I've been going to this store for 11 years, and this is the worst I've seen it. Staff is nice, but the employee shoppers often don't show respect for the actual shoppers in the store. Store if often out of stock, out of date products, or no date on meat and fish products. Discontinue items I buy weekly. New self checkout ok, but laid out poorly, if you use coupons you need to insert them but don't find out if they deduct from the total until the end so then you have no coupon to show. New receipts don't show the detail of mvp discounts only a total, so no way to confirm what you pay for. I bought a buy this get that free, but appears I was billed for the free item. Result...using other chains in the future...very inconvenient. Maybe the new developments in the area will bring new stores as competition.

This store never fails to have my watermelon or any item I need. Also, the employees are very courteous and knowledgeable about the aisle a product is located.

Not as large as the outside would suggest, prices are very typical Chicago prices, food court has good food but again your paying Chicago prices

If I could give them zero stars I would ! I come here EVERY week and when I walked in they told me they were closed. The store hours displayed on the door and online said 11pm and I walked in at 10pm. People were still checking out when I walked in so there was no issues with the POS systems. The lights were also on so it wasn’t an electrical issue.

Usually out of quite a few things. They should stock the shelves after hours and not when their busy. They should have kept the long conveyor registers also. The new little registers and self checkouts are ok for a little bit of items but not if you got to get groceries! Nice employees and still like the store. Just what's observed.

I was looking for a box of twinkies for my son and couldn't find them. Charles was very polite and helpful. He not only found the single packs, he went to the back and brought me a box while I was standing in the checkout line. Amazing customer service with a great attitude!

Always has a mixture of meats, fresh veggies, and baking supplies. Fresh eggs, milk, and drinks when guests drop in unexpectedly. Just call, tell them what you need, what time you want to pick it up. They'll bring it out to your car for pick up. Quick and easy and a time saver.

Love this location. Always clean and well stocked with friendly employees and they will quickly open another lane even when there aren't that many people in line.

I had the pleasure of ending my visit to food Lion today at Lane's checkout counter. What an absolutely awesome employee- personable and likeable. went in to buy groceries. I saw sale sign for redbull buy 2 get one free, I ask the cashier to make sure.the cashier ask a manager because it’s not showing when she scan it. manager went to check the sign and he said yes so I bought it . I went home check my receipt not showing any discount so I drove back to the store,talk to same cashier and manager and manager said he well refund me,a few minutes later another manager came and she said the smaller size is the sale not what I have picked. so I returned it. managers need to make sure they knows what’s on sale and not on sale so when customers ask they know the right answer😠😠😣

My only complaint is that there is no self checkout. Every food lion in the universe has self check out but this one and the one in Butner! Please please get them so we can zip in and zip out when we only have a few items.

Wow! As bright and clean and well stocked as if it just opened last month!It seemed like I had the store to myself, with spacious aisles and fresh produce.Staff was friendly and engaging, not robotic or sullen.Plenty of parking, easy access, super clean.

We shop here several times a week. The store is always clean, there are always employees in the aisles so help is available easily. Produce is normally pretty good, but I have picked up bagged onions or apples and some are already bad. Prices are reasonable and its convenient to me.

I've been to an abundant amount of Food Lions in my life but no where else has as friendly and personable staff as this one. Everyone greets you with a smile and will actually talk to you like they care. They are always quick to help if you need it and they keep the store stocked and clean. Worthy of six stars.

I don't usually go to this Food Lion as I am closer to the one in Franklinton. However when you live in the country, and need to take trash to the county dump, you combine trips! So I dropped by this Food Lion and was delighted to find stocked shelves, a clean store, and a much improved layout. There was such a difference in offerings at this location vs my own sadly lacking local store that my grocery day location will be changing to Creedmoor!

Went in to get husband 12 pack of beer, had less than 5 items. Lines were long. Cashier asked me for ID. I'm over 40. Told him I could give him my birthday. They said no. I come in this store couple times a week. Went to get wallet had to wait in line & was not asked for my ID.. the 1st cashier & manager were white that asked for my ID , 2nd cashier was black.

Some cashiers are wonderful, most are rude and make you feel like you're wasting their time. I dislike shopping here, but it's the closest grocery store and it's on my way home from work. If only Harris Teeter were closer...

We normally visit this Food Lion when we are visiting my family. We live in Maryland (not for much longer) and when dad or my sister needs something this Food Lion is close.Young gentleman helped us find Wonder BBQ Bread which we had never heard of. He was very polite and pleasant.Lady that checked us out was also pleasant.

One of the more pleasant Food Lions I have been to. Extremely kind and helpful staff that isn't too much. This is the biggest food lion I think I've seen. It's really nice; especially from an out of town visitor. Thanks for a nice experience. ☺️

This was not the one I usually shop, so things seemed different. I had to ask assistants. They said where they thought it was, because management was rearranging everything. The only problem I have is that Customer service (cashiers) acted rude and attitudes. Tiffany was the only one on the front end showed any excitement about her job. My cashier should take lessons from her. Better yet, if he don't like people or his job, he needs to quit.
