I cannot say enough about the quality of service and the care that Marina at the Groomery takes in her work.Our dog, Mambo, loves her!We have taken Mambo to Marina now for about a year and have been very happy with her work each time !She is attentive and VERY good at what she does. I had been taking my Shih Tzu with Marina for a couple of months now. She's an excellent grommer. She does what you ask her to do. My dog its a little bit nervous but Marina it's very lovely with him and he feels very comfortable with her.

The last groomer I went to got product in my dogs eye, an emergency bill of 300$ and worry had me on edge. This PetSmart took extra special care to explain the bathing process and how they take care of flushing the products if any out to insure my pet was safe. My sweet baby was clean and smelled great! I would recommend this grooming salon.

A wonderful experience for myself and my pet. She had never been to a groomer. They were wonderful and patient. She came away looking great: shiny nice smelling, lovely clean ears and nicely trimmed ears. Will certainly be back!

This place is literally the best! My pups and I moved to the area a few months ago, so I was looking for a groomer and was kind of nervous, bc the groomer I was taking them to (which was also a PetSmart) where we lived was AWESOME. I took a chance on this place and have been taking them back ever since. The ladies that work here are always so pleasant. Three different groomers have worked with my pups and they all have turned out wonderful. No complaints here!!! I will definitely continue to bring my pups here and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a groomer.

I moved out of NC a few months back and have had trouble finding a groomer in VA that I like. I went back home last weekend to visit and was lucky enough to get an appt with Amber at the Groomery. We, my dog Gabby and I, have missed her! She is such a nice person and always does such an awesome job on my crazy Shih Tzu. I really liked the Groomery, I've never heard of one until I tracked Amber down. It's like a small Mom and Pop's shop but with a name you can trust. If I move back home I'll be there every month! Thank you Amber 🙂

I took my 7 month old husky in sometime in November, I wasn’t really impressed with the results. When I picked Emily up she didn’t smell too good. She fur wasn’t soft or even felt clean. But they did do a great job on her nails.

The salon is great and I always take my Aussie here since it's only a few minutes away. I always do the "do-it-yourself dog wash" though because I find the services to be much more expensive than PetCo. The customer service is good though!

My 6 lb long hair Chihuahua cost $79 for haircut, nail trim and teeth brushed. Much to expensive for a very small dog. Person that took my dog was friendly but forgot how I wanted ears trimmed and didn't trim paws as I requested. I don't know if teeth were brushed. I would rate as basic fair job for a high cost. Probably won't return.

Courtney did a great job with my hard to handle cat. My cat had some skin issues and they gave her a dry bath and grooming. Her hair is so soft and it cleared up her dry skin. The Groomery was very reasonably priced compared to other cat groomings I was quoted. Brandy and I will be back.

I only used the self serve dog wash, which was way too much pressure and non adjustable. I've found better (less expensive and better quality bathing equipment) 15min away. Staff was very friendly and welcoming though!

The people working were very knowledgable and willing to help. They did a great job grooming my baby and i will definitely be back! She can be a bit difficult to groom and is very vocal. They were extremely patient with her. Im a bit if a helicopter parent- i dont just leave my dog with anyone. They were even willing to let me stay and watch. And the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of service i recieved.

I have been bringing my pack of 4 labs here since the first week they opened because it’s convenient and cost effective. I use the self bath and usually bring 2 dogs at a time with my own towels and products. When they first opened everything was so clean and new. Someone would ensure the bath tub was washed prior to the next dog using it and ensure the excess hair was out of the drain. The wash tools and aprons were in good condition and floors clean. Over the past 6 months, the same water proof aprons for owners to wear continue to have larger and larger tears in them so much they can barely function as an apron. The tubs upon arrival are consistently dirty and covered in dog hair and drains clogged. The floor today was muddy. The water hose leaks and squirts all over the place. The hair dryer hose has duct tape wrapped around it due to cracks. The sealed edges of the tub have black mildew growing all over them; my finger nail was able to scrape it away so a simple scrub down could quickly take care of that. The tiles on the sides of the tubs are filthy and look like they have never seen a scrub pad or disinfectant.I mentioned it today to the staff. They offered me many excuses like the mildew is too hard to remove without replacing the caulk. And the aprons are on back order (for 6 months! Find a different brand) and they have been really busy lately. I arrived at 5pm and there was not another person there in the self bath area. They had 3 tiny dogs in the back and 4 employees who were singing and dancing with the music turned up loud.The whole experience was disappointing compared to my past visits there when they first opened. The leadership needs to recognize these shortcomings and address them. I can only imagine how bad the bath tubs in the back must look if the self bath ones that are visible to the public are neglected this bad.Perhaps it’s time to find another option if pet smart can’t clean up their shop.

