GO IN! The outside was not exceptionally appealing, but as soon as you get through the door, Ken was extremely welcoming and Sara took the best care of us!DETAILS - We explained some dietary concerns we had and Ken provided us with about the menu and Sara helped us with a few questions and made sure that our visit was enjoyable.The food was hot right out of the kitchen, the fish tacos, shrimp, and fries were delicious!Parking: Open parking spaces behind building.

Every time my wife and I visit Corolla we make it a point to stop in. The food is always a hit and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The portion size of the food is worth every penny.If you’re in the neighborhood this is a “Must go/eat” destination.

One of my favorite places to go in Corolla! The grapefruit crush cocktail is one of my favorite drinks ever. The crab wings are also amazing as a matter of fact, all the flavors of wings are great! I also tried the special crab soup and it was amazing! The perfect balance of crab flavor…not overpowering at all.A great place and they even have entertainment some nights.Kid-friendliness: All parties welcome.

The food and service was fantastic at Uncle Ike's. Our waiter helped us make good selections when we were trying to decide between two meals. We shared a fried pickle appetizer and I ended up having the fish tacos with blackened Mahi. My girlfriend had fried shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. We both enjoyed our meal, I was surprised at how large the portions were. Beer and watermelon margaritas went perfectly with our food and there were TVs playing the baseball game easily viewable from our table.

The food at this place is amazing!! We arrived on a busy Sunday Night football evening and we were told they were short staffed. We would’ve never know it! The service was great! Our server, Matt, who said he was also the chef, was efficient, informative and light hearted! I cannot rave enough about the Hatteras Chowder - one of my Top Ten Best Things I Ever Ate list!! A broth, not a creamy chowder filled with potato chunks, bacon, bits of seafood and the most delicious broth ever!! The tuna bites were perfectly done and delicious! I had the blackened fish (mahi) tacos and they were stellar! They are huge!! Matt was so personal and fun!! Great guy and even a more awesome chef - he made the Hatteras chowder! Thanks, Matt for a great evening!

Me and my husband came in from out of town and were looking for a spot to get a drink and some quick grub. If you been to the outerbanks prior then you are aware that all places usually close the kitchen by like 8 pm, especially around this time of the year. We came to Ike’s around 10 pm and even though the kitchen was closed they surprised us and made fries, wings and mozzarella sticks. Let me say the at food was plentiful and tasted great. The margaritas were on point and every one was so friendly and welcoming. Music was also jamming. We will be back and glad we came in. Thanks for the hospitality everyone.

We have been going to the OBX pretty regularly and this place has been consistently good throughout the years. Honestly our usual restaurants were disappointing on our last trip, except Uncle Ike's. This was the highlight of our eating experience while at OBX this time around.We started off with the fried pickles of which my 10yo gobbled up most. I got the old crab chicken sandwich which is a grilled chicken topped with crab. The chicken was moist and the flavors were well balanced.My husband got the seafood platter which he enjoyed. He ended up taking the grilled shrimp and some.of the green beans as leftovers which he ate the next day. My 10yo got the shrimp platter. He enjoyed every bite of shrimp. The mashed potatoes were too lumpy for him, but if you like the lumpier mashed potatoes, this was still good. My daughter is not as big on seafood but was happy with her cheeseburger and fries.

We just ate here and the food was delicious and the service was good. When we received our bill we noticed that we were charged extra for ranch/blue cheese dressing that comes with wings anywhere we’ve ever gotten them and for $17 you’d think a few tablespoons of dressing would be included. No big deal but the kicker was being charged $1.50 for a few ice cubes labeled “rocks$” on our bill for a tiny plastic cup of a shot of Tito’s with a splash of cranberry juice. I asked before leaving what this cost was and was told it’s an up charge for getting a drink “on the rocks “ yet I didn’t order anything on the rocks. If I knew I’d be charged $1.50 for a few ice cubes I should have, at the very least, been offered the chance to scoop them out of my FREE water with ice cubes !! I mean seriously, we spent over $200 for dinner and to add that cost without having your waitress or waiters mention that there is an ice cube charge for a drink was ridiculous and a very sneaky way to add extra costs to our bill without informing us of the costs.

