Avoid this establishment. The man behind the counter was very rude to my disabled (Down syndrome) son “I don’t know what you want, I don’t understand you kid” is his reply to my son asking a question. Then he complained there were customers during off season. And he said he wasn’t supposed to be open and was only doing ‘mail orders’ yet he has all the advertising stuff out front, clothes, signs etc…. Why be rude to customers, there’s no reason. I won’t even tell my friends this place even exists.

Chuck is AMAZING!! My daughter is normally not a picture taker but he was able to get my daughter to wear an entire costume and use flash! Thank you so much for making this a memorable moment.

The shopping part of the store has some really cool stuff throughout. The photographer has years of experience and it shows. He was a bit of an opinionated guy but he definitely knows his stuff and how to entertain. The photos were phenomenal. He definitely did a great job catching genuine smiles from everyone in our 16 person party, half of which were kids. He dealt with costume change requests with ease despite the added cleaning protocols. We plan to come back when we take our family vacations at the Outerbanks! Thank you for helping us document these precious moments!

My family and I went to Miss kitty’s on our last day in OBX, and boy did we have fun. Chuck the owner is absolutely amazing! He has a gift for gab, and makes you feel like part of the family. We had my son there with special needs, and Chuck was so good with making him comfortable, and in turn making me comfortable. He is great with kids he even got my son to smile! can’t thank miss kitty enough for the fond memories!

My fiancé and I stopped in while we were on vacation, and the pictures turned out amazing! Usually I can barely get him to take a picture or smile, but Chuck was fantastic and was able to persuade him to try different poses and everything! We had a blast. The employees there were so nice and welcoming, definitely a must! I would highly recommend it! We'll be going back every time we vacation!

One of the BEST experiences of my whole vacation. My 9 month old and I had pictures done by Chuck and he was amazing! Sooo funny and he was so good with my daughter! He was very enthusiastic and excited throughout the whole experience, he truly made it so fun! The pictures turned out great, will definitely be coming back next year!!! Must do in OBX! !!

Our family wanted an old time photo, but our oldest two kids were reluctant. Chuck the photographer encouraged them that they would enjoy it, and it turns out they did. Chuck offered good suggestions but was not pushy. He was both fun and professional. He offered all the upgrades but didn't give us grief for declining. Overall it was a memorable experience for my family and we're pleased with our photo. Note that the rate for photo and session does not include a frame, which we added a nice simple one for $15.

Always treated well and extremely happy with the memories of our Outer Banks trips that our Old Time photos help to keep fresh in our minds. Always a great time here. The owner is very nice and very accommodating. They have any theme from old western to mermaids to pirates. The photos are of great quality and some of my most treasured of my daughter. They also sell high quality, unique frames. Not the cheapest by any means, but you get what you pay for and will not regret visiting this place. I am so looking forward to going next month and making new memories with my little girl.

The most fun I ever had while having my photos being taken. The staff was super kind and funny. The youngest of all of us( 3 yr. Old ), had a fun time, not crying but instead smiled the whole time thanks to the great photographer and his assistant.Note: The assistant kept the youngest one preoccupied when the rest of were busy, that was nice treat.

The owner's name slips my mind but he was great. We have a family of 7. 5 kids ages 9 months to 9 years (with 2 under 2). He and his assistant were incredibly patient and worked great with the kiddos. His assistant even played hero by chasing and catching our runaway 2 year old while we were getting in costume.The pictures turned out great too. He managed to make screaming kids stop long enough to smile.

Got to the business soon as it opened we were 5th in line already. But we were able to put our name on a waiting list and there was a link to show us how many people in front of us so we didn’t have to stay there. It was a long wait but MOST DEFINITELY worth it!! The owner (I feel so bad I don’t remember his name!) was SOOO good with my kiddos!! We had a 3.5yr old and a 2yr old. He was so patient with them and my son loved him! We got a (1) 8x10 and (2) 5x7. Great time and I love my photos!! Can’t wait to go back and do it again!

I went here for the pictures and it was an awesome experience! The photographer was hilarious and made taking pictures fun while having to sit still for a bit to get the rest of my family posed. We also came here last year and it was great both times. I would highly recommend this place for pictures and also great gifts.

I rarely post reviews if I have a positive experience but this was mediocre at best. First, we were told it would be a 4.5 hour wait and planned our day accordingly. Then we receive a text an hour early and respond within a few minutes and were there within 10 or so. We get to the shop to find the owner double booked our time slot with another family. We then had to wait the additional hour for our photo. Why not just text back and let us know. We had 4 kids eager for a picture. I understand CoVIID times but this was not professional and owner just claimed he was understaffed. The assistant was great and the photos turned out fine but the ridiculous wait needs to be noted. A better system needs to be in place for sure!!

Nothing better than getting great service, a great product, at reasonable prices. Photos turned out great.Arrived early to get our group of 11 a spot and found a motivated young lady excited to work with us to capture us dressed as pirates. She patiently worked well with our children aged 11 months to 11 years.We saw pirate, civil war, cowboy, saloon, and brothel costumes and props.Get there early, as they are a popular spot and they invest their time into making the pictures turn out right.A cost per person for a sitting fee, and then costs for photos.Fun way to capture our family vacations.

It was a great experience. We did something similar when our kids were young. Now our kids have kids and there were 15 with young children. The staff was amazing. We got results much greater than our expectations. The young lady that took our photos handled the youngsters unbelievably. Every picture was a treasure. Thanks so much. It was a highlight of our trip to OBX.

My family travels to the OBX almost every other year and Miss Kitty‘s has become a tradition for us. It can be a bit pricey but it is totally worth it. The costume selection is amazing and the staff are very experienced in getting the best shot. This last time we did steampunk and it turned out phenomenal. Can’t wait to go again!

Chuck was awesome. My sisters and I are very boisterous and loud. We had an idea of the theme we wanted but we are opinionated and very demanding and to put it mildly. Chuck was patient and funny. He made the whole process painless and we had such a blast. There are so many themes to choose from and he knew exactly what would look good on us. This is a must do in Corolla. My family and I come here every year and there is always a different theme to pick from. Don’t miss out on making memories with your friends and family.

Miss Kitty's was a fun experience for my entire family. We went last year and happily returned this year for another excellent time. The photos are an awesome memory. This is a "must do" activity for your Outer Banks vacation.

Was out with ky fiance. We decided to get old time photos done. The owner was knowledgabe and polite. I think the pictures turned out great. I also wasnt feeling well that day. The owner made me sit and got me a glass of water. He also helped carry our goodies down to the car. 100% would recommend.
