Started to close the pharmacy frequently because the pharmacist had an ongoing emergency and now the pharmacy is closed on the weekends!? I understand people have lives to tend to, but I think corporate needs to replace this pharmacist with at least two that can be there on the freaking weekends! Now I have to go with our both my blood pressure meds and no I’m not driving to Va!

Drove all the way there after getting a notification from them saying my medication was ready, to see a paper sign saying the pharmacy was closed today and would reopen tomorrow. Google says open until 7pm. You need to do better than a paper on a window. I have a google business profile it only takes 5 minutes to update your business open dates and it would save folks the whole day driving back and fourth hundreds of gallons of fuel wasted between all the customers driving there for the pharmacy to be closed. Very sad. Poor management. Also when they’re busy they leave you on hold until it retry’s automatically and they pick the phone up and put it back down hanging up on customers purposely to make the phone stop ringing.

Went to the pharmacy 4 times before receiving my prescription. Signed up for but never received the text alert that it was ready and waited in line ten plus minutes each time when CVS was rolling nonstop. Only went there b/c CVS was out of the medication and sent me there. Should have gotten my medication at 11 am but received it at 5:20 pm. Never again!

I was on hold for the pharmacy for 45 minutes after their recording said that there was one caller ahead of me just to find out that the pain medication prescription sent in 4 days ago had not even been ordered! I called the manager just to be blowed off off and told how busy her people are. This store sucks almost as bad as the one in Elizabeth city.

I owe it to other patrons of this pharmacy to report the very poor customer service and attitude of its staff.I needed to get 4 prescriptions filled following oral surgery, as soon as possible before the anesthesia from the surgery left me in unbearable pain. I had driven over an hour from ECU dental school and went directly to the pharmacy. I was afraid there would be a line and a long wait as there usually is, but there was no line. I explained my situation and asked that they please expedite my prescriptions because I was already feeling a good deal of pain and getting worse. Because there was no line, I didn't think this was unreasonable. However, It took 30 minutes to fill these prescriptions, even though I sat there weeping from the pain. No explanation for the delay even when I checked with them twice. I was in so much pain by then, I vomited on the way to my car.When another customer went in to ask for help, they REFUSED to come out to assist or even check. Appalling! Will never go there again and no one else should.

Prescriptions were sent to this Walgreen at 3 pm on a Wednesday. Medicine was still not available 8 pm. What good is going to doc if you can't get the medicine.

I've used Walgreens for several years now, & hadn't had any real "issues".... until a year ago, more specifically, the past 6 months. All such "issues" have occurred not just once, but repeatedly. Sitting in the drive-thru for an hour and even longer is insane. People use that option for the convenience, whether due to time constraints or illness. When I've gone to pick up prescriptions, if they were not yet ready, I was told I'd have to either come inside & wait, or just keep circling the building & going thru the line until it WAS ready so that I didn't create an "unfair inconvenience" for other customers in line. Yet repeatedly I have sat in that same drive-thru waiting while customers sat there at the pick-up window waiting for a prescription they had just dropped off.I was very ill, & after leaving the ER on another occasion, since it was a Sunday & they had limited hours, I actually went inside to pick up a couple of prescriptions that had been sent in. I was the only customer sitting there waiting, & I was STILL waiting when the pharmacy tech started closing the window for the night. One prescription was a prefilled medication & only required that they put a label on it & process it through insurance; literally only took them about 3 minutes to take care of when they finally did it. The other medication they said they no longer carried, that they didn't even have it in their warehouse, that IF they COULD get it, it would take several days, & that I'd have to contact the ER for an alternative. Every other pharmacy I've used, the pharmacist always did such things. So after nearly an hour & a half, I left there without the meds. I contacted the ER the next morning & they sent in a different medication. Then I was notified that the first medication, the one they claimed they no longer used, was now ready to be picked up, plus they filled BOTH scripts that were for the same thing! Both had to be paid for out-of-pocket as my insurance didn't cover them. When I picked it up, I asked why I had been told that it was no longer available the night before, & the tech told me it WAS a medication that they DID carry! To make the situation even worse, while I sat there waiting...and being ignored the night before, a woman came in & went straight up to the consultation window. She was there to get a COVID booster, & decided to get 4 refills since she was there anyway; those refills were NOT already prepared & ready, but they obviously knew her, so took care of all 4 refills & her COVID booster ---- while I still sat waiting! Also, simple little prescriptions that only take a few minutes to fill have taken 24-48 hours, & longer, to get filled.I try not to leave such negative reviews, but I feel the time has come to speak up. I worked in the health field for 16 years as well as in other pharmacies & retail, so what I've shared is based on an extensive background.Service should NOT be based on who you are, who you know, economic status, or what type of insurance you have! If they're soo busy, there shouldn't be staff standing around with their hands in their pockets (literally), & they need to hire additional staff. If they're going to outright lie to a customer, they should get their "story" straight so they don't get caught in that lie. If they don't like dealing with customers, or are tired of the job, they need to just LEAVE! The complacent attitudes & unprofessional behavior that I've both witnessed & experienced first hand is completely unacceptable! Walgreen's needs to get their act together. I for one will be transferring my business elsewhere!