Always good service from Heather B. (groomer). Luna sheds twice a year and no way can I get all the hair off of her. She goes to see Heather for a furminator bath and comes home a new dog with no more excess shedding. It’s worth every penny!

$13 for a self service dog wash with a full setup. High powered water/soap nozzles, warm air force dryers and the apple soap smells great. The best part, I can do a full coat blow out on my huskies and I don't have to clean up the hair!

If you want you dog injured and bleeding without them telling you, this the place for you. They are evidently not trained or qualified enough to trim my dogs nails without injuring him. We found out after he was in the car and began limping terribly. When confronted, they admitted to injuring our dog and had to use "quick clot" to stop his bleeding. They did not volunteer this knowledge until confronted. I would never trust them with an animal I cared about!! Ever!

This place is not very friendly for people for many reasons. The first reason is that it was pricey for a self dog wash place as they don't have to do anything but sit and watch. the second reason is what happened when I took my two dogs there to wash them. We were washing them and one of my dogs has anxiety issues and didn't like the sound of the blow dryers, he was getting anxious to the point that I was worried he was going to bite me. They gave us two towels, one for each of the dogs, and it became apparent that I would need an extra towel or two to wash off my dog without the use of a dryer. Keep in mind that the towels were not full sized beach towels but small hand towels. I asked for an extra and they refused to give us extra towels and also, as I turned away, acted like I was an imbecile for asking for another towel. I was infuriated because the amount that I had to pay for the washes should have at least given me empathy and a couple extra towels for my scared dog. I had to drive my wet, anxious dog home in my plush car. My disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined.

I made an appointment for my dog and filled out the pre check in online to make his sound seizure issue very clear before the appointment. After driving 35 minutes for our appointment I was greeted with the fact that they had JUST read my message and couldn't accommodate my request. They said, "Oh, we wish we would have read it sooner", yeah so do I! Very unprofessional!

This location had several open appointments open on Saturday 12/22. I had an appointment booked with Brittany, but I received a last minute call from “Kimberly”, stating the groomery is very busy today and my dog stresses too much. I’ve taken my dog to this location several times, they always give a good report stating my dog is sweet & does great. My dog used to go to a busy location & was fine. It’s odd to receive a last minute call stating otherwise...this location is new & never busy! Perhaps the groomers don’t want to drive to Denver today?? I called last night 12/21, the lady confirmed it’s ok to bring my dog on 12/22. The alleged manager that answered the phone on 12/22 at 7:38 AM, said my dog can’t come in today because he stresses too much, but can book him at a different location! Very strange!

Walked in needing all my Yorkies full groomed. Or atleast to make an appt to come back if they didn't have any availability. The 2 girls looked at me as I walked in. Never said a word to me... waited 10 min. They kept looking at me never saying anything. After waiting 13 min to be helped I walked out the door.

This place is a JOKE! We just took our 6 month old yorkie in for her first haircut and they told me it would be three hours. There were no more pets being groomed. I went to check on her 15 min later. They said she was fine. 5 min later they call and tell me they cannot groom her that I will have to take her to a professional groomer, something about they aren’t aloud to hold her down ..... isn’t that hilarious? I should have known they weren’t professionals when they lady that took our dog put a leash around her neck and my husband had to tell her small dogs like yorkies can’t use collars or leashes on their necks due to small tracheas. We asked her to just use the harness that was already on her. She said she would just carry her. There were four ladies standing in there not doing anything. What is the purpose of this place?? Is it not a dog grooming place?? LOL!!!! Don’t waist your time...Go to a professional!
