Older stand alone Food Lion grocery store with easy access from both East and Westbound on Atkins Street with a large parking lot that has a large number of handicapped parking spaces. Store has a large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables and freshly baked deli items. Store also has courteous, friendly and knowledgeable associates in every department.

I was impressed by how well the deli department executed the highest merchandising standards. The deli manager, Julie, was very helpful in helping me find the green-frosted, chocolate cupcakes I was looking for!

Having problems with order online and having somebody shop for us. You can not get what's on my list. They are supposed to text me and try to substitute something, or I can just cancel that item. They never text. This time, I walked in the store and walked right to the items they supposedly didn't haveIt's becoming a joke. This is the 3rd timeI have had enough. Guess I will drive 9 miles to grocery shop

This is the best Food Lion!! The fruits & veg's are always fresh. The store itself is always immaculate and nice,friendly employee's except 1 young man but he was probably just having a bad day. I enjoy shopping at the Dobson Store and Pilot Mountain Store. Oh and the meat department & Deli are fantastic as well. Everyone does a fantastic job!!!

This food lion is the best!! We ordered our groceries online, had a fairly large/complicated order, and they did an incredible job with the order and the replacements. The two ladies who delivered our order were so friendly and super quick (it took them less than a minute to get to the car from the store and load up the groceries in the trunk). Truly impressive work. They clearly care about customer service and satisfaction, and we'll certainly keep coming back.

Great store!! Good customer service. Best Food Lion produce section in the area!! Wish more employees would wear a mask and some that do wear them covering their nose/mouth!! I love this store though been shopping here since it opened a few years back!!

I placed a catering order mid July for my daughter's birthday party on August 6th. Pickup time was 11 am. I got to Food Lion about noon, and they only had 3 of the 5 trays. The response I got was very nonchalant, "sorry we must've missed them, I can call my manager and we could probably have them made in a few hours." The party was at 1:30, so I had to scramble to figure out what I was going to feed everyone. On top of that, the cake image was full of bubbles. Just an overall bad experience.

This is about the only food lion store I have been to in my life that is constantly out of stock of so many things.It is not just out of a few thing's ... It's SO MANY things. Its always crowded and staff there is 9/10 times rude and just somber. You can tell they arent happy to be there and not afraid of any consequences from being so nasty to customer's.I drive an extra 30 minutes to do my shopping now because of the issue's.

Being the only grocery store in town, I've made quite a few trips here and all of them are always great! With a lot of people coming through here they always do a fantastic job of keeping wait times down and shelves stocked! It's great to have a place close by to rely on! Most of my grocery trips are done here and I plan on keeping it that way!

Great place to shop. They almost always have good sales and deals. The people who work here are nice. Everyone I go shopping there with my kids (3yrs and 7m) they always offer to help me with my groceries. I never accept but it's nice of them to all when your hands are full.

Due to the fact they are the only Grocery store that people who live in Dobson city limits and the immediate surrounding areas have. They find it necessary to hike the prices of 75% of they're product up by around 10-12%Yea mall what time ll.ll

Terrible Company, low pay, low hours, no notice on schedules, upper management is a joke both at store level and corporate. Not enough hours for the departments, the retirement plan is laughable.

I drive to Wal Mart to buy the majority of my groceries. Seems that here in Dobson we have the smallest store I've been in and are out of a lot of products and just don't carry as many products. It's subpar at best. People are not the issue it's the lack of products and availability.

Most of the time I enjoy shopping there but the Dobson location I have notices that they are out of a lot different items. I wish they would upgrade the Dobson store to be more like the Mt airy or Elkin location

I found everything I was looking for. I was looking for ripe bananas and they had some, everybody else's were green. The employees were fast and very courteous. I was in and out very quickly.
