Great spot to grab a few beers and hang out with friends. Nice laid back vibe. Location is totally out doors in a shaded area. Local beers are very tasty. Plenty of seating and tables. No food at the location.Parking: Plenty of open free parking

Chill laid back outdoor spot to grab a cold beer. Mostly local Nc beers. A few other options. No food but food options are near by.Large outdoor tables and an outdoor bar. No indoor seating so business is dependent on good weather.Really nice outdoor trees keep it pretty shady. Plenty of fans to keep the air moving.Mon-thur they have music and about the only place open late.

We stopped here before our wild horses tour and loved the vibe! The beer was great for my spouse. They only had cider for me that was gluten free. But since the weather was warm, I was just happy they had something else besides wine. Really cool outdoor patio and exceptionally dog friendly. If we're ever back in the area, this place is a must!

We enjoyed grabbing a couple of beers they have snacks but ordered a pizza from next door and then just kicked back for a couple of hours to do a little people watching. The atmosphere is great and the service too.Parking: Gravel lot.

Awesome place. I rate 3 star for food because they didn’t have any food but I can recognize beer as a food but I don’t like beer so it’s like ughhhhh BUT the atmosphere was great and they had live music! They should have let the kid play the drums though he was better than that old dude! My friend and I had a good time at this place and recommend to anyone who likes beer or gardens over the age of 21 (if you’re under you’ll have some trouble) it was great though top 10 gardens in CorollaKid-friendliness: They are very kid friendly! They let a kid try out the drums he didn’t get to play a song though I was sad but they were friendly to him he was a nice kid

Cool place to relax and enjoy the ocean air. The set up is very natural and chill.We had a few beers after our horse tour. There is easy access at the front and plenty of parking, bathrooms are on the back.The garden had cool chairs and tables made of driftwood.we enjoyed our time here.

This is a great place to sample some local beers on tap or even your national/worldly favorites. Awesome outdoor setting with driftwood chairs, and fans for the hot days of Summer. Souvenir hats and t-shirts too, plus some select snacks that accompany beer drinking. If you can't find something here to your liking, you're not trying. We will be back when in the area for sure.

What a hidden gem. Dog friendly quirky retro ambiance. We went there after going on the wild horse tour. It's rite around the corner. A must!!

We had a radler during nap time of our baby. There was few kids there so our toddler was happy. It was a friendly spot. It was nice to hang out there. They allowed us to grab food from around to eat on their patio.

Great place to get away (while on vacation. Sometimes you need a break from family!). There is a wide selection of draft beers and the staff was very friendly. The only drawback is that it is outdoors and subject to foul weather, so plan accordingly. It does get crowded, so come early.

The vibe at the bar was laid back and easy. Terrific selection of beers with a highlight on the local flavor. Great lighting and music. The music was perfectly leveled to accommodate the friendly banter seen all around. After moving to a table our conversation kept going surrounded by cool locally inspired decor with a woodsy organic motif. The natural wood elements make this place seem almost otherworldly. Cool vibe. Great staff and ownership. Super chill friendly crowd. No food is served but you can order food from the local purveyors and you're welcome to bring it in for a bite. This is a "go back again and again" for sure!

My new favorite beer garden! Drinking at The Shack is like drinking with nature. Many chairs and tables surround a giant oak tree in the center of the bar. Atmosphere aside, the drink selection is great as well! Can’t wait to go back!

Must visit stop when in the absolutely gorgeous Corolla, NC area!!!!Great selection of brews, both local and from around the country.Just about the coolest atmosphere of any bar on the Outer Banks.Stop by, grab a cold one, have a seat on one of their awesome driftwood carved benches, and enjoy the relaxation.

Very cool place!! We had a party of 11 and easily found a table when we went for an early happy hour/dinner. I really enjoyed the berry cider (it’s always nice when a beer garden has a gluten free option. Very cool vibe. They don’t serve food, but encourage patrons to bring takeout from neighboring businesses, which seems so great for the business community. Highly recommend!

The owners are the kindest.. we have stopped here for the past 4 years on our 300 mile bike ride. They let us wash up our bikes and charge our drone !! Yayay
