I have tried the food here twice. The first time I had a hot dog with mustard chili and slaw. The 2nd time I had a double cheeseburger and fries. The slaw on the hot dog was not good. The burger was okay but not anything special. I can see why locals would eat here because there is not many options near by. The food is not bad it is just not very good(4star) or great(5star). I must say the customer service was terrible the 2nd time I was there. I do not like writing reviews like this and my experiences here is limited with only trying it twice so they may just be random one offs and its actually better on a regular basis. I do not know. If I try it again I will report back.

Just left from the grill and got home and me and my friend couldn't wait to eat our cheese steak. The best pilly cheese steak!!! He also had a burger and he said it was delicious. We are happy we stopped here

Amazing Mom and Pop food with an added comfort feel. Hamburger was hand pressed and cooked to greasy perfection. This place takes me back home growing up in the country stopping by the local gas station to grab some food before hunting in the morning I would highly recommend stoping in for some of the best cooking around also not a bad price.

Their food is hand-made to order. The sausage patties are hand-pressed. Their hamburgers are hand-pressed. Everything that this little store was delicious. To top it off, the staff were extremely polite. I ate there every day I was in town for work. I think this place would be too popular if it was located anywhere near a large population. Very Very good.

The absolute finest hamburger steak, with grilled onions and peppers,(of course) that I've ever eaten in my 64 yrs of life! Reminds me of the old Kresses drug store in New Bern when I was a boy. My first weekend on my (new to me) Indian motorcycle, after visiting the Moore's Creek Battlefield Park on July 3rd, and my first visit to Johnson's corner grill actually added to the experience of me feeling like a true American Patriot! Even the restrooms on the outside, with the men's room door standing half open reminded me of home! God Bless America!!

Always a great place to get a quick bite at. Everything I've ever tried from their menu was great! Does get pretty busy around lunch and dinner, so I'd recommend ordering ahead of time over the phone, otherwise I have no complaints whatsoever!

Decided at the last second to stop here as I was almost out of hours and saw there was a place to park trucks. Nice quiet (and dark) place to park a truck for the night. I had double bacon cheeseburger and the wife had a BLT from the grill. She had the same for breakfast as they don't have biscuits and gravy on the menu. I had a breakfast sandwich. Food was good and staff was very friendly. Not as friendly in the morning but seemed pretty busy. Took off one star for the restroom as the wife walked in and came back out before the door closed. So I didn't even try. Considering we're on the road staying in truck stops and rest areas so if she won't use it it must be bad. Otherwise a nice place to stop for the night

Had my boyfriend get us breakfast there this morning. I buy food from the grill often. It's usually great, but this morning it was so awful. The grits were not done right. They were clumped up and they were soupy. The egg didn't even taste like egg, just grease. My toast was thrown into my grits and soggy by the time it got back to me. My cutlery was thrown in the carry out tray with my food. I called and made all this known and the person in charge acted like it was no big deal. She actually said it may be because we were the first customers and the grill was clean. Wait, what? I would seriously hate to think of how awful it would have been if the grill was not clean!!

Beware pumping gas here. The pump charged my card for gas, but didn't actually pump gas into my car & they will not give me my money back. I will never patronize this store again.

I've been coming here for a while, and my favorite thing to order is the Philly Cheesesteak, it's always delicious, never a miss, and when I come here for breakfast, I get a Sausage and Cheese sandwich on a bun, and the sausage is insanely good. It tastes like they make it fresh every morning. And the customer service? So warm and inviting, I always feel welcomed when I come here, like they really want me to be there.

Johnsons is a combination grill, Johnson's store, grill and gas station. It offers quick, cook to order food, drinks, , fishing supplies, ice cream& live bait. They also sell fishing licenses, and in store tables for eating. Great little country store/ grill with a little of everything. Very friendly folks, call orders ahead for faster service. Very popular, great location, easy to access.

It's still early in the evening, but already the peace and quiet of this place is evident.A lot of dropped trailers, but still room at 1900 for about 8 rigs if parked wisely.The food at the grill is good, though light on the veggies and heavy on the deep-fried. Thd catfish and onion rings were superb.A good selection of beer for those inclined.The staff are a wonderful breath of fresh air: friendly, interactive, hospitable . . . Real.A refreshing change after a few too many runs to bigger [or bitter?] cities.Oh, and there's wonderful fresh-baked muffins!The only thing I found missing, was wifi for my extended stay.

The staff and customers are very racist and to top it off they have a roach infestation and poor food storage practices that will eventually lead to someone getting very sick or there death. I would have given them no stars but google makes you play nice.

I just left from there upset again! This is what happened. She rings me up for my can drinks that are two 6pks for $3.00. I get four 6pks. The total on the register is $6.41with tax. I tell her I would like to pay with my Ebt card she makes a displeased face and turns around to the Ebt machine puts in my total swipes my card and tells me to put my pin in. I look at the pad and it has a screen that tells me my total $6.41. I ask her shouldn't it be $6.00? She makes another face and as she turns back around to the register to void the transaction and ring me up again she tells me that she usually doesn't rering a purchase up when the person tells her they're using Ebt after she's already rang them up adding tax. I can't believe she just said that! That's her job what she gets paid to do! So she just told me and admitted to stealing money from customers Ebt cards and not telling them any different unless the customer catches it. So how many times has she done this? Can you imagine how much money she has stole from customers that made large purchases there with the tax not being took off because she didn't feel like ringing the items up again because they didn't tell her first! All she has to do is void the ticket!!! This is fraud!!!

Not only are the people that work there slow moving , they're also very rude!!! There were 2 customers waiting for food and I stood there 5 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me. They just kept their backs to me and ignored me. Not only are they rude to customers but rude to each other. Sad, sad place to work or do business with.
