We have been coming to this practice for 5 years and have always had a good experience. Most recently we were beyond thrilled with the technician's interaction with our dogs. We have a puppy that was getting stitches removed and she didn't realize what was happening and didn't even flinch. Then our older dog who is usually terrified (and dramatic) at vet appointments really took to the tech and allowed her to do everything needed for a full annual exam, including a blood draw, without any issues - we were shocked! We made sure to get her name and will request her for all our appointments. Thank you Courtney Draper for handling our dogs with so much care and finesse and making our experience great!

I wanted to take a minute and tell you how well cared for Bentley was at Whole Pet. From the staff to the vets and everyone at Cares Vet in Charlotte (who was his cardiologist) we cannot say thank you enough. My wife and I honestly believe that if it wasn’t for these amazing people we would have lost our boy long ago. He was so well taken care of and felt so comfortable around everyone there that it made it taking him to the vet so much easier. He did not like many people 😊. We also want to give a huge thank you to Dr. Comeaux. She could not have been any sweeter and more gentle with helping us say goodbye to little guy. We are business owners. And when we go to other businesses we like to be treated like we treat our customers. With honesty trust and respect. I can tell you we will absolutely be taking any future pets to Whole Vet. My little guy has a complicated medical history and Dr. Forward was very thorough in reviewing it and addressing my concerns. They did his blood draw in the room which I really appreciated since he gets stressed when separated from me. Everyone was extremely kind and made sure we were both as comfortable as possible during the visit! I have already recommended Whole Pet to friends and family members!

We had the best experience at Whole Pet Davidson yesterday! I called yesterday morning and they offered me a same day appointment, which was very difficult at our previous vet. We saw Dr. Hanna Andrews and Kendel and they couldn’t have been sweeter. I have a very nervous girl and this was the first time she wasn’t debilitatingly nervous. The exam room had a comfy couch and large windows, which put her at ease. I made a comment about how this made her comfortable and they were so thoughtful to put this in her chart to remember for her next visit. I didn’t feel rushed at all and Dr. Andrews was very honest and compassionate. She offered several solutions to our issue and supported our decisions. She also went out of her way to offer money saving options, which is always appreciated! Don’t think twice about bringing your pet here. It is the absolute best care around!!

We switched our two golden retrievers Ryder & Rylie to Whole Pet Veterinary Hospital - Davidson. We were dealing with continuous ear infections with Ryder and our previous vet just kept recommending the same things that just weren't working. Since our first appointment we have had such a great experience and couldn't be happier that we made the switch. Everyone has been so kind to work with and we have appreciated the more natural approach to care and focus on everything that we are giving our dogs in terms of foods, treats, vaccinations and everything else in between. Thanks for caring about our golden boys just as much as we do!

This is the most amazing, compassionate and educated group of high-level vet specialists we have ever experienced. We have 12 dogs, many which are special needs - so we have a different level of experience that’s a non-negotiable. Dr Uhlein has the nicest facility with the most friendly and accommodating staff! My little girl and I had our first visit with Whole Pet this morning and it was amazing.The staff are phenomenal, so helpful and the whole process for my kitty was so easy, she was so relaxed and curious about everything. I don’t think she’ll have a problem going back to this vet and our new client checkup only took about a half hour. Definitely found our vet!Update: had a new addition to the family and brought him down last week, same as his new sister. Very curious of the new surroundings, totally unfazed, and even got him playing with some of the new kitty wall furnishings.Can’t recommend whole pet enough!

Our family would certainly recommend Dr. Comeaux, Dr. Forward, and the staff for anyone with a beloved pet. We have had to walk through a difficult time recently with our precious senior dog, Sally. She has been fully supported and cared for as well as our family. The knowledge (with team effort between staff) was extremely beneficial to help give as many options as possible for her care. The time investment to answer every question we had and address every concern with compassion will not be forgotten. We are truly grateful for the kindness we have been shown by this entire office. Our hearts have been sad because of circumstances, but the genuine loving kindness help to soften our heartache. You guys deserve 100 stars! Thank you for caring for all of our family members canine and human…you all are a blessing to our community!

I wish I could give Whole Pet in Davidson 10 stars! I have been with them for over 2 years now, and I can say with certainty that my 17 year old cat Callie is still alive, and doing so well, because of the amazing vets there. Callie has several health issues, and a number of time she has needed immediate attention. I call and she is gotten in the same day every time. My previous vet would sometimes make me wait a couple of days. Callie has IBS and Hyperthyroid. A couple of days could mean her life. I have seen multiple vets there and they have all been amazing. So are the staff and vet techs. They are all so gentle with her, caring, and thorough in their treatment. The place is always super clean, and they try to immediately get your animal into a room, which is less stressful to them, especially a cat, so they are not forced to be around other animals in the waiting room. If you are looking for great vet care, I highly recommend Whole Pet. My experience has been they really care about our furry children.

