this doesn’t even deserve a star. i parked in the lot earlier today and when i came out, i had a boot on my car. i had gone in to get my sick sisters medication and print a few photos, which took roughly 30 minutes. i called the towing company and when the guy came over, he told me i had been there for almost an hour and needed to pay $250 to get the damn thing off. he explained to me that people had been abusing the parking lot and leaving their cars to explore the block but i was literally in CVS the entire time and i had the receipts with time stamps to prove it. apparently they had just started doing this a week ago. i showed the dude the receipts and said it wasn’t good enough and to take it up with the manager inside of CVS or pay the 250. now obviously, i wasnt upset with this man, he was simply just doing his job but for there to be no sign about there being a 30 minute time limit change for a parking space is absolutely ridiculous.A woman across the lot was having the same issue i was and her kids were sick and obviously needing to get home. I felt so bad for this woman. i ended up calling the cops to see if they could do anything about it and when they showed up, they basically said that they couldn’t do anything about it and that we were in private property. that’s where i honestly lost it. i called my brother to come help me and when he showed up, the cops told him the same thing they told me. my brother went up to the boot guy and reexplained what I said to him, almost word for word, showed him the receipts AGAIN and he said “she didn’t show them to me earlier.” the guy just looked annoyed as he took a boot off of my car.just a small suggestion, when you change the rules of a parking lot or anywhere for that matter, make sure you fix and put up new signs.

CVS in Davidson likely generated thousands of dollars today by compelling many unaware customers to pay $250 for parking. Despite the absence of any signs indicating a specific time limit, customers' cars were booted, and they were coerced into paying $250 for the removal of the boot. Among the affected individuals were senior citizens, mothers with young, distressed children, and sick patients. (One of the clerks said that the parking limit is 30 minutes, but the store manager refused to answer any questions or provide any help when I went back to the store at 4:30p.m.)

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with a recent experience at this location. My wife visited the CVS Minute Clinic with our eight-year-old daughter. Following her appointment, she discovered a boot on our car, enforced by a towing company that the clinic has contracted. This company, which disturbingly employs gun-toting personnel, had implemented a new 30-minute parking policy that very day, resulting in the booting of several vehicles, including ours.Unaware of this abrupt policy change, my wife, along with others, was taken aback. She presented her clinic receipt to both the store manager and the towing company, but was met with indifference. The justification given was a PA announcement, which was impossible for her to hear from the CVS Minute Clinic consultation room. The response was simply, "there's nothing we can do."The situation escalated, requiring police intervention. The environment was chaotic and distressing, especially for my sick daughter who had to be warmed up in a police car. Eventually, after much unnecessary stress, the police persuaded the store manager and the towing company to remove the boot. This method of handling parking is unacceptable. Moreover, the towing practices appear to be in violation of North Carolina regulations regarding signage size and towing distance limits. The predatory nature of these actions is concerning and seems more focused on entrapping customers rather than providing a reasonable solution to parking issues. If parking management is a concern, a more transparent and fair approach would be to implement a metered system. This would allow patrons to clearly understand and adhere to the rules, rather than being subjected to arbitrary enforcement and intimidation. This experience has left us deeply unsettled and questioning the ethics and customer service policies of this location. It's imperative that such predatory practices be reconsidered for the well-being of your customers.

The pharmacy is in no hurry to check people out. Not sure if they are understaffed, but this was ridiculous. 16 people standing in line, one person checking folks out. She was taking her time and was in no rush. The automated voice keeps going off announcing multiple people on hold. Not one person was answering the phone.

I had a similar experience with my car being booted and I will not shop at CVS again. This past weekend I was with my three girls buying some medicine in CVS. I then walked over to the local coffee shop to buy my daughters a cookie (which took 5 minutes or less). After returning to my car I was shocked to see it had been wheel-locked with a ransom of $200 to release the lock. My middle daughter started crying hysterically and I first showed the tow man my receipt from CVS. He told me to take it up with local management. The store manager was very rude and said there was nothing she could do. I then waited my turn in line still with my three daughters (since he had also wheel-locked at least 5 or 6 other cars in the lot) to eventually pay the tow guy to release my car. The tow company (Wheel Lockers) is exploiting the situation and CVS has absolutely no regard or care for their customers. This is extremely short-sighted of CVS.

