I went there with my fiance and her father today. He wasn't the easiest, but the young lady that helped us today had incredible patience and was so kind. Not only that, but the other two sales associates there were incredibly kind and helpful to everyone that entered, including a blind gentleman that needed assistance. Kudos to the staff and thank you for your dedication.

After trying on about 20 pairs of shoes the employees there desired on a pair of 150 dollar pair of shoes would best fit what I do for work here it is 36 days after I bought them shoes are ripping apart like I told them they would do they told me at time of purchase when it happens to bring them back so I did and now there’s nothing they can do for me I’m just out of luck I wouldn’t recommend going there seems they are only after your money after that not there problem will not be returning again and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

Nice selection but, no customer service. I went in today and bought a pair of Crocs and the only time any of the three people working spoke to me was when I checked out... There was only one other customer and she wasn't being helped either.

THE WORST SALES ASSOCIATES & CUSTOMER SERVICE! Purchased 2 pair of shoes, associate scanned another pair of shoes due to the barcode torn on the pair I got, when I got home 45 MINUTES AWAY, he had put the wrong shoes in my bag. After calling to make them aware of the mistake they made, they said they would hold my shoes for me until I drove BACK to Edenton to get the correct pair. Apon arriving they DID NOT hold the pair of shoes for me, and she rudely told me they don't hold shoes for customers (even though it was THEIR mistake) so It was all a waist of time and money. I will never spend my $ at this store again.

While on vacation we came upon this shoe store. I've had 5 back operations and was in major need of a new pair. Shoes are one of the things I'm willing to spend money on.I was thrilled to see their selection of high end running/walking shoes. Plus, I wanted to support a local business, instead of buying my shoes from a big box store or Amazon.A nice young lady named, Savannah was super helpful and fun. We were in a great mood and she seemed to really enjoy helping me too. After trying on a few pairs I found what I thought were a pair of the best shoes I'd ever worn. They were Hokas and around $140.Once I got back to our place though, the left shoe not only hurt my foot, but the sole was really squeaky.... a definite defect that I couldn't hear while in the store. I was bummed. I really thought this was my new pair of shoes.So, we went back to the store and luckily Savannah was working. She was again super nice and did her best to help me find a pair to exchange them for. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything that worked.Savannah was super cool about processing my return and refund. My family who lives in the area said they'll check out the store soon, because one of them needs a new pair of shoes. We come back to visit every summer and will definitely stop back into the store to shop next year.

Incompetent sales associates / questionable sales practices. Visited this afternoon to let the kids shop for some shoes. While waiting in line, the customer in front of me had questions about their reward points. The cashier spent 10-15 minutes talking with the customer giving them incorrect information about their rewards program/points and sales this weekend. When I finally got to check out, the the cashier asked if I'd shopped here before (I havent) and then asked for my name/zip code. When I politely declined, they demanded the information, saying that it is required to proceed with the purchase. When asked why, they said it is required for 'security reasons', but stores actually ask for this information for marketing purposes and it is not required to complete purchases. I took my business to Rack Room Shoes in Elizabeth City.

Worse sales associates ever. They play very vulgar music and when I asked them to turn it down or off they said they couldn't which was a lie in the end they just said Alexa stop. I have never heard more vulgar music anywhere. Especially a place of business. Very disrespectful to the customers.

The family Shoe Store in Edenton North Carolina is truly a family shoe store. I like shopping there. The staff remembers who you are, they offer to find the size shoe you are looking for if your size is not available. They are friendly and professional. I like the variety of color and good quality shoes available. Shopping there is a pleasure.

I enjoy shopping in the Edenton Sound Feet Shoe store. The staff are great to work with and very helpful. They work hard to locate shoes from other stores it they don't have my size. I wish they could carry the selection that the Outer Banks store and the Greenville store carries.

Ordered a pair of shoes, stopped in to pay for them told I could not enter unless I used hand sanitizer said company policy. SORRY you lost a loyal customer.I do not like using hand sanitizer, what is the point, I touch items in your store, then I try on different shoes and touch my feet in process ect.. personal preference. How about employees keeping store clean.I can go into walmart without a problem or other stores.Guess Amazon's is way to go
