Are these the best bagels I’ve ever had? They are good, but probably not the best.But that doesn’t matter. You can tell when you come here and interact with the staff and eat their food that they care about what they do. There is something nice about a business that specializes in one thing.These bagels are outstanding and their breakfast sandwiches are excellent. The staff is very outgoing and friendly. We witnessed them be patient and understanding with small children who didn’t know what to order.Have always loved coming here and I look forward to coming back again.

Easily the BEST Bagel I have ever had (and I live near the best). As a tourist I read the reviews and I spotted it on a drive. I looked at the time it was 11:25 am. They close at 11:30 am. I ran in and they stayed open for my order. The staff was so friendly and nice. They told us how they donate the bagels at the end of the day to the fire department The bagels are truly amazing.

I thought I made a review a while back. This is the best bagel shop in all of the Outer Banks. They have a great selection and good customer service and on those days where there’s a crazy line do you have a ball or button that you can push and skip the line I think that’s super cool. Make sure you get there early and always remember they’re closed on Mondays, which seems to be the day I want their bagels, the most.

Always a great experience, and a go-to spot for my family!French toast bagels are perfect!I'm from New York, born and raised, I manage a local bagel shop in Upstate NY, where we kettle and stick bake bagels... I'm telling you that Lighthouse Bagels is a must try spot for a great bagel, and totally worth the drive nomatter where you're staying in OBX.The hours are limited and the line starts well before they open, so either plan to wait in line (I promise it's worth it) so you can see what else they have going on inside, or order ahead and pick up at the window if you know exactly what you want.We always get a bacon egg and cheese on French toast bagels, but everything there is so good. The coffee cakes, confections, and other bagel flavors are great too!We're always happy customers when we visit!

Such a great local spot! They offer a wide variety of breakfast and lunch, but their specialty is clear. Their bagels are so stinking good (and their cream cheese)!The service was great as well, they were patient and had suggestions. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.

Lighthouse Bagels has perfected the balance of speed, quality, and affordability. This local restaurant is one of the few that serves as the backbone of Corolla for all its hungry locals and tourists alike. Even when the line stretches to the parking lot, you’ll notice it won’t discourage ANYONE from waiting, except the Karen’s. Bless y’all, Lighthouse Bagels Fam. Very very busy tasty bagels place. You can seriously taste the quality! A variety flavors and sandwiches to choose from. The vegan on an everything bagel was sooo good, l went back, right before closing, and bought MORE bagels with a container of strawberry cream cheese, and coffee crumb cake, which is tasty also! If you want the best bagels in Corolla, be prepared to wait for them. They open at 7 which I think is a bit late for a bagel joint in a beach town. If you show up at 7 you’ll be waiting for at least 45 minutes to get your food. Best to arrive 20-30 minutes early to be the first in when they open. Despite the wait the bagels are worth it. They’re a little on the expensive side but they are quite large. I highly recommend the French toast bagel. It’s one of a kind and isn’t too sweet. I also found the sriracha everything bagel to be a nice twist on the everything bagel but my only complaint is that it lacked some of the “everything” topping. Their rosemary olive oil bagel is also quite good and unique. I pictured the French toast, sriracha everything, and an egg bagel (cut open to show the vastness). I didn’t give it four stars because of the service. The two times I went recently the wait staff was curt and impatient.

WOW! Best bagel ever! Just got done having a delicious Lighthouse Bagel. Got the beer pretzel bagel, everything egg and French toast with apple cinnamon and dill pickle cream cheese on the side. There was small wait at 6:30 am, but well worth it! I will be going back!

Solid bagels: lots of variety including some funky ones like the French toast bagel, beer pretzel bagel and cinnamon burst. Get their early as the line is usually long after 10am.

2 different times I've gone here; once for over a dozen bagels for the whole house, picking up on Sunday morning and once for a few sandwiches picked up Wednesday morning. Both times it was busy but I didn't end up spending more than 20 minutes to ultimately get my order so that's awesome. The prices are ok, especially considering how great the bagels are. The order for the house lasted at least 3 days and were still great. Overall this place is a must go if you're looking for anything bagel related in the area.

Lighthouse is a staple at Corolla for my friends and I. Next to bagels from NEW YORK they’re honestly my top 2. We are here multiple times when we come to vacation. The service and staff are amazing. Even when they’re super busy. The vibe is what you’d expect from a bagel shop and they have a great selection of beverages. When you’re in Corolla, Lighthouse is a mandatory of places to eat.

Warm and welcoming set up. Wide selection on fresh baked bagels and breakfast sandwiches. Wish they had more of a coffee selection other than just hot coffee and their cold brew. I got a bakers dozen and that was 13 for about 26 dollars. So prices aren’t bad.

Can rosemary sea salt bagels just be a thing everywhere?? I need more. I regret not buying a more comprehensive spread of items, but the bagel/cream cheese combo I did have was perfection. So many flavors of cream cheese. So many interesting bagel variations. What a great lunch stop this turned out to be!

Must go here!!! So good!! Got the garlic bagel with bacon, egg and cheddar cheese. Best bagel I have ever eaten! We also got the cinnamon burst bagel and cinnamon roll and they were amazing as well! Forgot to take pictures of those! Recommend splitting so you can try a couple different things. Also, the hazelnut coffee was so good!

The hype is real! These bagels are amazing! I don’t usually get blown away by food, in the fact that when you eat it you are like “whoa” but this place is something I definitely said that! For one the bagels are huggggge, like I ate half my sandwich, and that would have been enough but I had to finish. The Cinnabon’s are amazing as well. My kids even said “this is amazing!” I definitely will be coming back to this place whenever we visit again!