Horrible at answering the phones, was told by the automated message one called ahead of me then transferred just to be put back on hold, waited 30 minutes and still no answer! I will be switching pharmacies! Do better Walgreens!

Hands down best pharmacy ever! I walked in on my lunch break to drop a perscription off and they said they could have it ready in 15 minutes. It took them less than 10 minutes to have it filled and everybody was so nice. I have been using this pharmacy for years but never had to drop a prescription off before. I have always thought highly of the staff. I'm even more impressed with my experience today! The prescription is a little bit more money than Walmart but pretty much everything everywhere is more expensive than Walmart. I will gladly pay a few extra dollars never have to deal with Walmart again.

Wait times are atrocious- I was the second car at the. Drive in window and waited 25 minutes just to drop off a prescription refill- they need workers who are ready to work, know what they are doing and trained in customer service - their current staff doesn’t seem to be in any hurry or have any concern - there were at least three cars in line behind me waiting as well.

My wife and I both had appointments for our 1st Covid vaccinations today. They were administered in a timely and professional manner and, most importantly, from individuals (check-in and vaccinator) who were friendly and genuinely cared about our wellbeing. Something I have never said before, and most likely never will again - We look forward to our second vaccination. Thank you.

Wanted to charge $79 for a prescription. Was able to get a good price on GoodRx app but they wouldn't accept it because it was for my dog. This medicine was same for people. Went to another pharmacy and got the prescription for less than half. Guess that's "big pharma" for you. Will be switching.

My experience was horrible! I was quoted an hour for one medication that only they have. I live 3 hrs away so I couldn’t come another day or go home and come back. I literally was treated like I was a problem and didn’t matter. They were short and rude. It’s always an issue-

The poorest excuse for a pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They lie, don't keep stock in medicines and tell you you have insurance issues. Unbelievable!

WORST pharmacy ever. Slow getting medicine even when you call ahead. Med not there even if you get a auto call saying it is. Does not let you know if there has been a change before they fill your order and expect you to pay for something your ins. doesn't cover anymore. None caring pharmacy people. Don't even try to call and speak to someone in phamacy, you will never get them.

The pharmacy does has issues filling prescriptions and communication issues. I had to call to find out they were out of stock, and when I tried to resolve the problem I was told to wait or go to another Walgreens. This was also not my first time having an issue here.

Don't go to this pharmacy!...the store is fine, but the pharmacy is awful..I went today for the last time!! They never have anything ready, and don't mind telling you to keep driving though..They will waste a minimum of and hour of your time, every time .The only reason they have business is because there isn't much competition.

Got to be the worst pharmacy in the world!!! They refill RX that have been cancelled! Call and text you and the RX is not even ready!! Will NEVER fill a RX for us again! Never answered the phone after 30 mins. This is a nightmare!

I have a friend that's visually impaired, the medicine is supposed to come with a talking pill cap. I DID NOT.They called and they were given the run around, EXCUSES ABOUT WHY IT HAPPENED.THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPENTHEY COULD HAVE TAKEN THE WRONG MEDICINE!!! AND THEN WHAT ANOTHER EXCUSE.I WAS/AM SO ANGRY.

They filled my script incorrectly and blamed my medical provider for their mistake. The staff was VERY rude and inconsiderate, I filed a complaint that was ignored and now I am out the money that I paid for their mistake. I will never use them again.

Stole some Oxy from my prescription. On camera, there count from the store was off, my script was off. Pharmacist counted the store total and admitted to being off count, called me a liar multiple times! Count your meds people!! Don’t trust them ever!!

Great with getting your medicine and answering ANY questions you may have. Sometimes,ANY the pharmacists there will be somewhat rude, but that's understandable with the people they have to deal with through the day.