This should have 0 stars but have to give one to do a review! CVS management and a towing company have quite a racquet going. You go into CVS the towing coming watches then goes over and boots your car!! They require anywhere from 200 to 250 to release your car🤬🤬🤬 the signs say for CVS customers only, but even if you are a customer they will boot you. My son went into CVS there came out about 20 minutes later to find a boot on his tire! He talked to the tow company they didn’t care, went into CVS manager was rude and refused to do anything. FO NOT TAKE YOUR CHANCES GOING HERE!!! A simple visit to pick up a script for $3 can end up costing you $253!🤬🤬

Will never get another dime of my business. Sat am at farmers market . Municipal lot was closed and nowhere had spots . Yes I parked here despite signs and got a boot on my car that cost 200$ to get removed . At least 10 vehicles all got booted together, so they were making a killing on us. I acknowledge that I should not have parked there , but 80-100$ would be fair. 200$ is just flat out wrong and that is why I will never shop there again.

Our experiences at numerous CVS stores has always been successful. Store associates have been helpful and knowledgeable about the myriad of products.

Booting your own customers vehicles who are inside your store waiting for prescriptions probably isn’t the best practice. $250 for removal. Signs in parking lot display that parking is for CVS customers, which we were. We will not be using this CVS for anything in the future.

I've been trying to reach the pharmacy for 30 minutes. Nobody answers, line just sits on hold. Finally I decided to call the main number, was transferred to the pharmacy, on hold again for about 2 minutes before it was disconnected.

They have a tow company that waits in the lot to boot your car. They will boot you if you spend too long in the store or if you step foot off the property to even make a call or go into any other store

WARNING: They hired wheel blockers to boot your car after 30minutes and coerce you to pay $250 to remove it.CVS in Davidson is about to lose ALOT of business. Predators just looking to make more money.

I hate how terrible things have gotten here because the actual staff of the pharmacy are kind and have been for years. But they keep messing up my prescriptions by requesting refills on older versions of scripts when a new version has refills which then voids the whole thing out. They also never answer the phone - and I get it, a lot of what people could be calling about can be handled in the app but not everything. If you have controlled meds scripts sent over with specific fill dates you CAN’T do it online you have to call. More than 5 occasions have I spent an hour total over the course of a day on hold. Just today I waited for 40 min and decided just to drive over there to talk to them about the prescription and they were just closed? The store was open but the pharmacy was closed at 5:30 which meant likely I waited for 40 min while a phone rang into an empty room. Now I won’t have my necessary medications in time for a trip despite filling them with plenty of time in advance but they waited more than a day to do it and then they had to order the meds so who knows. I will be transferring to another cvs though I wish I could leave the franchise entirely if not for insurance constraints.

Something is going terribly wrong here. They lines are mega long everytime at the pharmacy. They are possibly mega understaffed or something is not working right in their system. The people working here are clearly trying their best but it unfortunately isn't enough. Maybe they can send the proper amount of staff or implement a better system?

First and last time I will be visiting this CVS. Listened to an elderly man ask for help in locating Tylenol powder to which the pharmacist responded condescendingly that Tylenol doesn’t make powder. He would have to buy goody. Customer said he buys it all the time because he has trouble swallowing. One of the pharmacists went to “help him.” He returned laughing at the elderly man and talking to the other pharmacists acting like the customer was dumb. Funny thing is, I buy Tylenol dissolve packets frequently. So I made sure to let the pharmacists know that there was such a product before leaving by showing them the box that I picked up from their own counter. Guess he’s not the dumb one….Do better.

They do not pick up the phone. Was on hold with them for 50 minutes before I gave up. The lines are always long here; this location seems to be severely understaffed.I will change my review if things improve, but for now this kind of service is unacceptable.

OUTSTANDING visit today. I normally don't brag on a clinic or pharmacy visit, but your staff was so exceptional that I would be remiss if I didn't.Ravon, the NP staffing the Minute Clinic was outstanding! He was very professional, thorough, and even expressed concern over my higher than normal blood pressure, which wasn't even the reason for the visit. You can tell this man cares for his patients and is dedicated to his profession. I personally felt like he would have spent all day with me if I needed him to. Please take care of him and make sure that he is appreciated. Also, your pharmacy staff was very efficient and professional in this unusual time that we live in. My prescription was filled even before I made the short walk from the Minute Clinic office to the pharmacy desk!!! WOW!! Please pass my complements to that team as well. Also, the new procedure of waiting in your car to be called was great! That is probably something that you could consider continuing even after this pandemic is over. Thank you for maintaining order and compassion in the midst of unprecedented panic.
