Sign outside says "Beach Towels 2 for $24" but we get to the cashier and they just point to the tag that says "2 for $28". We looked at all the towels, none said 2 for $24 so it seems they're not actually offering the sale or they literally don't have any left and are still advertising it. Don't get me wrong the cashier was very nice but clearly mgmt isn't telling employees about sales or promos.

The touristy places I have been in my life typically price gouge. I honestly thought their prices were really fair. Ton of selection for all your tourist needs, grab a beach chair, a few towels, OBX shirt and gi have some fun. Service counter was very frindly as well.

Bright and colorful when we visited, and well stocked with deals on swimwear after the season ended. I heard later in the week the same location was quite disheveled after an influx of interested shoppers, so might be quite a variant. Great selection of hermit crabs and accessories, lots and lots and lots of shirts and clothes, and plenty of goofy and trendy souvenirs. The staff was very polite and helpful when I visited.

They wouldn't blow up my son's Ballin for his 9th Birtday. I wanted to buy balloon so they would, but they had none. I even offered $20. Was treated very rudely. Do not go here. They also lied about boogie boards. Workers should be fired and owner disgraced.

My go-to OBX store. I still have cool little trinkets from 2002. They haven't changed much about the store but the tee shirts are still ×-rated and kids always find a cool toy to stay occupied for hours. Also, one stop shop for gifts for the in-laws and family. Also, cheap. The place still has decent priced shot glasses and cheap 11 dollar bathing suits. A must see store.

This is a great store to go into! They have almost everything you could possibly need for the beach! From cute little nick-nacks to 9ft beach umbrellas. They definitely have a lot to offer for all ages of the family! I definitely recommend coming to shop here!

I love this shop! I buy shirts every year I come! They have nice beach themed decorations and kids toys! I put four starts because the atmosphere feels like a tourist trap eve though it isn’t.

Love spending money for t-shirts to remember your vacation and you find that the logos are crooked when you get home. What a joke. You would think they would at least take pride in producing a quality t-shirt when that is probably their bread and butter.

We stood at the check out for at least 8 minutes while watching girls keep walking on by, one was hugging a mannequin and at that point I lost my patience when I said, “hi! Can we please check out.” We just wanted to get some stickers. It’s an okay store but subpar service.

I was recently in Kitty Hawk and went to this place and spent a lot of money . I got home to Dallas Texas and looked online thinking I could buy some more items and have it shipped and noticed they don’t have shopping online . What ? Why? Omg I literally could notBuy anymore and take it in the plane with me. Why would a business in the year 2022 not have an online website to order from. Well guess I won’t be spending anymore after all. Maybe the shop OBX has a website to order from … I loved the store and wanted to do some Christmas shopping so I guess I would have to go somewhere else. This is why I only gave it 4 stars . It left me wanting more with no option to buy it and have it shipped .

Great experience! I especially would like to give s shout out to one of your employee. LILY. The type of employee that every business on wishes they had. Seems so dedicated and helpful. Even being busy, it appears she took care of all her customers. Kudos to Super Wings in hiring such pleasant and dedicated employees. She deserves a weeks vacation with pay! Will see you all again later in the summer!

Affordable gifts, I get all my souvenirs and my yearly towel from them but I’ve said It once and I’ll say it again... don’t buy swimsuits from them. I wore mine for two days (maybe 5 hours of wear) and the underwire poked out. But I’ll never stop coming for my towels!

The cashiers at this location will sneakily add things on to your receipt. We were charged for a can Huggie for 1.99 and a pack of playing cards for $3.99. They probably gouge out of town era all the time. Pay attention to what they charge you for...we had no problem with the location across the street

Now I usually love a good tacky tourist gift shop but there is a cage piled high with painted shells and hermit crabs. The hermit crabs were not able to move easily and were climbing up the cage wires. There was very little water in a bowl that probably only holds 2oz anyway which they need and can store in their shells and to keep the gills wet. It’s a shame they have to live like that and then go to some kids beach house and die before they get it back home.

Wings is an awesome place to get stuff, if you're a tourist here for the week , or a local looking to get a new shirt or sandals from somewhere that's close by. Love that they have hermit crabs, which are excellent starter pets for kids. Everything is a little cheaper than the other stores in other shopping centers around the area. Got a super grey OBX hoodie for fall for like 24$. Coupons can be found in the local resort magazine.

Great Prices, cute hermit crabs (got one), and cool spinners. I've had no problems with the employees but the one problem I do have is that some of the things can be on the pricier side like the spinners and shirts.

Went into the store to buy a few items and picked up a necklace and got back to my house to notice that it wasn't in my bag and called the store to see if it was left in the counter. The store worker said nope. If you ever buy here make sure you check your bag.

Clothes: You can get good deals if you get the 50% off which is usually running when we are here every September. Could be all summer, I'm not sure. The fabric on most of the clothes is about 50% lighter than what you get at normal department stores. Be SURE to check all the stitching before you leave because many times you will find flaws and need to get something different. There styles are unique to OBX. You get what you pay for. The stores are everywhere.Staff: They do what you ask, but that's it. Most of them are European and have the "I don't give an F" attitude. Barely say a word to you and usually never say thanks. They act like they are doing you a favor just acknowledging you. One exception is one non-European girl that works at 818 Ocean Trail that wears a ball cap. . . she's nice to customers. The rest suck.Returns: I had to exchange a garment because the stitching was bad. They let me walk in and get another without issue. Of course they only response I got from the cashier when I went back with the exchange was "You want a bag?" No thanks . . .but you have good day . . .

Although this store does indeed sell quite a few nice products for low prices, I personally would never purchase from here. Upon walking into the store for the first time, my cousin (who is much younger than me) screamed "Oh hermit crabs!", and walked over to the cage. I was absolutely appalled by how these crabs are kept. There are 45-60 crabs in one small enclosure, a similar size to the one I kept two in for a year or so before getting a bigger cage because it wouldn't fit them. On top of that, there is a huge chance that they are all slowly suffocating, because hermit crabs' gills need an environment with high humidity to function, and there was not nearly enough water in the cages. Additionally, their shells are all painted, which is extremely unnatural and oftentimes the paint can harm the crabs. Overall, although they have good products, I morally cannot buy from this store.

I suppose that due to labor shortages all of the Super Wings stores we went into were less than clean , it's also apparent that the shoplifters are out in full force unfortunately.If you take time to look through the racks there are deals to be found.

My best description is wall to wall stuff. If you don't find a souvenir at this one, then just go across the street to the other one or any of the other 9 in the area.