Dr. Carrie and her staff are amazing!! I live in Kentucky and my moms dog is Florida was diagnosed with a tumor on his spleen. All of the local vets gave me quotes between eight and $13,000. I started doing some research on splenectomy and dogs and came across a blog from Dr. Carrie, Her passion for animals and understanding the financial aspects of peoples lives really touched my heart.I scheduled a consult with her office in regards to my mother’s dog, and she explained the entire process to me and gave us hope on giving this fella his shot at A longer life.I decided to fly into Florida and drive to her office in North Carolina To proceed with the surgery. Our pup was in critical condition at that time, We actually had to have a transfusion performed And one of her staff members Has her own pup that provides this.Dr. Carrie was very confident Even with the great risk with him being so critical. He came through the surgery with flying colors.Even if the results of the biopsy on this tumor come back negatively, she gave us the opportunity To provide our dog a longer life with minimal recovery. He walked out of her office, feeling so much better, a literal smile on his face. He is now back home with my mother Back to doing his normal dog duties of chasing the mailman.We love this office and everybody in it for giving us this opportunity At a more than reasonable price of $1900.I would recommend them and do recommend them to everybody I speak with. It’s hard to find a good vet and a fair Priced it these days. I can honestly say this group is in it for the love of animals, and not the love of money. After being unable to get a diagnosis from another provider when my dog could not walk I took him to Whole Pet. He saw Dr. Hanna Andrews. She immediately (and compassionately) examined him, determined that he had spinal issues and got him on medications quickly. He is now in recovery mode. I found Dr. Andrews and the whole staff to be caring, extremely knowledgeable and amazing in their care of my beloved dog. Thanks to all at Whole Pet!

We followed Dr. Carrie to Davidson over 10 years ago ( when they opened Davidson Veterinary Hospital ) .Carrie and the rest of the team provide “ the best “ care we could ever ask for !!!During this time , our two Labs ( Gracie and now Gus) were both diagnosed with Cancer.. Thanks to Carrie , we had a couple of additional years with Gracie and Gus is now cancer free after surgery and ongoing preventative treatments ..We are so blessed !Howard G

Whole Pet Veterinary is a compassionate, caring veterinary hospital. They practice traditional and holistic medicine, which is one of the reasons I take our dog, Maggie to them. Dr. Uehlein and all the staff have always been wonderful… they take there time with you and really listen…Not only are they a great clinic, they also help with rescuing dogs… They were instrumental in helping bring 400 pets from St. Thomas that would have been euthanized, as well as treating many of them for heartworm.I would highly recommend Whole Veterinary Hospital!

Unfortunately, I wish I could rate the performance of this clinic, but they denied providing service unless I hired a Pet Travel Agency to verify the legwork that I've already accomplished.I had what ended up being a very frustrating experience with this clinic in trying to get a health certificate for my pet traveling overseas. I'm an active duty service member preparing to move to Japan, and after researching all the requirements needed for my pet to travel, submitting all the documentation, and explaining what I had done to follow the process, I was informed that they would not help me unless I used a Pet Travel Agency to verify the forms were correct. Instead, they pushed me away to the nearest military vet which is about 3 hours away to "jump through hoops" that only a military vet can do. Long story short, the clinic was happy to inconvenience me rather than trust the fact that I've done my research. Very disappointing customer service, but ultimately the clinic's choice in whether they want to help clients.

"Warning" use diligence when choosing a vet this offer misled thinking my pet was getting on Chemotherapy when I got there they said he needed a biopsy in order to get this done I drove from another state. This veterinary office did not have my best interests in mind for my dog. This could have been avoided. This is the most unprofessional veterinarian office I have ever come in contact in my tenure rescuing dogs. The Manager called me and wanted to argue with me stating that all phone calls are recorded. Why someone would immediately jump to something like that was alarming. So Megan and Kristin continued trying to justify their position with no regard or mention of my dog. These people should not be working around people's pets. These people are Toxic.

Staff is friendly and caring towards pets, showing genuine love for our furry friends.Unfortunately, we were faced with a sudden 'price increase' for the 'new year', catching us off guard as there was no prior notice given to us.Our weekly visit cost went up by 60% - a bit steep, all things considered.We may have to handle the tasks ourselves or find other options. Still, we appreciate all the good experiences and care provided until now.

Outstanding care from incredibly friendly, skilled, observant, compassionate staff. Our newest furry family member “Lilly”, was needing assistance with an eye injury and had called to set up an appointment for next day if available, but they suggested an immediate visit even though it was near closing time. Within a weeks time, the care and treatment that was provided, corrected the issue and we couldn’t have been thankful enough. Excellence all around. Customer service was and is exceptional! Found a keeper!!

Dr. Forward and every tech she has working with her at Whole Pet Davidson are amazing. She has seen my 19 year old shih tzu, Hunter, for several years. She and her team have seen me almost monthly over the last year, taken my many phone calls, and helped ease my mind many times. She is not only knowledgeable but incredibly lovely and kind.We had to make the very difficult decision to help our beloved dog cross the rainbow bridge last week. Dr. Forward was so kind in the process and helped to ensure that the whole process was completed with kindness and dignity. She and her team truly care.Her staff hand delivered a beautiful bouquet to me at my home a few days later. I was moved to tears and so grateful.