Tay was a great and patient server. (Our group was "needy".) Food was great. Appetizers are a must. We asked about the different denominations of dollar bills hanging over the bar. Was told the owner matches everything at the end of the year to send to Haiti Relief. We all took out fives and tens and signed them and Tay hung them up for the end-of-year tally. Do wish they did not close down their bathrooms. (Public restrooms in a nearby building. )

One of the best meals I’ve had in my life and the drinks were heavy hitters yet delicious! The cocktail menu didn’t have prices but they were $12 which is a great price for pint size cocktails!! For dinner we got crabby fries which seem to be on a secret menu. The seafood mac and cheese was impeccable and the shrimp skewers - part of the Mixed Grill (surf and turf) entree - were the best shrimp my fiancé has ever had, and the tuna steak on the Mixed Grill was the best I’ve ever had.

I have the voodoo shrimp n grits. Ken was our waiter! He was incredible 👏🏾 very polite, super knowledgeable about the food and drinks. He was also very quick to bring on our food and answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend Ken as the waiter 👌🏾Now the food is some of the best food I've had in the south hands down without any question. I'm not sure who the new chief is but this man needs an award. I haven't had food that made me want to sleep and cry for more at the same time!

For real I would say 4.5 stars. Great little joint with a fun vibe. TVs everywhere and the food came out fast. We had seafood Mac and Ike’s mixed grill. Seafood Mac could feed a family! Tons of crab and shrimp. Mixed grill was delicious. Redo for sure.

Great Food! we sat on picnic tables in the patio area. Very accommodating, we had a group of 24 and they very quickly spread us out on a few tables. Service was a little slow but the staff were working hard during prim dinner time. Food was excellent, crab cakes are the BEST! Seafood nachos were covered in seafood and fresh cheese, nice big servings too. Definitely recommend this place for family dinner

The food was the star of this restaurant. The food is "upscale comfort", a quote borrowed from our engaging server. We had the New England Clam chowder, very tasty. The house salad was ok. I had the shrimp and scallops taco special which was outstanding. My husband had blackened fish on a bun. He ordered tuna which was cooked sushi style. Also very tasty. For me personally, the restaurant temperature was too cold. I would recommend this restaurant.

Joined a coworker for lunch while evaluating homes in Corolla. It was beyond perfect. The service was wonderful and attentive. I think the firecracker shrimp were the best shrimp I have ever had. My salad was perfect and crisp. The grilled chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy, and delicious. HIGHLY recommend.

Stopped by for dinner as part of a group (off season). Overall the food is great. Got the fish and chips myself with fried pickles and nachos as group appetizers. We were seated immediately. The server/staff members were helpful and the service was relatively quick. Tasty food. Good portion with relatively decent pricing (given it is a beachtown).

Amazing! Had a great experience here! Me and the family came here as a large party. The staff was very accommodating and were able to seat us quickly. We sat on the outside patio. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. She gave great recommendations. We started with the Crabby Fries which had great taste and real lump crab meat, old bay like seasoning, and melted cheese. For entree I got myself some more authentic local food and ordered the thier signature dish called Ike's Mixed Grill, which has Tuna steak, 4oz fillet minion, two skeweres of shrimp, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Wow! That was a great dinner. See the attached photos. I got both the Tuna steak and Fillet Minion cooked medium rare. The taste was so good for both. Tender, juicy, and flavorful. The mashed potatoes surprised me with the subtle coconut flavor immbedded in them. The shrimp were perfectly done and had a nice sear on them. Overall great cookery. Happy taste buds. Definitely recommended.Parking: Plenty of parking around restaurant.
