Feel like there was junk and displays everywhere and a lot of items were missing signage and prices. It made the store feel unkept and dirty. When I went to check out there was nobody around I walked the store and couldn't find anybody. I'm sure they have problems with theft due to no employees and tons of displays to hide behind to pocket items. Maybe the shopping experience very uncomfortable

Went into this store on February 21st 2023 at 2:17 p.m. according to my receipt while I was in there somebody through a roll of red tickets from another aisle which almost hit me I brought the tickets with me to ask the cashier if they were sold on the Isle that I was shopping on there was also to store managers right there as well which told me know they are sold on the party aisle so I told them someone through and almost hit me at the point a young man that works there cussing and talking about the subject he know nothing about at that point neither manager or anyone put their employee in place instead they said that I was making a scene and there was nothing that they can do about it I asked them to look at their cameras which they did not pay any mind to terrible managers and they will be working there miserably until the day that they're fired!! I also called corporate about the situation so we will see if they do anything but considering that the corporate office only had a one-and-a-half star tells you probably not

The only reason I gave 2 stars is because its convenient to my house. This store used to be great when it first opened and now it's a dump. Parking lot is always covered in trash, store is messy, bathroom is beyond Gross!! The staff used to be very friendly and helpful but not anymore. Someone needs to step in and take some pride in the place!! Get new staff, get a new store manager, SOMETHING!!

If I could give this place 0 stars I so would! I came to get a few household items with my 11 week old baby and the MANAGER followed me around and watched me the entire time, she even had Dallas Police waiting up front to intimidate me 😂As I go to pay the cashier steps to the side and she jumps up in front of him. She rings up every single item I had which came up to over 200 dollars and I pay and the Police Officer says "I'm gonna go ,call me if you need me again"! Can't make this stuff up! I don't have to steal I make good money and if I didn't, I definitely wouldn't do it with my baby with me. If this is the way you treat all your customers that buy a lot of stuff then I'm surprised anyone comes to this store! If you're using intuition then your's needs a tune up! I won't be back!

Height of Southern Hospitality here!!!! Customer service was top notch! Considering the fact that it's the week of Christmas and shopping, returns and irritated customers are at their highest level of year, the store was neat, shelves stocked as well as can be expected and cashiers helpful and pleasant.

This would be the Dollar general on New Hope. The people there are very nice and friendly which makes for good customer service. Hey I also have a lot of products to offer for good deals.

DG is a convenience for me .. The store it's self has good day's and bad.. I know for a fact that the management there truly tries Very Hard.. It seems like the volume and quality of people are to much for staff to keep up with... I feel that Dollar General corporate should step in and figure out a solution to help out with this situation.. It's heartbreaking to see someone try so hard.. I believe that my Dollar General will soon become a dump if no one helps with this situation considering that they are now surrounded buy low income apartments.. It is my belief that the store has a great staff and management in house but greatly needs to be over staffed considering the needs and situation..

There not the Dollar General have not ever walk being in love shopping at I'm at least spending an hour looking and shopping is very cozy inside for women who love to shop everything so affordable and they basically have a little bit of everything that you need woman could need for a household every Dollar General on top of that their employees super friendly smiling and ready to help with any kind of problem I really really enjoying spending my hard earned money with my local Dollar General funny way to the nearest one and see if they have something you may like I'm sure they will Affordable

The worst place to try and get out of onto N New Hope rd. The parking lot is rarely swept and not well lit at all at night. Some of the workers are nice and some are so-so. Typical of many dollar general stores, needs swept and tidied up nearly every time I have visited.

This is a great Dollar General. It's a stand alone store so there's always good parking. The store is always really clean and well organized. The staff is also very friendly and clean looking.

The store did not have enough help and the stock was piling up so you really couldn't get through the aisles. The cashier seemed a bit frustrated with having to put up stock and take care of the register and customer she needed help bad!

When this store first opened there was a White gentleman working there and this store was so clean and on point. Now you have women dress in what they want and smokes right outside the store and the store is a freaking mess. Sad that this store looks like the rest of the MESSY stores.

There are way to much stuff in the aisles. Can't walk around without bumping into something or having to move things. Other then that people are nice.

Somebody need to teach the manager. How to train his staff to keep a store clean inside and out. It definitely need a lot of work. Most of time. The outside smoking

service was awsome but the store was messy. they dont sell aux cables for some reason. but u can find almost anything u think would be in a dollar general. but overall the employees are awsome people.

Dont know what the problem was this mrng with dollar General employee on new hope rd near dallas but she had a really bad attitude i wouldn't recommend going to that particular store this mrng she the big MAD cause she had no money for cash back slamming my things in the bag then she attacked the buggy return like the Hulk

DG is so underrated! The only way I could love DG more is if they actually kept the Sour Patch Kids Ice Cream in stock! They are so far the only DG I’ve found who doesn’t keep it in stock soon after it goes out of stock! Which is a huge bummer!

Location great, but hard to get out during rush hour. Customer service could be a little better, but if I had to deal with some of those customers I would be unpleasant to.

Go here for $1 gift cards and end up getting inexpensive art, storage supplies. A great escape.

They have a pretty good selection and their prices are pretty reasonable. The layout of their store is easy to navigate.
