that I've been coming to Dunn on a regular basis for the last 3 years and did not know about this place, makes me sick. It was like my dream come true. Great donuts and diner style hamburgers and fries. The staff was awesome smiling, helpful, and friendly. The food came out quick and the donuts were the best value in three counties. I can see myself finding reasons to make the hour long drive more often now.

Stopped by here on our way home after a game at Campbell University. Looking for something other than fast food and this place was a true find! Everyone was so nice and there were so many options in their showcase, from yeast donuts 🍩 to fancy cupcakes !! Everything we got was delicious, but the fritters were our favorite. Would definitely recommend this slight detour to anyone traveling on I95!

This place has delicious donuts. They were so kind with great service. By the end of the transaction, it felt like we were part of the family! We sat outside on their little dining area with my dog. They even sent out a bowl of water for her.

After lunch nearby at the Deli Market we ventured over to Sherrys Bakery. We are so glad we stopped in the cream donut and apple fritter was delicious. The service was top notch the woman behind the counter was so nice and friendly.

9/16/2023: Yes, it's the sweetest smelling corner in town and the best baked goods to take to an NC State football tailgate. If eating at the restaurant, try a burger or hotdog all the way before getting a baked good.

Classic donut shop does not disappoint!Friendly staff is sweet as the pastries :)If her smile hadn't made me instantly feel welcome, her good-natured teasing did. As a fellow just driving through town, I felt quite at home.The selection of donuts made it hard to choose. I had the Long John (see photo), which was delicious; the pastry was soft (you can't fake freshly baked), not undercooked/doughy, but also not overcooked (I don't like hard/crispy outsides that you get at other shops), also not greasy. The white cream in the middle was a good consistency (not too fluffy) with the right amount of sweetness. The chocolate icing was dark enough to balance out the donut.My partner had the apple fritter. The light pastry, which had nice texture and was not too sweet, perfectly supported the star ingredient: apples!The place also sold pies, had another counter for food service, and plenty of seating/tables.If you're ever near Dunn, NC, be sure to stop in at Sherry's!

We just moved to the area, and our neighbor gifted us with a box of donuts from Sherry's Bakery. The donuts are divine in flavor and texture. I ordered a 9 inch round birthday cake in red velvet batter and cream cheese frosting. The cake presentation was great, but the attendees at the party agree that the flavor and texture was lacking. So not the best red velvet recipe, but the birthday boy liked the frosting. When I ordered the cake, the employee serving me told me the cost would be between $20 and $30. The list of cakes on the hanging sign indicated that red velvet was $26.50. When I picked it up, different employee charged me $36.50. (The party was hours away.)So, get a firm price when you order a cake. We will be back for donuts, but maybe not cakes. The establishment has a great reputation, and I wish them well. I want donuts for my birthday!

Stopped in for donuts.Picked a dozen mixed. Best donuts I ever had.My next time i go will be for lunch.Their menu looks really good.And I'll be picking up more donuts.
